    I went Kam Kinchens.

I feel like we need a young guy and Kam is tough, smart and has good anticipation.

However, there are about 3 other guys on that list Id be happy with. Jenkins, Fiske or Lassiter.

I would absolutely HATE a RB on day 2....but Allen is a specimen.

If we didn’t sign so many DTs already I’d vote for Fiske. But I agree. Like Kinchens here. However I could wait u til later and hope for someone like Oledapo or Hicks also.

Or for those that think we need a S and a LB, I’d go with Williams and get a little bit of both at the same time.

Thats the last wr anywhere near the value for the Bills pick for anyone wishing for a double up at the spot.

Yup. I really like Polk. Not nearly as much as some of the others. But he is definitely the last guy on my list for a while.

  3. With the 58th pick in the NFL draft the Green Bay Packers select….

    Ja’Lynn Polk, WR, Washington

thought about going WR with the last pick but all my first choices were gone. I’m continuing with the goal of surrounding my young QB with weapons and protection.

sorry for the delay. Was mid flight for a few hours.

I have 21 firsts and 5 1st/2nd borderlines. As a reminder I had 11 firsts in 2023. Safe to say I like this class a lot more.

EDIT: should add we have had 10 guys picked already I have round 3 grades on. But none that I think are completely ridiculous picks. And one pick (my own) on a guy I haven't graded for my board.

I’m guessing you aren’t interested in providing us with your remaining 12 second rounders?

Lol, this is just wrong. The stadium will be ONLY season tickets as it currently is. Now if you’re saying people will purchase tickets on the SECONDARY market at a higher percentage than they do now, that’s possible. The Bills entire stadium though will be sold with season tickets.

Ty. Some people still get it

I am surprised there would be a decent number of Red Sox fans in WNY. Given the hatred for the Pats and even the Sabres and Bruins have had a decent rivalry over the years. NY and Boston don't mix sports wise.

I’ve always been a believer of Yankees fan or everyone else. But it really seems like the Red Sox have created a base for themselves

In all the wailing and gnashing of teeth this off-season, the reality is we really have just two “needs” right now:  WR and S.  And even safety is questionable given Edward’s coming on board.

I tend to believe Beane when he talks.  And he said the roster now is not what it will be in September.  He also said the team needs to get more explosive.  So I look for either a big move up to get one of the top 3 WRs, or a smaller move up in around 1 to get a kid that can take the roof off with speed.  Then maybe a S, maybe a quick edge guy.  Maybe a big RB late.  But whomever will be a guy with however Beane wants to define explosive.

100% I think they had pretty much filled every need in FA that we had other than backups. These are late round picks and undrafted rookies imo. Maybe some vets that waited too long and camps are about to start and they sign for vet min deals.

I think he absolutely had a plan in place with the draft picks and trading Diggs. He’s making a splash at WR. Whatever that is we’ll find out

In 2010, the Jets waiting list was over 10,000 deep.

PSL's sold for $25,000 each at the 50 yard line.

7 years later, those same $25,000 PSL's were for sale for $4,500. That's only 2 years after going 10-6.

    Economics is undefeated.

Ok cool. I don’t agree with your opinion. We’re not the jets. This isn’t 2010 or 2017.

This is undoubtably true in my opinion. A 60,000 seat stadium in Buffalo will sell out.

But that has nothing to do with PSL prices.

    Got it. Cool

I'm sure they will sellout the first few seasons as long as they are good. I have my doubts about wait lists and enough PSLs filling the stadium. Yeah that's what is happening now but that's with lower average ticket prices and no PSLs.

It’s been argued over and over again on here. Let’s just say I don’t agree with your opinion. The place will be sold out for the next 10+ years

You should be able to get around 25-40% of what you paid for them at the 5 year mark.

    I think your batchit crazy.

again, if the place is sold out and there’s a waiting list. People will be paying pro-rated PSL prices at the very least.

but again, you’ll have used them for XX amount of time, so getting something back is fine

  11. I’ll be traveling all day today. I have a layover in Denver. Should only be unavailable for the next 3-4 hrs. I imagine it won’t get to my next pick by then, but if it does, it shouldn’t be too long until I land. So if I’m taking forever to make a pick that’s why. Shouldn’t be more than the 3hr max tho.

You can get playmakers and game changers without trading up to the top ten. You just can. And this is a year for WRs when it looks like there are likely to be some game changers available in the 20s and probably even into round two, maybe even round three.

As for not many holes, who's our LB depth? Do you really think the interior OL is solid with a guy who hasn't played more than a few dozen snaps at center since high school playing center? LG looks a bit questionable as well. Neither of the guys we've got lined up to play safety right now has ever settled in as a starter consistently in any of the teams they've been on. And our pass rush does NOT look good right now with last year's leading sacker gone.

We've got some real spots to fill. This lineup isn't a disaster, but if they don't fill some of these gaps and depth needs as well, we'll see the results on the field.

Well. I believe they 100% have their starters at just about every position right now. Other than maybe Safety. But honestly, they could wait until rd 4 to grab one, and if they aren’t sold on them as a starter opposite Rapp, there’s still an giant list of FAs out there that will likely be signing for close to vet min contract after the draft rolls around and camps are about to start.

They have their starters on the DL and the OL. Of anything they are looking for backups. But i think Beane has realized you cannot have higher quality backups to spots that generally don’t get a lot of playing time instead of playmakers.

yes you COULD get one later in the 20s. But the facts are that the top 3 are regarded as much better prospects than the next 5 guys. And after that there’s a drop off even more. If Beane thinks one of these guys can make a difference for the next 5+ years he might pull the trigger.

and I’d argue that a true #1 WR is way more important a backup OG, a starting Safety, and a rotational DE put together. And if you posted a poll on this site, I’d bet you anything you want. That the majority would agree.

On this I totally agree. On your other point, it's not so much that we have that many holes, we just don't have enough elite players. I see other AFC teams with top five players in key positions. Outside of Josh and Milano, we have none. Granted Josh makes up for a world of woes, but we need a few more playmaker/game changers to keep pace in the AFC IMO.

Well. I’d argue getting into the top 10 would almost guarantee your getting one at WR which is the most important t piece on Offense behind Josh

    Likely #2 or 3.

I agree. But if he’s got a hard on for Odunze I could see it happening.

I really don’t believe they have as many holes as others want to point out. If there was a year to make your move for a playmaker and game changer at the position, this is the year.

  15. 100%. He doesn’t make a move like this unless he’s got something planned. I really think it’s one of 3 options.

    1. He packages a whole bunch to move up around the 10th pick for Nabors or Odunze

    2. He packages less to move into the teens for Thomas Jr.

    3. He packages some to move back Into the 2nd rd to grab a 2nd WR after having already picked one in the 1st rd.

Definitely never said that. They will sell it out.

Could be. PSL’s will plummet regardless.

Jets had a 10,000 person waiting list a couple years ago while PSL’s were selling for penny’s on the dollar.

One problem with resale, outside of no intrinsic value, is that people don’t want to go get a $10k personal loan for used PSL’s that now have less time remaining of them.

If you’re talking 12 years down the road. You may be correct. If you’re talking after Allen is gone you may be correct. If you’re talking when we’re back in the basement, you may be correct. If your talking 3 years after the place opens and Allen jist won a Super Bowl, your probably incorrect.

Yes I get that it’s an improbability, but that does not mean it’s impossible. And I still stand by you don’t actually need to get full value for them based on resale if you had them XX number of years already. Of course it’s likely you don’t make every cent back. But you also used them for those years.

If he gets 80 receptions, he will definitely be over 1000 yards.  He is too good after the catch not to be.  Cole was amazing at getting to a spot and making the play to move the chains.  He wasn't the YAC guy that Shakir is, Cole was easy to take down and tackle.

Agree on the comparison or lack of. I am just not sold on him reaching 1k yet. Diggs is the only one to do it since John Browns first year on the team when he was the #1 and barely surpassed 1k with 1,060 yards.
