No, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that.
there are times we drop a lineman, but usually when we bring pressure from elsewhere.
In the last defensive series in the Chiefs game, Bills had 3 DL and Milano spying on Mahomes. Milano did a delay pass rush on both plays. Neal was brought in as an extra DB.

The game dragged on for so long. Too many commercial timeouts and too long. There was very little flow to the game. The start of the 3rd quarter was crazy. The Bills kicked off, Miami offense went 3 and out and then punted. Next play Allen gets sacked, fumbled, and TD Miami. There was 13:59 remaining in the 3rd quarter. 4 minutes of commercials for 1 minute of game time.

The same was said for Miami's Oline.
You're right about Miami. Armstead ending up playing LT and Robert Hunt played RT. Hunt is pretty good. Ravens only allowed 234 yards against Bengals offense. This should be an advantage for Bills D line.

He missed a lot of plays too. He's nowhere near worth the money he will command this offseason.
I just pray Beane sees it that way...he's a smart guy, so I have confidence he will.
👍
I think you're going to be disappointed in a couple of months.

Lamar is 6 weeks out from an injury that was originally thought to be a 1 or 2 week injury. I think it's fair to wonder what's going on. I think the entire league is wondering what's going on with him.
Lamar gambled on himself this season and he lost. He certainly hasn't done anything that is going to make him more money whenever and wherever he signs his next contract.
I think Lamar is going to cash in. He may be the next Cousins as far as being franchised tagged a couple of times by Ravens at $43 M per season but after that he's free and clear. It seems half the league is looking for a QB1. Some team will pay him crazy money.

Am I correct that the Dolphins are breaking a 14 year playoff drought on Sunday?
Last playoff appearance 2016. Last playoff win 2000.

I'm thinking of going to the game with my old man. Haven't been to one in years. He definitely can't stand for three straight hours. Does basically the whole stadium stand for the entire game or is that just certain sections?
Lower bowl stands. Upper deck sits for the most part.

It's the playoffs. Heck, I'm half expecting Hamlin to strap em on for the Bills. Tua's brains are leaking out of his ears and there's talk he might play.
I'm not saying he should or that its a good idea, but if he has one good hand to carry the ball in and a set of working legs, he's playing.
Playoffs.

Why every year do we have to play the chiefs in KC? Am I wrong? When’s the last time we played them in Buffalo
The year of Covid with no fans

Hopefully NFL will clear everything up before Saturday's games. If it's meaningless for the Bills, I agree rest some of their starters on Sunday.

The opinion of Bengals fans is that Josh Allen has quality weapons I personally don’t think they’re as good as the Bengals weapons
Most Bills fans probably agree with you. A fair number of them are hoping they draft a WR with their 1st pick. Myself included.

Elam is challenging him they’re splitting reps right now you honestly think that Dane is going to be able to hold off a first round draft pick
No, I didn't say nor think that Jackson would hold off Elam going forward. All I said was I think the Bills will re-sign Jackson. I don't think he'll cost that much to keep. Besides if they let him go they'll probably have to draft a replacement.

Made me think of Davis' 98 yard TD against the Steelers. Allen throws the ball from the end zone, with a guy bearing down on him, to the 50 where Davis catches it and runs it in. About 48 air yards and 50 yards after the catch. Bills offense just isn't geared towards YAC. Mostly air yards.

Ranking.
1)Bass (Will probably outlast everyone)
2)Davis (Will leave in FA)
3)Gilliam (already signed extension)
4)Jackson (Will not get to 2nd contract)
5)Epenesa (Will not get to 2nd contract)
6)Moss (not on Bills)
7)Hodgins (might turn out better, but not for the Bills)
8)Fromm (not on Bills)
Why do you believe Jackson won't get a 2nd contract? He'll be an RFA after this season and all the Bills have to do is give him a qualifying offer and possibly match an offer similar to Bates last year. Jackson has been the starter CB1 or CB2 all season. Benford and Elam have never challenged him enough. His play has been uneven this year but it's only year 3 for him. Think the Bills bring him back.

Nice writeup OP. I think the Dolphins problems run a little deeper than Tua. As mentioned above, the schedule became more difficult and Tua's play has gone down. Their play calling is a head scratcher at times. It's a big play offense but they appear too reliant on the big play.
The Jets have some nice pieces but are missing the most important piece. Plus they have players, Quinnen Williams for one, that are going to get paid real soon. Plus they have 3 first rounders from last year's draft (Gardner, Wison, and Johnson) which look like nice additions but how do you retain all of them when their rookie deals run out? Especially if you don't have a franchise QB on the roster.
Patriots are really lacking talent. What current Patriots player would you want instead of the Bills corresponding player? Maybe Kyle Dugger over Damar Hamlin if I have the position correct?

Saw Bills play Eagles when Cornelius Bennett was a rookie. We didn't wear anything with Bills on it. That's a rough crowd. Bennett was all over the field that game. Think it was 1987.

I agree with all of this. I also think we could retain Poyer for 3 years at $10 million a year. If it is a little more, so be it. If we win the Championship, Poyer is a HUGE part of that, let's pay him.
I don't think paying players for past performance is a good thing or the right thing to do. But, Poyer has great years left in the tank and has been special since he got here starting this whole rebuild with McD!
Could you imagine this season without Poyer? The Bills don't have depth at safety. I believe this is what will drive the Bills to re-sign him. Otherwise they have to sign an expensive free agent, which doesn't make sense to me, or spend a high draft pick which I believe the Bills don't want to do either.

How?
It’s not a matter of wanting to keep him I think most of us would like to keep him we can’t keep everybody
If Beane wants him back, he'll make it happen. I actually believe he'll be back. Greg Thompsett from Cover 1 stated awhile back both Allen and Miller's contracts are prime targets of contract restructures to free up cap space. Thompsett said they could free up over $50 million if they wanted (6 - 8 contracts). He doesn't believe they would make all those moves. One more thing about Thompsett - he stated the salary cap could go up quite a bit due to all of the gambling revenue that is pouring in.

I respectfully disagree that the "why" this happened is pertinent here. Here's an example. Gosh golly gee I'm low of funds for Christmas. I think I'll rob a bank. Im justified right? I was layed off from my job and Im broke.
Or even trickier is "That SOB harmed my daughter so now Im going to kick his behind to assuage my anger at the injustice of what she endured."
Guess what folks. Im not a police force member but my guess is that charges would be brought in each of those cases regardless of why they did it. The "why" will be brought up in his defense as a mitigating circumstance and may carry weight as far as reducing punishment if he is found guilty. What happened in the venue isnt i question. It is on Tape.
Lets say he did have a reason that people can empathize with aka defensing his daughters honor. My mother used to tell me "2 wrongs don't make a right" Now instead of one injured party (the daughter) there are now 3.....daughter, victim and assaulter (McGinest) And now the daughter conceivably has to deal with the fact her dad will be sued and charged legally and maybe even losing his job on account of something someone allegedly did to Her. She shouldnt have to carry that weight burden
i had to beg my dad to Not beat down the person who assaulted me. I am so glad he didnt. I would rightly or wrongly felt somewhat responsible.
Let the legal system do their thing and then the civil courts. I call what he did Bogus full stop.
And on tape so ambiguity isn't there. I imagine McGinest will have his day in court unless it settles out of court first.
Willie is facing criminal charges. He can plead guilty or go to trial. No settling out of court on criminal charges. He'll probably get sued and in that situation he can settle out of court.
