  1. when asked about the late TD he should flat out say: "that touchdown is the least of our problems." or "the issue is not that they tried to score, but that we LET them." he should not give some wishy-washy answer like, "gee i wouldn't ever do that." and the fact that he even brought it up to norv shows his head's not in the right place!
  2. hey mike, as far as i am concerened, the jury is still out on you until we get you a GM who knows how to draft, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, QUIT WHINING about that last raiders touchdown to the media! just stop RIGHT NOW before you embarrass yourself any worse! if the raiders pounding it in one last time on our sorry asses was so humilating to the boys that you need to make a public issue out of it, then there is no hope for them anyway- since they are clearly not emotionally tough enough for the NFL.. but still, if you're going to complain about something, why not complain about the lack of pride and intensity we showed in letting them run it down our throats! THAT'S THE REAL PROBLEM COACH- not the fact that "somebuddy's wittle fee-wings" got hurt on a late touchdown! jesus! honestly! i am astonished that he would even discuss the matter when, time and time again, we have seen that this is a team with NO BALLS when it counts. and he is worried about their feelings being hurt! no wonder this team has no spine.
  3. bryce paup?
  4. THANK YOU FOR THAT POST. it is 100% on target and leads me to what i believe is the single most glaring weakness TD possesses. he is NOT good at stocking the roster with talented players! are we completely devoid of talent? of course not. but too many of our guys get pushed around too often. good grief, have we converted a 4th and one all year? i don't give a damn that mularkey gave the ball to shelton- he could give it to jerry sullivan himself and we should still get the touchdown 9 times out of 10. and yeah, posey is not a real good linebacker. he wasn't anything special in houston, nor is he here.
  5. exactly!! and anyway, that crap is no more than a defense mechanism for people who LACK confidence.
  6. no, marv's not the answer. am i the only one who remembers how relieved everyone was when he finally resigned???
  7. you're not nuts. i don't think mularkey's the problem. i've never been a fan or gray, but i really think this team is just talent-poor. and for that i blame donohoe.
  8. PLEASE SOMEONE PIN THIS THREAD
  9. hell, why not?
  10. cmon man, don't be a NEGATIVE NANCY. i have optimistically predicted 6-10 since the tampa game, and i have not changed my mind
  11. did posey play yesteday?
  12. that is where better talent acquisition would have helped! i think the greatest area in which donohoe has let this team down is not in picking coaches, but in assembling a roster of players talented enough to get it done. i may be in the minority on this, but i think our coaching staff is plenty good enough to win in this league. but i also think the players they're stuck with are very overrated.
  13. you make a good point- he definitely has range. running 30 yards to do the lambeau leap after making a routine tackle on 3rd down definitely proved that. so it must not be him- i guess it's that whole "stopping the run" part of linebacking that is overrated.
  14. i know vanek and drury are going to start lighting it up "any day now," but how great would it have been if we'd signed petr bondra to finish some of these great scoring chances we've been generating?
  15. i have been saying this since we signed him. that guy is OVERRATED!
  16. luring marv back was a bad idea when people brought it up at the end of the gregg williams era, and it is a bad idea now. what this team needs is better talent on the field.
  17. i hate to let my relentless pessimism bleed into my enjoyment of the first 6-2 sabres team we have seen in decades, but i can't help it: it all seems to good to be true!
  18. thank you for reminding me!
  19. yeah, i have been waiting for the wheels to fall off there also, but the fact that we are leading the nhl in shots on goal is not only a good sign, but downright astonishing, when you consider what a tough time we've had creating shots in the past. i hope everyone within an hour of rochester will consider buying a ticket for the beating we're gonna put on the caps this week!!
  20. things ARE NOT as bad as they look! consider this: the bills' 3 wins have come against teams who are a combined 4-14, which is a winning percentage of .222. i know, i know...not too good. BUT, if the bills would have beaten the 1-4 raiders, dropping them to a hypothetical 1-5, the winning percentage of the teams they had beaten would have actually DROPPED to .208! SO, as you can clearly see, losing yesterday's game has made the each of the bills' three victories THAT MUCH MORE IMPRESSIVE. in light of this irrefutable fact, now that our salary cap problems are solved, it is clear that TD has this franchise headed in the right direction!! darn- is it too late to buy season tickets?!
  21. oh don't worry. mcgahee's better than all of them. just ask him.
  22. bravo, coach. i'm sick of these effers myself.
  23. yeah willis, let's ride the horsey. way to run your big dumb mouth you idiot.
  24. and we'll still be 6-10 at the end of the season...if we're lucky.
