[closed]Charles Clay to Bills? - the sequel/trilogy

Beerball, Maybe he means that Miami is hoping that Buffalo/Cleveland signs him to an offer sheet, and then Miami could trade him to the other team which will in turn match the offer sheet. Not sure if this is possible, can a player be traded after they sign an offer sheet and the original team is within their 5 day window? I know he is eligible to be traded right now, IE Peerless Price...but not sure on the point after the offer sheet is signed. -
Bills to trade Kiko Alonso for LeSean McCoy
rsxfirefighter replied to CNY315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read that this trade is pending Kiko passing a Philly physical. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Kiko ending the year on IR/PUP and he technically cant be traded until the new league year due to CBA or something. (Purely my speculation) -
Bills to trade Kiko Alonso for LeSean McCoy

I understand a vast majority of people are upset with this trade from both organizations...but we all have forgotten one key aspect in this trade.. "Buffalo can not trade Kiko, Only Kiko can trade Kiko!!" #LegendOfKiko -
It appears that on TwoBillsDrive that you can not view any other news articles after the initial page. When you click on the page 2, it loads P30, but it is the first 30 topics still.

Many props to your "Source". :worthy: :worthy: I will own my words and now eat crow for doubting you... :bag: I still refer back to my 2nd comment...did he give you the winning lotto numbers. :-) Now, it appears we have a few new posters to this board with reliable inside information. Mods: Maybe the site should add an icon after a persons screen name that indicates that they have a proven reliable inside source.

Alex Van Pelt disrespected by GB
rsxfirefighter replied to BrycePaup4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shocker...making a coach 100% honor a contract they sign when the team has to 100% honor it if they fire him. For as much respect I have for AVP, I applaud GB for being this way. -
Head Coach candidate: Hue Jackson
rsxfirefighter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the thought process is more around the lines that a new HC would want his own DC and OC, since the performance of those positions will make or break him as a coach. Coaches are have specific ideas on how a team should operate and if the DC has a totally different attitude/mindset it could cause a coaching rift that a HC may not want to deal with. The season they went 8-8 before, Hue was the OC and that was why they went 8-8 then too. Cable was fired for a reason, and Hue was promoted for a reason. The biggest reason Hue was let go, was Al died the next year and his son decided to bring in a GM finally in Reggie McKenzie. He wanted his legacy based off of a coach he hired, not one that was already in placed. This is also why there are seldom GM Changes in the NFL without a corresponding HC change. Look at DC this year, its a rare occurrence and makes you wonder how short of a leash that Jay Gruden has now. -
Post Interview Rumors???
rsxfirefighter replied to rsxfirefighter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i am still rather impress no leaks from the front office...still impressed.. -
I am not sure if this is being discussed elsewhere, but has anyone heard any Post Interview Rumors or Source Leaks? In the past, I swear we used to hear positive and negative reviews after interviews on occasion. Haven't seen nor heard one yet this off season regarding the Bills Search. Does the New Pegula Run Office actually have tight lips compared to seasons past?

I remember when he got hired in Oakland and was like..umm..ok...another Raider hire...He really impressed me that first year and I thought he got shafted by the GM they hired after he was hired as Coach. His term in Oakland reminded me soo much of Nolan's first tenor when "Prepare to Suffer" Reiger was hired in Buffalo... He has a strong Offensive background and I have only read great things of him in the past. If Buffalo hires him or Frank Reich, I will be ecstatic. These two I believe would leave the entire Defense alone in my opinion. However, not sure how our DC would like to work for a rookie HC in Reich. That is why I have Jackson rated slightly hire in my wish list. Just say no to Double Trouble Shannahans....watched that sleaze-fest first hand here in DC. Hell, I would take a Marone interview over Shannahan interview anyday. -
I heard Kelly would be better suited for the Hospitality Coordinator Position, Thurman in charge of Lost and Found department, Bruce in charge of the Sleep Apnea department. Just Saying..(also having a little fun from the past too..)

It was previously reported that this 4M Golden Parachute has no strings attached. He would get it whether he coached here or not. In addition, any other money he earns this year elsewhere does not get deducted from that 4M. It was 100% guaranteed with zero loss. So either he stayed here for 4M, stayed home for 4M, or worked on another team for 4M + Whatever they pay him. Wish I could convince my bosses of a similar contract..

Article: Why OL is bigger issue than Hackett/QB
rsxfirefighter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree Yolo.. Well written and researched. Buffalo has had so many holes to fill these past few years, and we all knew it couldnt be done in one off season. They took the chance that CW would fill the gap and the Richardson would transition smoothly. Obviously that didnt happen. From what I remember, last off-season was the worse to find a Starting Off. Guard. Lots of teams were looking to upgrade, but the talent/availability wasnt there. Hopefully they can sign a great FA and draft another potential stud in round 2 and maybe Richardson steps up his game in year 2. A few years ago, it was hard to identify our glaring weakness because we had so many holes. Now we appear to only have OG, Game Breaking TE, and maybe QB. We know this draft is not going to be heavy on GB TE's or Franchise QBs (Some say none in draft) after round 1. So that allows us to focus all our attention on a potential starting OG. Lets go Buffalo!! -
