  3. A friend that visited me a few weeks ago after my transplant had a heart attack just before Christmas. Hr went back in just after to get a pacemaker. His heart stopped and he hardtop be zapped. He said he had an out of body experience.
  4. Quack MD is one of those docs that years ago would not tell a patient with stage 4 lung cancer that he had cancer. Aside: When I fist typed Quack, it changed it to Suck😀
  5. I can attest to that also. The last few moths of my mother's life, she carried out full conversations with all of her deceased siblings (8), parents, her cousin, who stood up at her wedding, and my godmother who was her best friend for over 60 years. Even her surviving sibling who was active and driving until she died about 4 months later. Usually was about 11 PM. No, I did not hear their sides of the conversation.
  6. All vitals in normal range. Creatinine level (kidney health) headed down (right direction). Had a week of PT. Staples (35) should come out Monday. Incision was 10 inches measured on my skin surface.

  8. Molecular Biology. And what I said was from personal experience. I had measles in 1st grade (63-6). Hd rubella (then called the German measles) the next year. As I said, the teacher, would go down the aisle every morning and pull your clothes back to look down your back for the measles. If she saw it, off to the nurse and home for a week. And contrary to what cpu gen ?ers believe , us guys swam in the nude from 6th-12th grade,
  9. Before the vaccine, basically everyone got it. If you didn't et it this year, you likelyl will get it next year. Neve he'd of none dying from it back then.
  10. What a buch of pussies. Back in the 70s we had classes of around 30. Scores were higher. Our class size ('75) was about 2x what it is now. 8 of the teachers in Hamburg are retiring.
  11. I admire whoever was paying for the research and my stipend. I think my dvisor had an NIH and NSF grant. I had am ACS grant for my postdoc at Stanford.
  12. What the hell does your last statement have to do with what I posted and your lack of trading comprehension?
  13. Excellent reading comprehension . I said "My thesis advisor and my fitst pocdoc boss were in Nobel Prize winning labs." My thesis advisor was a postdoc in Arthur Korberg's lab. Kornberg wrote the book on it. I am referenced in the second edition of it. My boss for my first postdoc was in Howard Temin's lab as a grad student when he was awarded the Nobel. The people from Roswell were the Cori's, They won in 1947 for work in glucose metabolism. Also Herbert Haupmann won for crystallography work i the 60s. He was affiliated with a lab in what is now the medical campus ( Buffalo Genneral/Oshei's Children's/Roswell Park/ UB med school).
