  1. Until they trade both of those picks next year, for picks the following year....
  2. +1. Just cause you can "work" the draft, doesn't make it a good draft.
  3. They can't expect to keep getting lucky on 6th round HOF'ers. Sure they can draft a ton of people, but how many of these lower round guys do they expect to actually become a competent player in the NFL? And how many 1st round CB's can you take?
  4. You are just as ignorant?
  5. Agreed, but they need to start getting players that can come in and play, because the Pats* are an old team. They are essentially screwing themselves over a couple years down the road, IMO.
  6. Ummm... no they didn't? John Adams, you have just won the dumbest poster of the weekend award!
  7. Because they got lucky on a 6th round QB that shouldn't have ever seen the field. Do you think they win 3 Superbowl's with Bledsoe? Check out New Englands past few drafts and tell me which guys are impressive today.
  8. New England has proved its a great strategy by being on a downslide the past couple years? Get a clue dude, getting 18 draft picks doesn't make it a good draft, only the players you pick can make it a good draft.
  9. Schefter also said that we were "heartbroken" when Tebow was taken, when we didn't even have him in our plans, period.
  10. You guys are funny... Buddy has said how many times now that he is going out there and getting a guy he believes can help this team immediately. Nix has forgotten 10x more than any of us will ever know about football, trust him, he has a plan and the draft isn't over yet.
  11. Cue everyone bitching in 3... 2...
  12. We passed on him 3 times before... obviously there are lots of red flags with the kid
  13. haha, got me
  14. Have you seen how phenomenal this kid is with the ball in his hands? Unreal speed matched with equally impressive quickeness and acceleration, Spiller can score any time he touches the ball. Best offensive player in this draft. Like Buddy said, "There's only one Spiller."
  15. Levitre.
  16. Size and arm strength is key, but there is a lot more to evaluating a prospect. Do you have any more info on him?
  17. Nix is doing the right thing, drafting the best player available on their board every pick. We need supreme value and talent from this draft and Nix is doing that. Troup is a true NT and IMO will be the starter Day 1, as with Spiller. Spiller will be a pro-bowler his first year, in at least a KR or PR role. Troup will be the solid NT we need, and is a hard-worker and has been his entire college career. That, I believe is the most important factor in evaluating prospects. Not too familiar with Carrington, but I do like the pick. We need to bolster our run defense and Nix is giving us a legitimate shot at becoming a Top-10 defense next year.
  18. There is a reason he fell this far...
  19. Whoa dude... step down off the ledge...
  20. they are on espn.com just search for "Gruden Camp"
  21. Spiller isn't a me-first guy, so I don't see him having a problem taking another number.
  22. For what... maybe 1 game a season?
  23. Like I just said in the chat above... I'm so happy that we went with Best Player Available instead of reaching for a need. Spiller is a game changer in the mold of Chris Johnson, and if he can be nearly the player Johnson is, I'm more than satisfied.
  24. Nevergiveup... we need more info about tomorrow!! Will we trade up to get Clausen? or do we stand pat at 41 and see who is there?
  25. Thoner, when aren't you negative about everything?
