  1. I need one of those.
  2. I also see the pass rush as majorly problematic. In this defense the OLBs are critical for the pass rush- more important than the DL. That's why they took an OLB #1. And don't forget that Kyle Williams is another year older and coming off a major injury too.
  3. Someone has to start. That's the justification. Right now the Bills don't have an NFL quality ROLB on the roster and healthy.
  4. Plus Clay is over the middle and they're trying to get him the ball more in the passing game,
  5. DTs are going to start soon.
  6. I think that listing Seantrell Henderson as the swing tackle is probably way to optimistic. The guy hasn't even been medically cleared yet right? And then know knows what football shape he will be in. I think you have to put Kouandjio as the swing tackle at this point, as bad as that sounds. You were at camp and probably know best, but from what I've read Goodwin was doing very well until his heat exhaustion issue. Given how much they value speed at WR. I'd have to think that he is ahead of Salas right now. I'm surprised that's you'd have Wilder ahead of Gillislee given how well he looked in the games last season. I'd have Gillislee at number 3 at least until Wilder shows something in the preseason. If Blanton starts at safety, do you think that Graham reverts to cornerback ahead of Robey or Moore with Duke Williams as the backup safety? Duke has looked good from the reports I've read and he may be a better safety than Robey/Moore are CBs. That is all. Looks awesome otherwise.
  7. As Buddy Nix once said, there's no point in adding a player just because you don't have a starter at the position who can play. He's got to be good otherwise you now have two guys who can't play.
  8. Naah, numbers are numbers. Hopefully he does it proud.
  9. Any Bills LOLB. Read the post. Name one that's better, or even in the same league for that matter.
  10. Dwight Freeney will have more sacks this season with Atlanta than IK will have in his entire career. He has 120 career sacks and is a HOF candidate. No starting left OLB prospect on the team has come within 5 yards of a QB in their careers. He will better than what the Bills have right now even when he's 40 years old. IMO.
  11. Too bad. Would have helped this season I think.
  12. Astro, who's the new left "edge" player? What are your thoughts? Or will it be a committee approach?
  13. Trade talks for who? EJ? Why would they trade for EJ when they could bring in Foles without a trade? I don't follow.
  14. It's like he's looking for the place where there are the most defenders to plow into.
  15. It may not look so funny when they do the Bills.
  16. It was a decent recovery, but they didn't get back the #3 overall that they used on him. The Colts pick was #26 right? So that's a pretty big fail actually.
  17. Would have been a better signing, IMO. But hopefully Bush can turn back the clock and provide something at RB.
  18. Would be a great add, IMO. Even when Manny and, eventually, Shaq return, he would still be the best pass rush option of the three for his season. A one year deal would be a half-court shot at the buzzer as far as the left "edge" position is concerned.
  19. Yeah, and NE will be 0-4 without Brady, so the 4-0 Bills should be cruising by then.😄
  20. Jets are going to be pretty tough. They've probably improved what was already a very good defense and haven't really lost anything meaningful on offense except for Ivory. The biggest worry I'd have if I were a Jet fan is whether Fitz will be able to replicate, let along improve, on 2015-16. However, with Gailey as his OC and given how comfortable they are together I'd say the changes are good he won't totally fall off.
  21. Chip Kelly. When Johnson was with Washington, Steve Spurrier, the coach at the time, was asked by the press if Johnson might get a start since they were struggling at QB. Spurrier said that Johnson needed to figure out which direction the offense was supposed to go first.
  22. Yes. That post is revisionist. Which shows you how meaningless those stats are in today's pass happy league.
  23. Duo backfield is a waste of time. Only one can carry the ball. The other one needs to block. Who would you rather have block- McCoy, Bush or Felton? Or even better, another lineman or TE? And if you say they're going to throw it then why not put a WR on the field? I doubt that Bush is a better WR than Robert Woods. I know McCoy isn't. There's a reason that the two headed backfields aren't used anymore in the NFL. This is total speculation, but I suspect that Bush is looking for somewhere where he will have more of an opportunity than in Buffalo. Here, he's basically a punt returner and third string RB. I think that there are places where he could be a clear #2 and maybe even a part time #1.
