hey get with it- the guy is productive! WE HAVE TO TRADE HIM!
i don't care what he thinks or what he says. he is a top-5 kick returner, no more, no less. not a superstar WR, but a guy we need.
the minute you start taking for granted that anyone we throw back there will produce...that's when we can add one more to the laundry list of problems on this team.
you can call me names if you want, but i don't fit your thesis.
i "saw it" when i was little and i coached it (6th/7th graders) as an adult. and it is/was patently dull. to me. and i will add that the parents of these kids were no treat either. they were managable, but certainly not like xc/track parents.
meanwhile, i saw my first int'l pro rugby game 4 years ago and i am hooked. i didn't need to "grow up" with it, to appreciate it.
nice analysis but you overlooked the obvious...the 1980 bills had a real coach and chuck knox would never ever lose to jauron and his treadmill of mediocrity..you could trade rosters and knox would still win.
if you are a bills AND sabres fan, you should paint it royal blue, white, scarlet, navy blue, ruby red, nickel gray, black, gold and silver.
did i forget any?
if you can get through two verses i think you might enjoy this. you might like the song, or you might find the violence compelling. or maybe you dig clay...:

i don't know why it is even controversial whether pennington is good or not. of course he is a good qb and he has embarrassed the bills more than once. i look forward to the day we can say trent edwards is as good as pennington. i hope it comes this year, but i am afraid he is going to get killed behind our line before we ever find out how good he could be.
