I'm in 203.
Oh. Then I don’t think that is what the call was for. But maybe. Are those clubs?

Dang, I missed a call from my Legends rep on Monday. Called her back and left a message. It's Wednesday and she hasn't called back yet. Was that my call to schedule?
Not sure but what section? I moved recently to 237 from 229 and haven’t received my call yet. Pretty sure they are hitting people up on the visitors sideline right now in the opposite section from 237.

Then you can say that about any team in league. Jacksonville for sure as they play a home game every year in London. With the new stadium on the way I am not going to worry about what might happen 15-20 years from now. I could be taking a dirt nap for all I know in 15-20 years.
Never said it couldn’t affect any other team. I’m just giving my opinion of what will happen here. Buffalo is not long for the NFL imo.

Apparently, it’s not just a question of paying back the money as there are other stipulations. I’ll get around to reading the entire relocation clause eventually, but this article in the news a few weeks ago is a good outline.
I don’t pay for the news so it’s blocked to me. But I’m not saying it’s likely, I’m saying it’s possible which it seems they are agreeing with. I just think within 15-20 years some city will blow the new owners away with an offer they can’t refuse. And when I say new owners, I fully believe the Pegulas won’t be in the picture anymore as they are already open to selling portions away now. It will o my get worse in years to come. JMO.

So whoever the owner is in 15 years will be saying to NY state they have to put a roof on the stadium or we’re leaving.
No. They’ll just leave

Well, the lease for the new stadium ties them here for 30 years. So there’s that. But I haven’t read the “out” clause if there is one, so perhaps they can break it earlier.
Pretty sure after like 10 years it’s significantly less than the $850m payback. Which imo is absolutely nothing to some rich billionaire owner. Who will likely be getting a free stadium in a new city like Austin

I think the problem people aren’t seeing with no dome is I think in 20 years or less the Bills will be the only non dome stadium in cold weather.
We will see what happens. Maybe there will be renovations in 20 years that puts a dome on it.
In about 20 years the Bills will be moving to some other city. Leaving us with a $1.7B stadium for UB to play in

I wonder who is leaking all this Thomas stuff. Somebody definitely wants him to drop. To me, the labrum isn't a big deal. Also to me its the top three...then Thomas Jr. in his own class. The argument can be made that Worthy may be in his own class because he is unique. Then I think it is everybody else.
Probably a team that legit doesn’t want BTJ because of his issues. Locker room issues. Shoulder issues. Plus I heard he punched his babysitter when he was 7

I'm betting this is a formality as the board will almost undoubtedly pile on Thomas here. My real vote would be not to move that high for any of these guys.
I agree. Maybe we should re-poll and ask again if anyone wants to move up. Pretty sure it would be close.

My god man, why sperm?!
Got another way to make someone go faster? It’s been proven. Why do you think Usain Bolt was so fast. It wasn’t HGH, it was Puma Sperm.
1 minute ago, H2o said:Thomas ran a 4.33, which is really fast by the way, but is 45lbs heavier than Worthy.
No shoulder injury. Plus I heard that Thomas is not a good locker room guy
1 minute ago, KDIGGZ said:The better question is, how will it be obtained? And will it be videotaped?
They videotape it for scientific purposes. They also have vids of Aaron Donald getting Gorilla Sperm

Based on this it could be possible Brian Thomas would be available at 28 anyhow or maybe we trade up like 2-3 spots like usual to get our guy if they really did target him
That’s why you make the move for Worthy. BTJ is the smokescreen all along. It’s SPEED they want. We’ll call him The Flash. He’ll be injected with Puma sperm before every game. No DBs will have a chance at him

Worthy is definitely the pick here. Can’t teach speed. Hot, nasty, badass speed

I don't see any scenario the Commanders trade out of this pick. But for this exercise, I get it. Though I would have taken Penix instead of McCarthy.
Beauty is in the eye of the evaluator....
Picks galore. It would've been fun to see this draft play out.
I actually like Pennix quite a bit and would have taken him at 12. Problem was I thought I was going to get jumped for both these guys. So I made the pick I made.

It sure is! If you want to draft a crappy QB
This obviously all comes down to the GMs evaluations of the QBs. I just think they’ll seriously regret passing on Maye.
@mragsno offense. We just have different views of this QB class and Drake Maye in particular.
None taken. I’m not in love with McCarthy either. But I do like the extra picks I got

I’d be 100% all for this. Get 2 first rd Wars to hold it down for at least the next 5 years. Get a starting S and then your starting DT who will be a wrecker for the foreseeable future.
I also line Speights. Don’t know anything about Henderson.

***Trade Alert***
The Chicago Bears have traded the 9th pick in the 2024 NFL.
Commanders receive:
#9 (1350)
Bears receive:
#12 (1200)
#100 (100)
#121 (52)
with the 9th pick in the 2024 NFL draft, the Washington Commanders select J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan.
the Commanders feel great trading back, picking up extra picks this year and next while still getting one of the QBs they eyed all along. Like we announced earlier, we are more than just a QB away from contending, this gives us our guy as well as the extra picks to surround him with players that can make a difference. I knew I may need to trade back up to sneak ahead of Min or LV to get our guy. We’re completely fine with giving up some later round picks here.
fwiw, I liked Maye, and Daniels more, and would have taken them at 2 but I didn’t love either of them so much that I didn’t feel good about getting McCarthy, AND the extra picks
@TPS and the NYJ are on the clock.

Yeah but Payton just took him to keep his wife busy so he could really get his team back on track again. He plans on using Russell Wilsons old stadium office as his personal apartment until things get back on track. His wife might be lonely.
Just now, TBBills Fan said:But we also know for sure Washington isn't trading, in fact if they are trading they are most likely giving up picks to move back up in rd 1 for a tackle.
The most intrigue in the draft is Denver, minn and Vegas and you totally robbed us of that with your Madden trade!
lol. Ok. Got it.

The points added up. And we do know for sure Payton and Denver want a QB.

Well. Technically the 3 QBs went 1,2,3 regardless which was expected. And let’s be honest, if you don’t think there’s going to be some early trades going on in this draft IRL your crazy.

Welp, there goes the big 3 receivers and any dreams of the Bills trading up for one of them in this mock.
I can't wait for one of them to fall out of the top 10 on Thursday night, the Bills still don't trade up, and everyone loses their minds (me included)
Just a heads up, I will be AFK from 3:30p est to around 5:30p. I can still review trades in my DM's, but may not be able to update the main page
I agree. I think at least 1 makes it NEAR the 9th to 10th pick. And if that’s the case I see a lot of people trying to move mountains to get one.

Personally I think Odunze will be the 2nd WR taken. I’ve heard from people I trust that many teams have him as either the top overall WR or 2nd. And more isn’t being made about it as people want him to slide to them or to a place they can trade for him.
He has the best ball skills in the draft and is the kind of guy who can be open even when not open. Basically a QBs best friend type receiver.
I also believe Odunze will end up being the best WR on the draft. Not taking anything away from MHJ or Nabors. Just my opinion though. However I also believe he has the potential to be the one falling to the 10th pick or so. And because of that, if he did get near 10 if I was the Bills I’d be looking to move up.

Only because of his off-the-field stuff. He was heralded as a potential 1st Rounder prior to.
While I generally agree with you and remember that. But 10+ years ago is rough to remember so I looked it up and saw this on his Wiki page
“Prior to the 2012 season, Mathieu was ranked as the third best cornerback prospect in the upcoming 2013 NFL draft by NFL analyst Chad Reuter. On November 29, 2012, Mathieu stated his intentions to enter the 2013 NFL Draft.[24] Mathieu attended the NFL Combine and completed all of the combine and positional drills. On March 28, 2013, Mathieu attended LSU's pro day, but chose to stand on his combine numbers and only performed positional drills.[25] He was projected to be a second or third round pick by the majority of NFL draft experts and scouts. At the conclusion of the pre-draft process, Mathieu was ranked as the tenth best cornerback prospect in the draft by DraftScout.com“
but that’s besides the point. Because I’m fully remembering him being more worthy of a possible 1st rd pick. I remember I wanted him (not in the 1st rd). But the facts are still out there that both of these guys were considered sure high picks (if not for off field issues), not some tweeners that don’t have a position. Mathieu is another one that got drafted and never changed positions from Safety after entering the league. He’s been on multiple teams and still continues to be a S. And I would argue there isn’t a S in this draft that is worthy of a first rd pick
