The real authentic jerseys have double stitched letters and numbers (meaning there is 2 layers of material for each character) the sold screen ones are the authentic replicas. I've paid up to $80 for the replicas (got a Kelly one but pulled the numbers off and had them double stitched) but they are no where near my authentics. Best story, a few years ago some guy was throwing his brand new, still packaged authentic $300ish McGahee jersey in a fire at the Ralph the first game Willis was back for. I grabbed his hand before he could toss it in and got the jersey for $25. Now he prolly feels like an ass since I got Spillers name plate put on for $15. It's number 21, with so many DBs and RBs on a team your bound to get some stud rookie within 2-5 years. Man I love dumb people.

2 things I gather from this.
1st Tommy boy looks like such a fairy going down that slide. Your right. It's just too easy.
2nd I'm so glad to see Tommy boy sliding into a pool full of hamsters and not working out. Here's to hoping he hits this season very weak.

I just see so much of him in Jasper. I really want that kid to be great.
On your point, I loved Big Pat. One of my favorite all time Bills. But with a completely different regime I don't see us picking him up. I actually think were very heavy on the Dli e now.
Dareus
Troup
Williams
McCargo
Kelsey
Carrington
Jasper
I know I'm missing someone more too.

Fact? Evans third year was at least as good as Steve Johnson's third year.
If you watch them I know you agree that Lee is nothing more than a burner going deep. And as he is getting older he's not doing that good anymore. Fact.... Evans has never had double digit TDs. Not as our #1 with Losman throwing only to him and nobody else. Not with Trent playing things safe. Not with T.O. Taking all the double teams away from him. Not ever. Johnson had a better season in his first year starting at WR on a miserable team with no chance of making the playoffs and no running game.
I've said before that I like Lee, it's just muly opinion that he is on his way out as a Bill. As I said with Roscoe as well, he's a gimmick player. Good at returns and that's about it. He had a great year last year until the injury. But that proves my point about him. He can't stay healthy. We have other guys to run back kicks. He will be gone soon too.
The old guys on this team are on thier way out. Especially ones that can't stay healthy.
Evans
Parrish
McGee
Poz would be too if we had anyone else at ILB
-
If you take Lee and Roscoe off of this team then our receiving corps immediately turns into a weakness. Stevie is not good enough to be a legit #1 option. You'd be putting way too much pressure on the younger guys. It could have a negative impact on their development.
Are you freaking kidding me? Do you even watch this team? Stevie J had a better year than Evans ever had. EVER!!!!! Fact!!!
How can you say Stevie is not a true #1 option when he just had possibly the best year for a WR since the days of Moulds and Price. Evans statistics and play has never proved to be better than a 2nd WR option. I really like Lee, I've met him and spoken with him multiple times, he's been one of my favorites for years and is a good guy on the team and in the locker room but he is no #1 option at WR, never has been a legit #1 either.
And don't get me started on Roscoe, the guy weights 170lbs soaken wet with all his pads on. My forearms are thicker than his thighs. When was the last time he wasn't injured during the season? The guy can't stay on the field. I'll admit he played well last year when he was in there but the fact still points that he can't stay healthy. He's also got to be around 30 and regardless what you think he hasn't done anything in the return game in years. This team is getting healthier and younger not the other way around. Johnson, Easley, Jones, and Nelson are the up and coming WRs for this teams future. Evans and Parrish are on thier ways out.
I'll make a bet with you. If Roscoe and Evans are on this team as our #1 and #3 next year at this time I'll buy you lunch. Chefs spaghetti Parm is on me. I don't even want anything if Im wrong. That's how sure I am about it.
-
I'd want Young first just for what he CAN bring as far as production. I think Chan could help fix him. But I don't think it will happen. I see Thigpen as our backup.
-
After the year Roscoe had before the injury I think he'll be here. Personally I agree with Evans. I think his time as a Bill is over. If he isn't cut I'd put money in it that he gets traded for as low as a 4th rounder. I actually like your assesment of the WRs. This team is getting younger not the other way around. I COULD see both Roscoe and Lee off this team. And i'd be perfectly ok with it.

Let's see. There's so many things I'm excited to see out of this team this year. Let's just hope there's a season, which I think there will be.
1st I'd like to see that Fitz is and will be the true leader at QB that we all have wished for. For so long we've been thinking we need to draft an early first round guy to make it work. With other pieces around him I thi I Fitz is and can be the guy. I'm looking forward to 3,500+ yards, 25+ tds, less than 17 ints, some good leadership to win in close games, and some major Elway sized balls to go with it.
2nd I think the OL is goi g to be fun to watch. It could start off completely different than it finishes and often does. I'm hoping for a line like this: Bell, Levitre, Wood, Handgartner, Hairston (I think Hanny will get in as RG due to his experience, which would be good to have him right next to wood at C, and the rookie at RT) i'm looking for major improvements in the run game this year and better pass protection.
3rd the WRs on this team I think are the strong spot(or will be by the end of the year).
First of all I think Evans days of being a Buffalo Bill are done, at least as a productive one. I honestly think he will be cut, or we will get a 4th round pick for him after the season starts and a team needs one due to injury.
With that said, I thought Johnson was turning into a true #1 WR last year and can do that, unfortunately I think this will be the last season of him being the #1 and that's only because I think Easley will be unstoppable very soon. He's got Andre Johnson size and if he's even half as good he'll be our #1 for years to come. With Nelson and Parrish running crisp routes on the inside of the field and Jones and Rosevelt spelling anyone needing a break. I think this is our future of WR and i couldn't be happier about it.
Our RBs will follow suit with the WRs. Spiller will get many more touches, he'll have about 800 rushing and 500 recieving this season. Freddy will get a little break as far as touches but that won't matter. He will still be the Freddy we all love. And White will show us some flashes and get a few of us wondering whe. Freddy is gonna retire so we can see some more of White on a regular basis.
4th our defensive Line COULD be monsterous within a year or two. I'm hoping for a big rookie year out of Dareus. I think you'll eventually see Troup start at DT with Dareus and Williams at DEs. The great thing is you can move them around so much that any one of these guys could play any position on the DL in a 3/4. That helps us free up space for our LBs and isolate double teams where we want them to happen. I really hope Jasper makes the team and gets in a little this year. What excites me most is thinking of Jasper at DT and Dareus and Troup at DEs. If Jasper was ready by the end of this year (I know, long shot) then we could trade Williams after another pro bowl season and get at minimum a 1st round pick for him. Just think if we got that and then that 4th for Evans we would have alot to bargain with (possibly You know who) or just to continue to build our young team in other areas.
5th our LBs might be the weakest point of this team or they might be stronger than we think.
First, I'm not a Poz lover at all, but with better talent around him, and not expected to be the best LB on this team, he might be decent. I personally want him resigned unless another stud is out there instead.
I can see Moats and a healthy Merriman at OLBs and wrecking havoc on many QBs. Moats really started to co e on at the end of last year and the thought of him with a healthy Light Out really gets my electricity pumping. I also see Batten filling in at both ILB and OLB as well as Coleman possibly starting early in the season at OLB or possibly spelling for both Merriman and Moats. Andre Davis will probably start at ILB with Poz and you'll see alot of Shepard early and often. We tried the Kelsey experiment at OLB and he sucked because he couldn't cover a slug. What about filling him in as a backup ILB on running downs and just ask him to do what he did as a DE for so long. I'm just saying I can see it happening.
6th I think the CBs are the weakest point of the team but that won't last too long. Williams and Searcy are going to start evenually but I think Williams is the only one to start now. I think you'll see McGee play his last game as a Bill probably by about game 6 or 8. At that point you'll see Williams and hopefully Florance, if not it will be McKelvin. I would love to have Williams and Florence start with McKelvin as the nickle from day one but I don't think it's gonna happen.
I think Donte will be back as a Bill, but that's only because he can't make anywhere near what he thiis he's worth on the open market. In the end, he will actually turn down a little more money with another team to come back to Buffalo. He will be our starting SS but will be on a short leash because we have Searcy and Wilson who can come in if Lil Donte is playing at a sub par level. Byrd is our FS and will be there for a few years.
I can see our stating DBs in the future as: Williams, Florence/McKelvin, Byrd, Searcy with McKelvin/Corner as our nickle, and Whitner, Scott, and Wilson backing up nickle, dime, SS and FS.
7th I'm looking forward to Chan with another year under his belt. Looking forward to Spiller getting some more touches. Moving the DE and LBs around alot under Wanstash and Buddy Nix making a few small deals that pick us up just 1 or 2 more draft picks (even if it's as low as a 4th rounder).
Sorry for all the spelling errors and missing letters. Typing all this from my phone. Hope u all enjoy my high hopes for the season.

Damn it. Am I the only one that watched all 11 minutes of that thinking there would be something else?
-
Looking at pics of him and hearing of his size it reminds me a ton of Andre Johnson. The guy is huge. If Easley even has half of that game he's already better than every reciever we have with the exception of Stevie. IMO Evans days are numbered as a Buffalo Bill. The guy wants way too much money for only running deep.
Our future starting wrs will be:
Stevie Johnson
Marcus Easley
David Nelson
With Jones, Parrish, and Rosevelt fighting for time. I love this btw.

Are these the double stitch official jerseys? Or iron on numbers? Or the cheap single stitch with the multi-colered single layer numbers made from that plasticy material?
-
DT- Troup
DE- Williams
DE- Dareus
OLB- Merriman
ILB- Shepard
ILB- Poz
OLB- Moats
CB- Williams/McKelvin
CB- Florence
SS- Searcy/Williams
FA- Byrd

Very good point. Too many close games this year that were decided by less than a score that could/should have tuned out differently if they held onto the ball more. The thing I lime is you could see us winni g possibly 4 more games last year if we could just get that right. Then there was the Pitt game :-( I feel were really in a track for success if some small thi gs get straightened out. May e not this year, but I think 2012 we WILL make the playoffs. This year is another learning year. And great if we make it, but I don't think anyone would be extremely upset if we didn't.

Amazing how many of you hate him but I am SURE listen to him..just man up and admit it...he IS getting his ratings from somewhere
It is true. Myself included. I absolutely hate Cowherd. He is the biggest bandwagon fan I've heard of on the radio. Unfortunately, if you want to listen to sports in Buffalo on the radio you don't have many options.

I saw a special on the afc east about a week ago. At first they ripped us for not taking Miller or a QB with our pick, also saying Dareus did t fit our scheme for a 3/4.
Then at a later time, they ripped the Broncos for not taking Dareus when he was available, at the same time saying they are also converting to the 3/4.
Point is: NFL Network "so called" experts are absolute jokes and don't make sense.

Let's beat a dead horse. Anyone want to comment on JP while we're at it?
I was just about to comment about how Rob Johnson didn't get a fair shake

I will never understand why Donovan gets abused in the media the way he does. He comes across as a perfectly nice guy. Hopkins even conceded as much in that pointless diatribe. The most controversial thing Donovan has done is endorse Campbell's Chunky Soup, but with the scrutiny he gets you would think he was an ardent Nazi sympathizer.
Booed by his fans (although it is a known fact that Eagles fans are simply bad human beings and would jeer newborn kittens and puppies if afforded the opportunity), called out by Limbaugh, tossed under the bus by T.O., dumped by the Eagles, benched by the Skins, pulled by Shanahan in the last 2 mins of a close game in favor of Rex Grossman and his superior physical conditioning, and now blasted by a boxer with no provocation? Say what you want about Donovan the football player- maybe he does lack the edge needed to win a Super Bowl, has accuracy issues at times - but why the personal attacks?
If it looks like crap, and smells like crap, then most likely it's crap. With all the personal attacks over the years, one has to wonder if maybe Donovan isn't the good ole boy that everyone males him out to be. Inside the locker rooms he was kicked off the Eagles and the Skins, by 2 different (most likely) HOF coaches, and alienated by his HOF WR. I know, say all you want about TO, but when he was here in Buffalo we saw first hand how things get blown out of proportion by the media regarding him and his issues. Something just seems really fishy about McNabb after really thinking about it.
-
I agree that Hopkins is an assclown and shouldn't be allowed to speak in public. Ever!!! But McNabb is a joke of a QB in my opinion. He was a direct product of Andy Reids system in Philly with average skill. My biggest response se to McNabb lovers is how he was huffing and puffing with the game on the line in his only SuperBowl with plenty of time to come away with a win. And that's after he lost how many NFC championship games? 5? Even TO played on a recently broken leg and had an amazing game.
Then there's the stupidity of not knowing that overtime is limited in the pros. The guy stinks in big games.

Great article. Thanks SJBF

CJ should easily double that this season
Thanks Senator. When I said the 1500 yards I actually meant from scrimage and not all purpose. I think CJ is gonna have a great year. Time will tell and If I really wanted to be pessimistic I could always say he sucks and will never be an every down back like so ma y but I think he's gonna be something special. And I think This year will just scratch the surface of his potential. I can honestly see him being as dominant under Gailey as a Chiefs team with Priest Holmes.
-
We could only wish that DJ would give us draft picks for Kelsay. Unfortunately for us, DJ isn't making a single decision in Cleveland. So chance are we won't be getting squat. I agree with Donte though. He may be going to Cleveland.
-
CJ will be shot out of a cannon this year. I think that 1500 all purpose yards is about right. Time will tell, but I have a hunch big things are going to happen this year.
-
Could be the players didn't have much of a say. Or it could be that Buffalo gets no love.

Um...... That was 47 seconds I'd like to have back in my life. I could have been watching grass grow or something more exciting. And why on earth is there a Sabres thread on a Bills fan site? And why on earth is anyone even talking about the all mighty and powerful Sabres when they have been removed from play? And why on earth do peoe really care about hockey? I'll never understand these things. It's comments like "Sabres games are so much more energenic than Bills games" that make me want to punch a baby. 19k people < 74k people all day and everyday. And I don't care if all the people in RWS are silent, it's still more than the wine and cheese crowd at HSBC. I HATE HOCKEY!!!!! At least u til the football season is over.
Just got my Bills jersey order

Actually it was a guy that I've tailgated near for years. I drink with him on a regular basis on Sunday mornings. He still talks about how he shouldn't have sold it. Oh well live and learn right? Lol
