I think White will replace Elam. McD prefers experienced guys. Elam is playing well. Never know what Beane might do. As of now, the Bills don't have long term answers at safety. I don't think you trade away young players on rookie deals.

Ethan I'll give you credit for stirring the pot. Already at 6 pages. Tre White is an elite CB. He allows the Bills to run various disguises when he's on the field. Playing him at S would be underutilizing his talent. Benford and Elam are playing really well and I think we're all stoked about that. After the draft, Beane described Benford as a ball hawk. He weighs 210 pounds. I believe initially the Bills thought of him as a safety. That may still be in their plans. Bills have legit CB depth. It's a nice problem.

He alluded to a few things but I wouldnt classify it as a bunch of crap. It was mostly around the COVID Protocols and the front office not having his back more.
Good player for us, and will never forget the guy playing on a broken leg. Despite the COVID stuff, it was obvious his skills were starting to diminish. Glad he gets to spend time with his wife and kids. Never a bad thing to be a 33 year old retired multimillionaire.
Beasley had some good seasons here as a Bill. No doubt. There were a few games where he was the difference. Hopefully he's good with his money.

Didn't he say a bunch of crap when the Bills released him?

Probably his best throw of the day. Also a very key moment in the game. 3rd and 3 on their own 27. The drive that led to the GWFG.

We could see it in the practice videos. It’s likely a pain tolerance thing but he has no explosion. Let him rest. Give Hodgins a game.
I agree. They should sit Davis against the Steelers. See if he's ok for Chiefs.

Yeah, I may be in the minority, but I think Teddy is a quality, if not great, QB.
I think of it as Miami may win, but it is not a "will win". Zach definitely showing up now could cause them some problems.
Bridgewater tends to have killer turnovers but he can move a team downfield. Curious to see how he does.

I've watched that play about 10 times. Just incredible.

Nice writeup. Edmunds and Milano were everywhere. Did anyone notice on the Ravens last drive, 2nd and goal from 2 I believe, the play by 93 Brandin Bryant against the Ravens FB. Just blew him up and shoved him back 2 yards. That FB weighs 310 pounds. Milano stuffed the back for 2 yard loss. Phenomenal play by defense.

Um, Zach Moss' "sub 2 YPC" is 5.2.
Is there a form of math where 5.2 YPC is less than 2?
It's that new math 😁

Agree on the assessment of the Defense. 100%.
Candidly - watch JA17 close. Even with the video game stats he is putting up, "something" appears subtly off. I count a number of throw's where he is just not setting his feet. Last week at the goal line to McKenzie and the throw falls short. Yesterday a couple throws including the lob to Dawson Knox, that actually worked out. Additionally, even though he rolled out and ran for a touchdown, he appears to be lacking the "quick spark quickness" that we are used to seeing the last few years.
Not being overly critical, just sharing a few observations. That "lob" to Knox was probably his best throw of the game. 3rd and 2 from their own 28. That was clutch. The offense may be a little off right now but I'm not looking at 17. I'm looking at guys dropping passes and an uneven running game. He needs more support around him.

I sure I will too, and I have no problem with that opinion, Josh is incredible. Through four games of the season the defense is giving up an average of 14.5 points a game. There aren't too many NFL offenses that can't muster 15 points a week on average. I'm not taking anything away from Josh, just pointing out how amazing this defense is.
🍻
The defense is playing really well. Can't wait to see Jordan Phillips and Ed Oliver back along with Tre. The defense kept the game within reach yesterday allowing the offense to get on track. Josh is a beast no doubt but I also love watching these guys play D.

Might be indication that Ed misses tomorrow, or that we might dress 5 DTs and only 4 DEs.
You may be right. Bills may dress 5 DTs and 5 DEs. I believe Bills only have 8 DBs right now. Poyer, J. Johnson, Hamlin, Lewis, Elam, Jackson, T. Johnson, and Neal. (Benford is out, Hyde IR, White PUP) Joe B said Bills did not elevate Ingram from PS.

There is always an excuse with this team. If you have been a fan long enough you know exactly what I am talking about. Against the Chiefs it was the coin-flip. Against the Pats it was the wind. Against the Dolphins it was the heat. Then we have all the years of the Patriots are cheaters and the refs blew the call. It is ridiculous. Then everyone goes to the airport to meet them when they lose because the Bills have such great fans. Blah blah blah. How about no more excuses and win a championship. This team has a real problem winning close games. They have lost 7 in a row. They are 1-3 in the playoffs in close games. It is a culture of excuse makers. I hate the Patriots but I always respected Belichick and Brady. They don't have a list of excuses every time they lose a game.
We're onto Cincinnati. I mean Baltimore.

I hope Tua is alright. I made "light" of his injury based on Sundays injury where he returned right after halftime. Frustrated by that situation. Didn't mean to offend anyone.

If Dane is another week or two, who starts opposite Elam this week?
While most of us wanted a veteran corner, losing both Jackson and Benford in back to back weeks is unexpected. Benford was playing at a high enough level they must have felt ok not signing a vet.
Probably Rhodes

I hope this is purely in response to Benford situation and not because of Tre White not close to being ready
Could be both. Tre may need some ramp up time even when he returns. I'm thinking this is more of an immediate need signing. Benford is out a few weeks per McD so that leaves T. Johnson and Elam. Dane Jackson may not be ready Sunday so Rhodes is insurance imo.

If you can truly afford $1000 for the game - go for it! Allen vs Rodgers. Might be last chance to see it. Sometimes experiencing something that is rare is worth the money.

Is Schopp more tolerable now that the Bills are a good team? He seems to have lost much of his material because the Bills are winning more and a better run organization. JMO
