  1. hey man don't sweat it...it only took bruce smith 10 years to learn how to play the run!
  2. he was an average fullback who ran head-first, full-speed into the hole no matter what. i give him credit for playing hard every down, and for being a better player than that idiot salisbury, but that's about it.
  3. (i had forgotten how funny that losman quote on brett favre was )
  4. you're right, hoge is another one. why does that guy have a job? and whoever dresses him should be fired too.
  5. sean salisbury!? speaking of douches... the guy is a blowhard and was a sh------- qb to boot. whatever he says to do, mularkey should do the opposite. you can tell by listening to him that he knows very little about the bills. i laughed my ass off this past sunday while driving home from boston during the bills game. since i was stuck in my car i had to listen to espn radio to stay abreast of the game. every time they returned to the topic of the bills/chiefs he kept repeating that KC WOULD WIN THE GAME. he kept it up till it was 14-3 about halfway through the 4th quarter.
  6. oh stop it. i guess the bills haven't had injury problems in the past 3 years either. nor has any other team. good grief, it's one thing to say your sh-- smells like roses because you've won 3 rings- i give the pats total repsect for that. but to come around here and cry about injuries as though you've conquered some insurmountable odds is just nauseating. almost as nauseating as listening to suzy kolber practically have an orgasm (prob'ly the first one ever from a man- not that there's anything wrong with that) while carrying on and on and on and on about tedy bruschi 2 weeks ago.
  7. i think i would be more bothered by it if there was actually some question as to who it would truly be. i think everyone knows losman will start.
  8. i hate the browns. they're not the bills.
  9. that dude sounds like someone slipped some valium in his genny cream... "uhhh...it's very rare....and, um...it's also...uh, hard to find..........................................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........" i was expecting him to launch into the "dave's not here" gag from cheech and chong.
  10. ok, i admit i am embellishing, but you get my point. why in hell are we talking about "cap hits" in year five of this regime, with guys who were ostensibly signed to take us to superbowl!? this roster is springing leaks faster than TD can plug them!!
  11. HOW IRONIC. five years later and the bills have come full circle with a sh------- roster and back in "cap hell." but seriously, donohoe has done a great job. :fyou smiley:
  12. i don't think he's mean enough to play defense
  13. i don't blame you one bit.
  14. how's this...we can be against the drug laws, but also against substance abuse. i am all for peoples' right to !@#$ themselves up, but i think it is a shame that so many people abuse the privilege. and i am not talking about getting drunk or high at a bills game per se. it's the habitual users who slowly kill themselves or cause accidents that kill others. and they do drive a trade that damages a lot of lives. i used to teach in the city(philly). so many little kids lives are spoiled and ruined by the drug trade it is just incomprehensible. but where there are people with habits, you find a drug trade and all the ill effects that result. it would be great if people could partake once in awhile, in a way that didn't destroy their "freedom," but also wasn't so destructive to our culture. but that is the problem with drugs...if you enjoy them too much, you keep going back until something bad happens....not everybody, but too many people for sure. i always tell my kids (i teach substanc abuse) i am not here to moralize. drugs are not "bad." but they sure are bad for you. then they always ask me which is the "worst" drug...i can only answer that it is the one you use. i don't know where i am going with this, but i don't think it is too paradoxical to think that the "drug war" is a farce, but also that people need to be careful what they wish for...
  15. i agree. i would like to add that drugs are not "bad," but they sure are bad for you. i would also like to add that i can't remember ever going to a bills game where there wasn't pot smoke drifting around somewhere.
  16. sullivan could gain a lot of respect if he would not go so far over the top to slam the players and organization. there is plenty of legitimate stuff to bash them for, and i believe he should, but my problem is that he chooses to punctuate it with cheap shots that often are not justified. it is a shame because he is a lot like dickerson in that he sometimes has some really good insights. but then he turns around and cheapens them with all the ridiculous b.s. he feeds you. i always read his columns though, so i guess he wins.
  17. sheppard didn't have a problem against our defense, did he??
  18. i quoted you because it made me laugh...plus i have full faith that you could do a better job drafting than TD
  19. i'm an alum, and even i know that job is a death sentence. as a matter of fact, i know that better than most. i can't imagine in a million years why he would do it. i guess the only thing more surprising was that weasel rick neuheisel was supposedly a candidate at one point. only thing i can figure is that all these "new commitments(i.e. money and facilities)" they've made must be something special. but honestly, every 5-7 years we get another assload of "new commitment" from the administration and all it ever brings us is another generation of UB-quality D1 football- a gigantic waste of energy and resources for a university that functions as a giant commuter school. they keep kidding themselves that they are going to turn north philly into some sort of rah-rah big-10 type environment, but everyone knows it is NEVER gonna happen. clements really wants to bang his head against the wall at temple?? why, and for how long?? surely not any longer than necessary. as going 500 in the MAC conference would be akin to feeding all 30000 temple students with one armload of loaves and fishes. clements from the bills to temple? i know things haven't been going well this year, but i don't get it.
  20. i'm not ready to give up on mularkey, but i said many times that i wanted coughlin to get the bills job. imo, he's exactly what this team needs.
  21. i hear ya. and whatever you do, DON'T turn on the sabres-ottowa game.
  22. ah fuggit: Bruschi Is AFC Defensive Player of Week 49 minutes ago New England's Tedy Bruschi, returning to the lineup eight months after a stroke, is the AFC's defensive player of the week. Bruschi had 10 tackles Sunday in the Patriots' 21-16 win over Buffalo. He played nearly full-time in his first game since the Super Bowl. Other AFC players honored were Denver quarterback Jake Plummer (offense) and Houston's Jerome Mathis (special teams). The NFC players of the week were Tiki Barber of the New York Giants (offense); Charles Tillman of Chicago (defense) and Joe Nedney of San Francisco (special teams).
  23. (there. i think i fixed it?)
  24. THAT'S IT- I HAVE TO GO VOMIT NOW
