Ragland traded to KC for 4th round 2019 pick
Magox replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. From my perspective the Pegula's made a conscience decision to uproot what they considered to be the whole stench of failure from this organization. They essentially picked McD to be that guy to do so and he is now surrounding himself around Beane and a couple other decent football minds. They are investing in this for the long-term, at least the way I see it. They will at a minimum give them 3 years to get this organization going in the right direction and 3 would be if they crashed and burned and most likely give them 4+ years. They may end up being a couple failures but I give McD/Beane credit for doing it their way. There is no half stepping, no half pregnant approach. They are retooling this organization from the scouting department, coaching, management to players. They don't care how high the players were drafted, if the players don't fit their vision of how they believe a team should be made, then they will look to ship him off for some value. Again, they made end up being colossal failures but at least they are "doing it their way". And if I was a manager, there would be no other way that I'd like it done than that. -

I don't believe that will be the issue for this year. -

I wish it wasn't for a 2019 pick. But, a 4th is probably about as good as you could currently get for him and clearly he wasn't in the plans of this regime. -
Buffalo Rumblings breakdown of Peterman against Baltimore

Just like in politics, it seems that most people who have already staked a position will always go to their corners. -
TJ Yates in Concussion Protocol; Bills may add another QB

Kaep I think is a longshot and would make very little sense. Shaun hill and ponder would seem the more logical choices from that list -
4 Teams That Are The Most Likely To Trade For Jarvis Landry.
Magox replied to JM2009's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The main issue I see is that both him and Matthews are both best in the slot. Plus I don't think Miami would trade him to the Bills. But if they were to trade him I'm guessing they'd accept a 2nd and maybe a 5th for him. -
I think it's becoming evident to more fans that every time they see Peterman in action that his ceiling as a pocket passer is higher than TT's. But I agree, TT is a leader on this team, his past production merits him being the starter on this team. But if and when this team no longer is in the playoff hunt or seriously struggling on a sustained basis with TT at the helm, you gotta then bring in Peterman. They have some big decisions to make during draft time and not getting a good complete look under those circumstances would be foolish.

That is a nice throw.

Kirby, it doesn't come off well in the context of this discussion. Even if you find some people's views to be unreasonable, that is nothing new when it comes to people's opinions. Having unreasonable views is an age-old pastime for any sort of discussion among people and it most certainly is nothing new or having to do with people being less knowledgeable, if anything people have more access to statistics, live stream games, analytics etc at any time in history and that trend will only continue. Keep making your case if you feel that passionately about it but there really isn't a need to essentially belittle them as a bunch of know-nothings simply because they don't view things the way you do. It's not a good look.

Not your best post, that's for sure.
-
Surprisingly, I completely agree with this
-
Another point that I like about Peterman aside from him being more decisive than TT is that he seems to target our TE's more often and seems to like throwing the ball to our 2 best receivers Zay and Clay. I like the kid alot and he certainly seems to be a better passer than TT, but you still have to put TT in as the starter. For now
-
You start TT and if and when the Bills pretty much fall out of playoff contention you look to trade him and you put in Peterman. The kid doesn't look lost out there, he's decisive and from all accounts he has command of the huddle. I think you truly have to evaluate him in regular season NFL play to see what you have. The fact that QB evaluators such as Gruden and Greg Gabriel both believe he could potentially be a quality starting NFL caliber player lends credence to the notion at some point you should look to start him, specially ahead of next year's draft. Again, I'd start TT and if and when we drop out of playoff contention you yank him for Peterman and see what you have.

He's a more talented runner and has more arm strength, aside from that Peterman is the more natural qb

Dareus sent home for violating a team rule

What a disappointment. One can only hope that he gets his **** together before the season begins. Hopefully it was something pretty benign and they are just trying to keep him in check for the season. -
Hopes vs expectations for tonight?
Magox replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Will skip the expect and go straight to the hope. Hope the QBs have a few solid drives. Hope that our offensive line holds up much better than last week. Hope that our Dline can generate a pass rush Hope that our secondary plays in position Hope that we cut down on the penalties Hope for no injuries -
Clearly there is way too much emotion to have a reasonable discussion on the best path forward for the Bills. There are justifiable positions on both sides of this argument.

Possibly, but that wasn't the point that He was making
-
Bandits point that He is trying to make is from the perspective of the chiefs. This isn't hard to follow guys.

McCoy is getting trolled hard over Kaepernick comments
Magox replied to BillsFan692's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That too -
So they are thinking about running as independents. I personally dislike Kasich because he is a shameless promoter who I thought selfishly helped Trump win the nomination and Hickenlooper is a doosh. But I'd vote fort them over Trump or whoever the Democrats could put up.
-
This is most certainly the trend and it will continue until someone "breaks the wheel"
-
That has absolutely zero to do with my comment. A 50/50 ball is different than an anticipation throw which is what Sammy was saying. It's great to have a guy That's a tacit criticism of the last guy.

It's a cost vs benefit decision. I suspect that almost all NFL owners don't see Kaep as starting NFL QB, and the cost (distraction) is not worth the benefit of acquiring a backup QB. I think that's what it boils down to.
