  1. I still say FRANCHIE QB is the #1 need.....and it's not even close. however, if your going to stay with EJ Manuel then you might as well help him by giving him more time to throw and a better running game. you can do that with an OT. my draft scenario: #9 - OT best available if one of robinson, Matthews or lewan. #41- TE Austin seferian Jenkins #73- QB AJ McCarron
  2. what he said. another interesting tidbit. for teams who had one of the first 13 picks in last years draft: 6 teams picked an OL. of those 6 teams, 4 made the playoffs. 7 teams picked something other than an OL. of those 7 teams, ZERO made the playoffs.
  3. what good is a wr when the QB is on his back the 4th most sacks in the league ? #9 - OT best available if one of robinson, Matthews or lewan. #41- TE Austin seferian Jenkins #73- QB AJ McCarron
  4. "I think he's gonna be a hybrid player. He's gonna be able to bring us something as an outside linebacker, but also come off the edge as a defensive end. So his versatility, again, is going to be utilized in this system, that we think is going to be very valuable for us," Whaley said of Lawson. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/buffalo-bills-news/2014/3/14/5508054/buffalo-bills-doug-whaley-linebackers-kiko-alonso-keith-rivers
  5. #1 - chris hairston - cap savings 1.4 mil #2 - doug legursky - cap savings 1.0 mil #3 - erik pears - cap savings 2.9 mil #4 - jerry hughes - cap savings 4.0 mil #5 - lee smith - cap savings 0.7 mil

  8. that 9 mil almost covered 2 starters and a very good nickel back [spikes 3.5, graham 4.0 and rivers 2.5]
  9. I don't blame RB's when 3/5ths [LG, RG, RT] of the O-line is below average. they slightly fixed LG, now go get an OT at #9. unfortunately, chan is/was a much better OC than Hackett.
  10. there is no need to trade up in this draft. in every scenario a stud is available at #9. my preference is to just stay there and pick an OT [bills gave up the 4th most sacks]. if anything, they would be more inclined to trade down and pickup a bonus kiko again. but after the 3 QB's , mack, clowney, watkins, robinson, Matthews and lewan there is a drop off to barr, evans, ebron, gilbert. regarding taylor lewan, most scouts say he is better than all 3 of the OT's that went early last year.
  11. spiller is a stud. he played on two bum wheels last season. when healthy he is elite. the line needs to open a hole or the coaches need to call a few more screen plays to get him into open space.
  12. spikes is a home run signing. a starting "impact" player as one of the top run defenders, filling the biggest area of need/weakness on the defense. expect kiko to play even better on the outside. I also love the corey graham signing.
  13. nice.....fixes HUGE hole in run defense.
  14. in order of my liking: LB spikes K carpenter CB corey graham TE scott chandler RB Anthony dixon LG chris Williams LB keith rivers
  15. if your going to stay with EJ Manuel then you might as well help him by giving him more time to throw and a better running game. you can do that with an OT. my draft scenario: #9 - OT Taylor Lewan or robinson, Matthews if available. #41- TE Austin seferian Jenkins #73- QB AJ McCarron
  16. on the other side there is the "worst" run stop rate for LB's K. Rivers NYG
  17. 4 years / 16 mil seems to be the going rate for ILB's daryl smith in balt and Wesley woodyard with ten just signed for that.
  18. #9 - OT best available if one of robinson, Matthews or lewan. #41- TE Austin seferian Jenkins - can BLOCK and catch. #73- QB AJ McCarron
  19. mayocks top 5 TE's Tight end 1. Eric Ebron, North Carolina 2. Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Washington 3. Jace Amaro, Texas Tech 4. Troy Niklas, Notre Dame 5. C.J. Fiedorowicz, Iowa http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/austin-seferian-jenkins?id=2543683
  20. I got out of it, one of the top 3 OT's.
  21. yea, yea, yea. tim murray of the sabres doesn't give away secrets yet seems to be able to answer questions better without using company pat answers. what's the big deal about saying how much cap room you have left ? i'm assuming he knows exactly within a half million what that number is every single day. I want to like whaley, but so far, the only unit that has improved is special teams.
  22. same ole pat answers.....disappointing. Q: how are the bills on cap space ? Non-Answer: "slim" , "won't phohibit us" Q: did you visit Clemson or texas A&M ? non-answer : "went to 38 schools, too many to mention" one interesting exchange where jaremy or someone figured out doug was at a game where TE Eric Ebron had a big game.
