  1. Byrd always looks like he's bored on the sideline, but like every team's worst nightmare on the field!
  2. They just showed that 2d FG attempt by Carolina before the commercial. It looked a lot like someone on the Bills got a hand on that kick and deflected it. Did anyone on CBS mention it?
  3. They're grooming us for a prime-time comedy slot.
  4. I'm with the Senator on Jim Leach, but I fear he doesn't have the resume to take over football operations, so the Bills may be tempted to keep their same loser front office. That is, if Ralph Wilson decides to make any change at all.
  5. Bring in a big name GM/Coach to take over as VP Football Ops. Have him educate the Bills players that it's play well or get a job in the food service industry. No other team will take on a loser player from the worst team. Have the GM/Coach take over in 2010 as the head coach. Make sure he's a no s**t disciplinarian who has a pulse on gameday. Jauron may as well be a cardboard cutout on the sidelines. We've all discussed GM/Coaches we'd like to see. Let him hire a new scouting regimen. I just wonder if RW has the balls left to do it.
  6. Let's see how he explains away this one. How long will he keep his job?
  7. The NBC announcers are trying so hard to make it sound like there's good football being played. Just tell the truth, they both suck.
  8. Religiously! It's Wednesday. How is Jauron still employed, much less anyone else???? The Bills FO should quit to limit the self-humiliation. They'll next be receiving a lifetime achievement award from the New England Patriots.
  9. If I were Wilson, I'd take another look at my financial statements and pat myself on the back for looking so good financially. After all, I didn't have to spend money on a real general manager, I just used my marketing geek. My scouts are so bad, I don't need to give them a raise for another decade. Hiring new scouts would cost money. My head coach tricked me into spending more money on him, but I'll show him. I'll keep him for his entire contract before hiring another nobody to replace him. I look real busy and I'm in the Hall of Fame. No one suspects that I had a stroke ten years ago which reduced me to the intelligence level of a fern. You know what, I could probably save more money by letting Bell go at LT. We've got way too much talent at that position. What's a left tackle? I'm sure there's someone from the Las Vegas UFL team that needs a minimum contract. I should tell Jauron to play Fitzgerald in place of Edwards. Wait a minute, I think Geraldo Rivera said something. What was that thing? Oh well. What's on Animal Planet?
  10. I can't remember a Bills game when I wished that the opposing team would score 50+ against us, while the game was in progress. That way, there wouldn't be any guessing or carping about whether or not Jauron would be fired, it would just happen. Even if you install a bad interim coach for Jauron, it might wake some players up, especially if the new coach started coaching instead of some kind of bizzaro Miss Congeniality contest. Most of the players on this team wouldn't make another squad in the NFL. At the end of the season, replace the interim, who will, no doubt, be unable to turn things around, with someone of esteem. Sack the organization too. Brandon can be kept on to do the thing he was trained to do - marketing. Lock him in his bloody office.
  11. It's hard to win in the NFL... We will learn from our mistakes and improve... Why are you asking me football questions?...
  12. Total Yards Buffalo - 34 Miami - 12 We're kicking butt! Glad we're hitting all those downfield openings.
  13. The best quarterback on your team is your punter.
  14. Sorry, Lee Evans is one of the most underutilized great receivers in the game. If he had anyone who could throw him the ball, he'd be an all-pro. Unfortunately, when the football stats are printed at the end of his career, he'll look like a loser receiver having played for the Bills.
  15. Oh, YEAH!!! We had moral victories against Dallas, New England, New Orleans, Denver,....
  16. I'm optimistic, which is pretty hard for me to say, but when we start beating good teams, then I'll feel it more.
  17. I, too would like the additional games on Sunday and Monday night. However, the NFL has existing contracts with CBS and FOX which would be affected by a deal of this sort by removing potential viewers from those teams' markets. Perhaps in the next television agreement, the NFL can arrange for more games on Sunday and Monday night. I'd embrace being able to watch more football contests per week.
  18. Harris, anybody, pull a guy out of the stands for Ellison on obvious passing downs. Ellison has proven himself to be a stout run tackler, but sucks at pass coverage.
