  1. In fact, I think people nationally probably rate him higher than is warranted by what he's shown on the field so far.
  2. Exactly. But the funny part is that he's not going to court to claim his innocence. He's claiming that the league exceeded it's authority in suspending him. His case for claiming that he is innocent is laughable (I still joke with my friends about "The Deflator"). He clearly did it.
  3. Definitely not well handled by the team at all. Can somebody give me a good news story about the Bils medical staff? I could sure use one right now.
  4. Unfortunately, that may be true. The one thing he has going for him is that he's young and the Bills have no other good long term prospects at RT, so he may get another season to see if he can recover.
  5. I agree. Give the guy a chance.
  6. Problem is, Fitz is not a backup and he knows it. He's better than at least 1/3 of the starters in the league.
  7. That was a painful one. The Bills had totally taken control of that game and should have won it. They were on the upswing and beating the Steelers would have been huge. Then Stevie drops the ball and goes all apoplectic on everyone... The joys.
  8. These guys sound like they're drunk... but it takes all kinds I guess. If they win then they'll be eccentric geniuses. If not then they will be buffoons. It's all to be determine by the results.
  9. I hope Easley can make it back. He would really be missed on special teams.
  10. Whaley's right and everyone knows it too. Human beings weren't built to crash into each other they way NFL players do. Injuries are inevitable. That doesn't mean that the NFL or football shouldn't exist. There are sports like boxing and MMA where the GOAL of the sport is to injury other participants. As long as the risks are transparent, what's the big deal? Cut him some slack.
  11. Another positive, on topic post. Time to delete it? Wait.
  12. Is it really necessary to explain who Winston Churchill was? Is that what it's come to?
  13. They will be able to run if the have Sammy. They need at least a little threat of passing to keep the defense from putting 9 men in the box. If Sammy stays healthy all season then I think they will be OK at OL, although depth is a concern as usual.
  14. We'll see. They haven't even lost a game yet. The Warriors may not even beat Oklahoma City.
  15. Careful with the Cleveland jokes. They are on the cusp of a major professional championship in the NBA. Then they will have a champion in the modern era and Buffalo will not.
  16. There is of course a third option: really bad luck. But I have to admit that this all being a terrible coincidence seems pretty far fetched.
  17. Archer stinks and his not showing up opens a roster spot that might actually be filled by someone who can play a little. How's that?
  18. Gilmore is a very good CB, but I think the odds are less than 50-50 that he re-signs in Buffalo. He will want a mega deal and the Bills will be giving so much to Taylor if he has a good season that I don't see how they can keep Gilmore too. Now, if Taylor bombs next season then I think the chances of signing Gilmore go up considerably.
  19. What if Geno looks good? OTAs are not games you know and he reportedly was looking good in OTAs last season.
  20. If you read TBD then you would think that him not showing was actually all part of Whaley's master plan. Whaley works in mysterious ways.
  21. Nixon left office to avoid an impeachment trial that he knew he would lose. Criminal prosecution was still an option after he left so he didn't leave office to avoid prosecution. In fact it was favored by many americans at the time. I'm not sure why that's unclear. On TBD you could state that the sky is blue and still end up in an argument about it.
  22. I'm not sure how this relates to my post but OK.
