  1. That may be the single smartest thing you've ever said here.
  2. He's not talking out of his ass at all. The misses against Cleveland and Pitt (especially Pitt - it was a chip shot) were big time pressure misses. Lindell has gotten better - much, much better - but those two were huge misses.
  3. hahaha, ohhh, another "Maybin should be playing X" thread. I wish the people who said his skills would "shine" when we went to a 3-4 would man up on the Maybin front. Again, no accountability on this board at all. He is a bust. Many of us knew it before he was drafted. The question is, how did the front office, people that are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars, sometimes millions of dollars, not know what we knew??
  4. Already used New Orleans, both them and Baltimore are gimmies. Would love to save Baltimore for another time, but I'm too chicken-**** to pick a 1-4 SF team on the road...although Seattle intrigues me ('Zona sucks) and Denver won't lose at home to Oakland. But Baltimore it is.
  5. Thanks for the list. For someone who doesn't watch much college ball, this is certainly food for thought (no sarcasm intended).
  6. This! Thank you! I'd kill for Drew Bledsoe in his prime right now. I don't know why everyone is making the comparison like it's a bad thing.
  7. Trent wasn't a bad guy, just not a great QB, regardless of whether or not its Adrian Wilson's fault. San Francisco would have been a great place for him to land as a backup for a few years before he completely washes out of the league, so I'm sorry that didn't work out. Wherever he lands I wish him the best of luck...as long as it's not against us. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rumors/post/Five-teams-claiming-Bills-QB-Edwards-?urn=nfl-272924
  8. I hope Levi showed more in practice than he did in the pre-season games. He didn't show a single positive aside from that strong arm of his...
  9. I picked on the website like you posted. NE over Buffalo. I didn't realize all 50 people were supposed to reply in this thread individually. But look on the website, I did pick NE. I also picked New Orleans for next week. http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/survival/14906/15/picks?week=4
  10. If Mallett's not there at #1? Is he being taken in the NHL draft or something we're not aware of? Even that doesn't make any sense...the NHL draft is after the NFL draft!!
  11. Don't hurt yourself spending ten seconds looking to see if this was already posted or anything...
  12. Lee Evans is going to be 30 soon. I actually like this idea, especially for the right compensation. He's been a good soldier, time to let him go. He'll lose his speed one of these days and we'll get nothing for him. He's not a tall possession guy that can hang around forever like TO. He's not doing anything to help the team win (through no fault of his own, of course). Let him go.

  14. Again, go back to previous posts by the OP and you'll understand. Until you do, there's not much I can say that will help you to understand. Yet somehow it's "not even debatable." Who cares what you found more entertaining? What the hell does that have to do with anything?? Losman sucked, Edwards sucked, end of !@#$ing story. This thread is beyond pointless...
  15. Yeah, maybe I could add more to the forum by openly yearning for the days of J.P. Losman! LOL
  16. You must be new here. Otherwise you would have seen the OP's previous posts over the last year and agreed. He's not an idiot for this one ridiculous suggestion, but rather for a string of them.
  17. Hahaha, oh man. Thanks for proving your idiocy on this one, all on your own to boot. Being a revisionist historian must be fun. Maddog69 is right - just because Edwards sucks doesn't mean Losman could play. Losman sucked as well. Then again, considering the source I am not surprised...
  18. This is what we were trying to tell the Brohm lemmings all along, but none of them wanted to hear it. Instead they talked about how great Matt Flynn was and how Brohm just didn't "get his chance." Please.
  19. Why should we give it a break? Four teams from two games in one season without the salary cap is basically the definition of statistically insignificant. Ignore the fact that both Tampa and KC beat a pathetic Cleveland for one of their victories (narrow victories at that) and are still a long shot to even sniff the playoffs. You want to go into long-term outlooks for small market teams? Look no further than baseball. Or the NFL before the salary cap with the 49ers and Cowboys dynasties. Truth be told, I'm getting a little sick of the NFL with it's ridiculous penalties and it's desparation to continue to grow and grow and grow (as evidenced by the new draft format and the insistence on playing games abroad every year). The elimination of the salary cap would finally put the nail in the coffin for me. As to your players: Gregg Williams - terrible head coach. Sure he's a great defensive coordinator, but that wasn't his position here, was it? Alex Van Pelt - what? Anthony Hargrove - a guy I wish we had stuck with, despite the legal troubles. Funny though how people are dying to jettison Lynch for similar transgressions. Jabari Greer - a nice CB on a team loaded with them. Took a few years extra to develop, but his ceiling isn't nearly as high as McKelvin's. Richie Incognito - could he play tackle and none of us knew it??
  20. Did any of the Levi Brown homers actually watch him in the pre-season? He was terrible. Totally lost, no accuracy, no touch. Was 5-for-12 for 38 yards going into the Detroit game and didn't help his stock there with a terrible pick in the end zone. Levi Brown defined the word "project." Good luck to him elsewhere, but he won't be a starting QB in this league.
  21. That was me, yesterday or the day before. Hasslebeck is a free agent at the end of this year and with Seattle giving up the farm for Whitehurst I think this is Hasselbeck's last year up there. By the way, Jason Campbell didn't look too good yesterday. I'll man up and say for a fourth or fifth rounder I was willing to bring him in for a look.
  22. I think you and bills44 are the only ones who think Revis sat out the entire game after that play just to save face from that one play.
  23. Watch the replay of the first pick. Parrish was open for the first down but Edwards didn't see him apparently. Shouldn't even have been thrown to Johnson.
