Lots of failed QBs in the NFL won the Heisman and won at every level. Heisman is just not a good indicator of success for NFL. Stats are an objective way to look at performance. By most measures, Tebow comes up way short. That is unless 4th Qtr QBR becomes a legit way to measure QBs

I wonder if the current odds represent some averaging based on possible QB scenarios. For instance, is there a differential if Cassel or Tyrod were to start?

Your almost fanatical support for a wannabe NFL QB is interesting and hence merits a call out. I believe you've made an appearance on like 99% of the Tebow threads in the past few years ? If you bring up some rational and objective facts on why Tebow should still be considered for a QB position in the NFL, I'm willing to listen. Things like "he just wins" don't count.

Nope . That other poll that you made was phrased in a way that would have forced a lot of people to say "yes". This poll shows that a majority do not see EJ as starter because there are better options already on roster or soon to be acquired by FO.

Dude but he took the Broncos to playoffs in an awful AFC West division and beat the Steelers because LeBeau installed a monumentally bad defensive game plan . He also averaged 48% completions during his NFL career . How can you not see that he is worth another look ?

Realistically, what is the chance of this happening ? Would love to have our long term QB problem solved by an existing QB on our roster. But I don't really see that. I am no fan of Talleywhacker but at least he hasn't shown regression or that deer in headlights look. The Bills defense won't stay together much longer so it is really a must that we have a good QB this season rather than seeing someone flail along and waste an opportunity with what is a pretty talented roster, at least on paper, at this point.

The poll you posted asked if there is a possibility that EJ would be the starter. It didn't ask if he would be. Thats why you got 80%. Stop kidding yourself.

Lol . Thats my bad with the decimals. It actually rounds up to just 1. So EJ would need to be the best QB in the NFL to be at the "top 1% of his profession"

How exactly is EJ in the top 1% of his profession? If each NFL team retains 3 QBs, that means there are 96 total QBs. 1% of 96 is about 10. EJ is not anywhere near being a top 10 QB in the NFL.
