  1. Different game with different rules... I'll take a couple of personal fouls over 10+ false starts and holding penalties that we get from other linemen.
  2. Florida? Mississippi? Alabama? South Carolina? Who did this study, a Southern States Tourist Board?! Ohh, not them if they existed, but "Andrew Oswald of the University of Warwick in England",! "When human beings give you an answer on a numerical scale about how satisfied they are with their lives, it is best to pay attention. Their answers are reliable" Their results come from a comparison of two data sets of happiness levels in each state, one that relied on participants' self-reported well-being and the other an objective measure that took into account a state's weather, home prices and other factors that are known reasons to frown (or smile). Wow, what a study... based on an 'objective measure'. The WEATHER?!?! Home prices? Known reasons? Now it all makes sense... this study is, how you would say in the UK, a load of bollocks.
  3. When I saw that Incognito had been released, my first thought was that this Bills HAVE to pick up this guy. To cut someone outright like that was clearly based on frustration and by a team that is clearly far worse off than the Bills. When we picked him up off waivers, I immediately thought of one man- Conrad Dobler. When you have the opportunity to pick up a player like this when there is no continuity or much talent on the O-line, to do it is just awesome. If you don't know who Conrad Dobler is, ask around... read this article about what he's doing now, and what others said about him. A Dirty Shame
  4. Considering that Reagan and Dubya account for well over 60% of the total deficit, Obama would have to be president for another 4 terms before approaching the numbers!!!
  5. You'd better save it for your next dinner, or you'll starve... the economy is falling, the economy is falling!! LOL
  6. Nope, I haven't! Four more years of keeping conservative Republicans out of the Oval Office is worth the price.
  7. That's why I don't even bother to engage in any debate- it is like banging your head against a brick wall and getting it all bloodied; quite pointless indeed. NOW they complain that everyone left... hmmm I wonder WHY? Who honestly wants to waste their time being insulted and be called all sorts of names just to provide a counter to a bevy of extremely slanted talking points from biased sources? Not me... and then they question if you are real? A laugh indeed.
  8. High Anxiety has to get an honorable mention- it really did an outstanding job of producing over-the-top Hitchcock parody. Classic scenes such as the vertigo in the hotel, Dick Van Patten being killed with an extremely loud radio, the ink down the drain, and the final tower scene. You just don't see it near as much on TV anymore, but I thoroughly enjoy watching it.
  9. Man, let go of the Clinton administration... LOL We know- tough to believe in global warming when you're fat dumb and happy in a safe part of the world and receive the GOP mailers. Ohh well!!
  10. I don't know... he essentially took a team that was rebuilt from the ashes of the mid-1990's and won a Super Bowl.... he didn't inherit a team like Jim Caldwell or Mike Tomlin, so I completely disagree...
  11. History comes full circle: The Los Angeles Chargers will rise again, thanks to the citizenry of San Diego. It could most certainly happen!!!
  12. When you finally get rid of Dumbo Dubya as your "leeder of duh free wurld", life is GOOD! Eight years of a non-Republican president allows people to truly enjoy these United States of America! Much like the Clinton administration, seeing right wingnuts B word and complain and stomp their feet like children always makes me laugh. A pure treat (No, not a typo- EIGHT years..."Willie Horton" Huckabee, "Loony" Sarah Palin and "Brigham Young" Romney are poor excuses for candidates, and we'll be a strong, fast economic locomotive before the election... LOL)
  13. Chad is great for professional football, and great for fans alike. He has put fun back into the NFL where it belongs, pays his fines, and moves on. He doesn't run his mouth like a lot of cocky athletes, the kind of ignorant jabber that you hear on occasion when the mic picks it up. He keeps it PG, which is great for kids who watch the games. To add, he is a great player in his own right who has been saddled with a bad team for the most part until this year and that one playoff year a few years ago. We need more Chad Johnson Ochocincos in this league, and less arrogant, holier-than-thou players.
  14. I hope they continue to do this just to see righty wing nuts get red-faced and have smoke pour out of their ears... everyone loves to see Palin-esque tantrums!!!
  15. Sherlock Holmes looks a LOT like Wild, Wild West... it will probably be an enormous flop, and lambasted everywhere for ruining another great franchise. When I saw the trailer, I wanted to reach through the TV and strangle the people involved in this movie- Sherlock Holmes in a 19th century UFC-style cage match?! Are you SERIOUS?!?! Morphine addicts don't go around acting like stuntmen. I hate you, Sherlock Holmes movie people.
  16. "the state had helped property owners by restoring their eroded beaches." Sorry, when you took that money, you voided your 'exclusivity'. Go repair your OWN beach if you want it to be private- we don't need to give out welfare to those who have more than enough money to hire their own workers.
  17. WAIT a second... How come no one is going after the kickoff "specialist" for Nebraska?!! He kicked the ball OUT OF BOUNDS!!! How in the #!@# do you kick a ball out of bounds when all the other team has to do is kick a FG to win???? THAT is where they lost the game.... something very simple he blew.... his ONE JOB. Adi Kunalic
  18. Mike Huckabee supports at least eight out of those ten points... BS? You right wing nuts make me laugh. Mike Huckabee on the issues
  19. Yeah, pretty much you have to be very careful who you draft- I advise taking HBs and QBs right off in depth- I have been hurt this year by injuries, and the numerous bye weeks are rough!
  20. I just saw your sig- I am related to Kierkegaard- the village of Skien is the heart of the Aabye name
  21. I love offensive games vice defensive ones- that's why I hate watching Auburn-LSU or Georgia-Tennessee or other SEC games that usually end 13-10 or 16-13 or something like that. Denver-NY was just a mess on offense, and I got bored.
  22. It is on CBS Sports... College Fantasy Football is such a thrill. I like it better than NFL, personally. Based upon what league you join, you can play any combination of conferences, dependent upon the commish. My team has been led by as consistent starters: Johnson, QB, Texas A&M Hardesty, RB, Tennessee Devine, RB, West Virginia Williams, RB, Virginia Tech Gilyard, WR, Cincinnati Alabama, DEFENSE All of the other spots have been subs depending upon matchups... wideouts are pretty much the same after the top 10. I lost Vincent Brown for the season- he was San Diego State's mega-stud WR.
  23. Officially, the game stunk, and I have ignored it most of the way and watched this UT-T A&M game!!
  24. OMG yes... I have seen some really good pictures of her. Yummy
