I would think it's a more productive idea to have ideal conditions in the first rookie minicamp of the year. Like you said, we need to see what they can do and how they are picking up the playbook. There is a time for practicing in the elements, and 60 mph wind gusts dont lead to a productive practice. The key is learning new stuff right now.

Too much would be anything over a 4th, and I'm even iffy about that. I love the way Buddy drafted this year and I believe that those picks would be more important than adding a RT.

But wouldn't that boost in jersey sales provided by our team help offset the lack of suites and luxury boxes? Or does it not work like that?

Our best hope is for Kyle Calloway to develop into a solid right guard so Eric Wood can shift over to C. About Brown and Gaither, I think we would be giving up way too much to do that. Meredith is better than most think, so I don't see RT as an important enough need to warrant what it would cost.

How is Williams justified? Just because he was not considered a project? He now is struggling to maintain a roster spot on the Redskins, and was drafted #4 overall. IMO, drafting a guy in the Top 5 that stayed on the roster for 4 years is worse than a project player that came out at the age of 20. Now I'm not saying Maybin was a good pick, just that I believe Williams was a worse one. We do have the advantage of knowing how bad Williams sucks, while the jury is still out on Maybin. The simple fact that Williams was #4 overall and Maybin was #11 makes it a worse pick.
