I love the optimism....we are all the sudden a FO thats going to "outbid" one of the smartest FO's in the NFL for their best defensve player. Nothing wrong with optimism. I hope our FA/Draft is the stuff of legends this year. lots of room to the upside from offseasons past.

The Skins spend lots of green so it makes it easier to deal with. clearly they have not had issues getting players to go there. Getting players to succeed there is a whole other story.

How can you forget the other team in town that treats splashy offseason moves like the plague.

As fare as pure athleticism goes, he's the best I have ever seen. I picked him as an example of something that was probably available this past off season, and we didn't make a play at it. The last scrambling QB we had sure did add a ton of excitement to things. I agree with new regimes coming in and "installing" their way of approaching the game.....but he would have been the best QB for us to cover the gap between skeletor and Chan with good play, experience and who knows what else... It requires imagination and out of the box thinking.....2 things that 94 year old meddlesome owners tend not to have.

We have proven we can fuk up ANY high draft pick....why is this a lock that we now rebuild through them????? The most OT rich draft, we turn away and address the position we needed the least. give us 2 first rounders and we'll find a 3rd Rd talent (McCargo) to waste a pick on with one and fuk up the other one. We can't find a guy to EVEN CONTRIBUTE to the defense with a top 12 pick (Maybin) If we're in the QB Hunt....pass on a tough cold weather QB that plays a pro set (Jimmy Clausen) at a value for a 2nd rounder.....reach for every California pu-ssy that turns into a bust and doesnt want to be in B-lo. You all know the story... This team built the SB teams with some amazing draft picks trades and FA moves, resulting in skill and depth. They had a top notch FO. This organization destroyed itself letting Polian leave followed by Butler/AJ. Until one of the alumns (Kelly) becomes the face of this organization, returns some class and swagger, we're going to get Southern Accented outsiders that don't care about the community, the fans, teh history and the heritage.....they were the last call on teh call list and B-Lo is still the NFL. I hear Buddy talk and I feel that I am at a freakin Klan rally.

Small Market- Big Time FA's can make a boatload in endorsements and local appearances. History of losing-No apparent commitment to winning History of being CHEAP - $ talks Bad Reputation: Any/Every player out there is one or two degrees of separation from one of our former coaches...they talk to each other for certain. For a QB: We havent had an OL in the top half of the league since 90's Fina Brown Nails etc. One deep threat, no possession reciever, no TE. Weather Facilities pale in comparison to rest of league And who says we even try to go after top FA's to begin with....I don't see it.
