  1. yes teams are built from the inside out but if there's a quarterback that you think is going to be a franchise quarterback available in the first round and your a team in need of a qb (the bills) you take that quarterback. The steelers, colts and giants all drafted stud quarterbacks in the first round and before they drafted their franchise qb they were all average teams, the colts extremely horrible. A good qb turns an average team into a contender bottom line.
  2. I see Naaman going in rounds 4-6, he'll get an invite to the combine and hopefully he runs well. Regardless, he makes me and my buddies from joes proud every week, kids a star.
  3. I gotta go Rivers here, the kids more of a punk than kelly was but there's a lot of similarities
  4. It was a nice day but it would have been perfect with a bills win
  5. Exactly, he's not rebuilding anything, Notre Dame manages to be an average team with a top 5 recruiting class every year its pathetic. I'm not saying Claussen isn't good but the idea that Weiss is rebuilding a program is an excuse and thats all it is.
  6. You left some extremely important out of this poll, Gordon Bombay. He took a mighty ducks team that was worse than the bills onto beat the powerhouse Hawks. He also coached Team USA and figured out how to beat wolf the dentist and team Iceland. Bring in Bombay.
  7. For the first time in my life i saw our o-line getting downfield and making great plays. For the most part a stellar performance for the o-line, I'm happy to say we are tough and athletic up front.
  8. Exactly, The bills ran the play clock as much as the pats did for the most part on offense it had nothing to do with the no huddle. It seems to be the sexy thing to say that the no huddle is the problem.
  9. I think it is a legitmate concern and I don't understand the Bills thinking in letting rhodes go. If jackson goes down we are screwed. Omon cannot pick up a blitz or block to save his life. Why not keep rhodes for the first three games at least. Doesn't make sense to me.
  10. Can we please give Edwards a chance to play a few games this season before we completely kick him to the curb. I know he's had his ups and downs but Edwards has only started around 16 games as an nfl quarterback. I would much rather have Edwards than Brady Quinn at least Edwards has shown signs of being capable to play in this league while on the other hand Brady Quinn has not. If we are going to go after an unknown qb it should be in next years draft if Edwards has a bad year. I know things don't look great right now but everyone is losing their minds around here and the season hasn't even started yet. I know we're hungry but can we at least give Edwards a few game this season please.
  11. Since I heard the news the last 45 minutes have been hell waiting for the press conference at work. Only 7 more minutes ughh!
  12. If the Bills upset the pats on mnf you'll find me running around the streets naked with a bottle of jack, and maybe eventually in a local holding center. As a young Bills fan it would be the highlight of my fan hood.
  13. I don't like the Jets, but the J-E-T-S chant is pretty cool. Certainly better than "Shout." You sick sick blasphemer
  14. I was talking about a few buddies of mine the other day and I was thinking of how cool it would be if HBO came out with an nfl show like ESPNs playmakers a few years ago. HBO could put the show out with solid actors and solid writing it would be awesome. The problem is HBO has a good relationship with the NFL that I'm sure they wouldn't want to jeopardize that.
  15. Agreed, love the show. Carson Palmer seems like such a cool guy and I loved it when they did the oklahoma drill on the first episode. It's so cool to see what happens behind the scenes, overall just great television. HBO continues to raise the bar every year.
  16. I am actually a big fan of the Jim Rome show. I started listening to the last 20 minutes just because it was on GR when I would get out of highschool and it really grew on me. Now that I'm in college I listen as often as I can. The show really is like an aquired taste, the more you listen to it and get it, the more you will like it. I understand that it's not for everyone but the show is entertaining and often has me laughing my ass off.
  17. I played too games on 360 with my buddy last night, the game looks cool but it's near impossible to play offense. every time you try and run it generally gets gobbled up quickly and you have no time to throw the ball since the o-lines are so much more important.
