    they are a profitable team, giving up the competitive edge that the ralph affords them is inexcusable. it is a money grab, all the nonsense of expanding the fan base rings hollow when you look at pittsburgh, green bay.. just win, raise the prices at the ralph , whatever.. if that is not enough, sell the freakin team!

    i honestly believe that, and that fact is maddening. the NFL has changed dramatically since i was a kid going to the rockpile and that change has obviously been for the worse.

    it all relates to the hot button d'jour, right now it is the gay community, previous to that it was the african american community, as long as you keep insults aimed at the right, you are home free.. i e:gun-toting southern rednecks, bible thumping wackos, fat cats, no problem.. not saying it is right, just an observation..

    in this day and age he probably should not have gone public with it, but it reeks of hypocrisy knowing full well most guys in locker rooms do make gay jokes, ethnic jokes and all of a sudden he gets singled out by the very same people who have done the same..if they could measure indifference , mine would be off the charts regarding this..

    well said.. i am there.. find myself becoming turned off to the NFL in general and i have been watching forever. the combination of the agony of being a bills fan with what the NFL has become just no longer is working for me.
