If he gets 80 receptions, he will definitely be over 1000 yards.  He is too good after the catch not to be.  Cole was amazing at getting to a spot and making the play to move the chains.  He wasn't the YAC guy that Shakir is, Cole was easy to take down and tackle.

Agree on the comparison or lack of. I am just not sold on him reaching 1k yet. Diggs is the only one to do it since John Browns first year on the team when he was the #1 and barely surpassed 1k with 1,060 yards.

With the 43rd pick in the 2024 NFL draft the Atlanta Falcons are pleased to select Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State.

Having addressed the dline in round 1, we’re adding another huge target for Cousins on the outside. Few teams will have 2 corners with the size to stop Drake and Keon in the red zone. Combined with Pitts and Robinson and we’ve assembled an excellent supporting cast of skill players for our new franchise QB.

@LEBills is now on the clock.

Not a fan of Coleman that much but I respect the thought process. Nice pick. Sounds like a pretty solid O

#1- she can sell it (so thats true)...if she meets certain conditions....see the agreement "Transfers"

#2- there are markets already for every other nfl team. it's a virtual certainty there will at some point, be one for bills PSL's. The bills are just saying, we have nothing to do with those aftermarkets.

#3- Dallas PSL's do sell for more than the initial fee (so thats true). but they are more the exception than the rule. check on the browns & jets for a more likely outcome that can be for the bills PSL's.

#4- the important thing to the bills is that whoever you transfer the PSL to.....signs a newly created iron clad PSL  agreement between the bills and the new Licensee.

I don’t think there’s going to be any shortage of a wait list for the new stadium once it’s built. I also see people buying these PSLs from someone for as much as they paid or possibly even more depending on the wait list. Time will tell on all that obviously.

  4. I 100% believe Beane has a plan in place that involves trading our 1st or 2nd next year. If Odunze or Nabors falls to 10 then I could see them making a play there. If not I firmly believe they are prepared to part with a 2nd next year to move into teens for Thomas Jr. Beane didn’t acquire that 2nd next year and plan to not use it this year when they now have a need at WR and in a great WR class. He’s using it to move up his year. Either to move up in the first round or gain a 2nd pick in the second round. Bank on it.

Once you live outside of WNY you realize just how small the Buffalo area really is. Be glad you have two major sports franchises. Theres no way it could support a Major League Baseball team. No way.

Could have gotten away with basketball (yes I know, used to be) up until about 10-15 years ago. Then the NBA took off and became very rich.

If you are financing PSLs then perhaps you should not be purchasing them. I take it as a lost expense…somewhat like purchasing a fun car that you intend to keep until it dies. After 10 years it’s worth much less and that will probably occur with the PSL. It’s a bonus if it’s worth anything after a while but the benefit of enjoying the seats is like the benefit of enjoying the vehicle while you have it.

Unless you sell them the season after they win the Super Bowl and double your money (yes I know not likely, but one can dream) because everyone will want to get in that stadium at that point.

Good pick and spot for Sweat.

Honestly, I was torn between him and someone else. But didn’t think he would make it to my next pick which is 16 away I think. Besides, couldn’t get over the fact that I think he’s one of the best players in this draft and and a very key position. I couldnt pass up the idea of missing out on him for another guy that I don’t think will be one of the best in the draft.

  8. with the 41st pick in the 2024 NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers select:

    T’Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas

choosing BPA on my board here. Believe he’s going to be an absolute monster for many years. Im a fan of beefing up the trenches and I believe I’ve done that with these first 2 picks.

This Mock is highlighting my concern about waiting until 60 or trying to trade up from 60 for WR.

I do believe, as this exercise has shown, that 9-10 WR's are going to go by Pick 40. I would be disappointed if the 1st WR we took was outside of my Top 9 guys or so, which are the 9 WR's selected by 39 in this Mock. I'd also be disappointed to give up the Diggs pick or other '25 2nd for anything outside of my Top 4 or 5 guys.

We have to take a guy at 28 (thankfully we did in this mock), trade up from 28, or do a very small trade down from 28 (no later than 35) at the absolute most - in my opinion.

A agree with this. Although I don’t think more than 6 going the first rd. I do think a run will happen right away on day 2

The thing is Buffalo was that close to creating a "Patriot Place" decades before the idea ever dawned on Robert Kraft. This was supposed to include a hotel and retail development. Who knows what the team's fortunes would have been playing in a dome since 1972? It would have been that much closer to Rochester as well.

Not really that much closer to Rochester. Because there’s no exit off the 90 to get to Lancaster easily. Have to get off at Transit rd/Clarance exit and drive up transit and hit every light along the way. Actually probably about the same to stay on the 90 and take it right up to the 219 and get to the stadium in OP. If anything it’s not much different. But I am also sure there would have been some exits by now off the 90 had that happened. Just never did.

I know you've already addressed it some extent, but of the 43 WRs I researched, his analytics are nearly the worst in the class and of the 86 WRs I've looked at in the previous two years, only one player that's even close to Mitchell's score has had any production (maybe two if you consider Tyquan Thornton to be a success).

In both his Georgia and Texas film, there's an alarming number of reps where he just doesn't try even when he's meant to be a valuable part of the play.

He's also one of the worst in the class in terms of running after the catch.

And nitpicking a bit more, he doesn't fight for the ball in the air particularly well yet (but he does obviously have the size and athleticism to project success there someday).

It’s because of this that I believe that a team may take a risk on him. Boom or bust. He clearly has the ability to be a very good WR.

however it’s because of this, paired with his attitude/mindset that tells me that the Bills will stay away from him anyway. It’s why I didn’t choose him in the earlier options. Of course once it was between him and Legette I choose him. I’m not a fan of Legette. At least not at 28.

    Poll is here:

It's down to ad mitchell or xavier legette.

How much longer do we wait? Seems like AD is the pick. Are you planning on a time or a specific number of votes? Just curious if this thing will get moving again tonight or not.

I am probably more on the train for Brian Thomas in the top 15 than I am going up to say 9 which I think is the likeliest spot. I do think there is a good possibility that Rome Odunze could slip and I would love to get him.

If the Bears want to do it, I think you have to add in this years draft picks since they dont have many.  A lot of people suggest the Rich Hill Model now.

    Bears pick:

    9 (Worth 387 points)

    2025 4th Rounder(Worth 15 points)

    Total: 402 Points

    Bills trade:

    28(209 points)

    2025 1st Rounder(120 points)

    2024 4th Rounder(19 points)

    2024 5th Rounder(13 Points)

    2025 3rd Rounder (50 points)

    Total: 411 points

This would give the Bills the opportunity to draft Rome Odunze at 9

This would leave the Bills in the 2024 draft with: 9, 60, 4th rounder, 2 5th rounders, 2 6th rounders, and a 7th rounder....this leaves the Bills with 8 draft picks

Next Year: 2nd(Vikings), 2nd (Bills) 4th, 4th(Davis Comp pick), 4th(Bears Trade) 5th, 5th (Floyd Comp pick), 6, 6(Basham Trade)......this leaves the Bills with 9 draft picks next year.

I think this is a very plausible scenario for Rome if he falls.

I would do this in a heartbeat for one of the top 3 guys. Would also give up a little less for 15-18ish and go for Thomas.

Yeah that’s correct. That lot was sold last year or just before that. I didn’t remember the exact amount. Something like 5m. Pretty sure it was bought by the Bills. They use it as their employee parking on game day now I believe. Because the employee parking was across the Abbott. But we know thats not an availability now.

I'm not banking on some sell the farm trade. Maybe Beane plans on using that extra 2nd as well as next yrs. 1st to create some action in the 2nd and 3rd rds.

I'd much rather have 4 picks there to work with( in addition to 28) instead of selling out for one guy.....who could tear an ACL going to the podium.

I’m not saying one way or another what I want to happen. I’m simply stating that a week ago I wasn’t sure they would go with WR at all in the first 3 rounds. Now I think they absolutely do in rd 1

According to OnX app it looks like Erie County owns the Mud Lot, but that information is just a download from the county records and those take some time to reflect property transfers.

Maybe because of the gifting of property for the new stadium there was something else with it. Idk. You’re looking at the lot behind the field house right?

That’s not a bad strategy. I think that they’re set on trying to get one of the top 3. They want a surefire number 1 on a rookie deal. They can use next year’s 1 and one of those 2’s (if need be) with whatever mid round picks to secure one.  Something like: 28, pick 133, ‘25 1st & ‘25 2nd to get to 4,5, or 6. You can maybe pull out the 2nd next year if you wait until 9.

Would the Cardinals take 28, a 2025 1st & 2nd and a 4th this year for 4? The Bills could still grab another WR in the 4th.

The draft could start something like:
    - MHJ

    - d lineman

    - Javon Baker or McMillian or Polk

I honestly didn’t think we would go WR until rd4 a week ago. Now not only think they will go with a wr in rd1 I believe they make a crazy move and try for one of the top 3-4 guys
