  1. I couldn't agree more. Did anyone else think that maybin just looked awful last night?
  2. Lets look at the stats of vince youngs sophmore year in comparison to Pryors from espn.com Terrelle Pryor: comp: 167 attempts:295 yds: 2094 comp %: 56.6% td: 18 int: 11 rat: 128.9 Vince Young: comp: 148 attempts: 250 yds: 1849 comp %: 59.2% td: 12 int: 11 You tell me John, which passer would you take? Pryor is only a sophmore and already has 2 big ten titles appeared in 2 bcs bowl games both of which ohio state was in. I'm not saying I love him personally or that he's great yet but you cant deny that hes a tremendous talent. There's no reason Ohio State shouldn't be favorites to win the big ten again this year with a better team.
  3. Ohio State is returning almost every significant starter from a team that won the big ten last year and the rose bowl. Pryor may not be a prolific passer but he has won the big ten as the starting qb for the buckeyes in his first 2 years as a college starter. The fact that people give him such a hard time is remarkable. They were saying last year and mind you I watched every single one of Ohio States games that he was farther along than Vince Young in regards to passing when Young was a sophmore at Texas and pryor is just as highly touted as an athlete as Young. He and young are so similar in every way and I see pryor having a season to remember just like youngs junior year when Texas beat USC in the national championship.
  4. I am not in favor of rooting for my favorite team to tank this year but I am in favor of letting the younger guys play this year to see what they can do and if that means we go 4-12 so be it. I do believe it is crucial that we land one of the top 3 quarterbacks coming out of the draft next year. The qb class next year with locker, luck, and mallett may be held in the same regard as the class in 2004 when manning rivers and roethlisberger came out. Whatever happens, Go Bills.
  5. I cant take wgr anymore and am looking for an alternative. As soon as I heard the afternoon show was doing a food draft I knew it was time for me to tune out. Aside from their 10 minture commercial breaks they drift off from sports so often and not only on the afternoon show. This morning howard and jeremy were talking about actors in small roles for my whole ride to work. I would be hard pressed to find a worse radio product in the entire country. Even if both teams are in the offseason talk about other sports, baseball, nba free agency, golf anything but your pathetic personal lives. Seacrest out
  6. Hey Nick, I'm a big fan of the columns you wrote for wgr and I'll think you'll do great in your new gig. I know it's hard sometimes but try not to stray from sports. The crap they do at wgr with the country draft and all that dumb stuff is insane. No one cares. Even when both the sabres and bills are in the offseason there are still other sports you can talk about and things going on in sports that can be talked about. I want to hear about sports, and if it strays away it better be about at least an athlete (Tigers Incident). I can't wait to tune into your show because I'd rather ram my head into a wall than listen to Schopp and The Bulldog.
  7. It blows my mind that a kid like this could go undrafted. There must be something I'm missing
  8. you can find quality players at any position in the draft, you just need your player personnel people to find them. it just so happens the last three qbs who have won the superbowl we're first round picks (brees is the first pick in the second round practically a first rounder)
  9. I'm sure thats what dolphins fans said after they went 1-15
  10. ya, what he said. Plus our o-line is only 1 tackle away from being very solid we can draft that tackle in round 2
  11. ya it would be a huge mistake to trade for one of the best qbs in the league. This team hasn't seen the playoffs in the last decade we have no good qbs on the roster and mcnabb would make us an immediate contender. When our o line is healthy they could easily protect mcnabb and he could thrive here. A good qb solves a middle of the road team like ours worries.
  12. Naaman Roosevelt from St. Joes is playing if you want a Buffalo boy to keep an eye on
  13. basically they both had nice things to say about Buffalo and Ralph and said he should get and take the job.
  14. It really disgusted and pissed me off when the colts sat Manning, What a gutless move. I now hope they lose their first game in the playoffs. I know winning the Superbowl is the main goal but you can't tell me going undefeated didn't mean anything to the colts players or fans. Manning was having a hernia on the sidelines because he wanted to be in there so bad. And even worse that fat bastard cry baby is going to probably get in the playoffs with his pretty boy qb. ps the Bills suck i can't wait for the season to be over so i can have false hope next year.
  15. And please believe, if ND had UT's defense, they'd be getting ready for Alabama right now. Please, I like Clausen, but to say this? This team lost to Michigan, Uconn, Pitt and Navy. They could barely squeak by michigan state, purdue, and washington. To say he has no cons is also ridiculous he has never won a big game, he has never had an 8 win season and he had the game in his hands against USC and he didn't come through. The kid has a tremendous arm and a lot of upside but come on
  16. middle linebackers usually always will lead the team in tackles because they are in a position on the field where most plays come their way. Poz took terrible angles at the running back all day and he absolutely was exposed. I know your not arguing poz is better than Willis but Willis isn't playing behind a front four much better than poz and the linebackers around willis aren't anything to brag about either and he makes big time plays every week. And no schobel doesn't get a free pass if you were here in the offseason you should have seen all the grief people were giving schobel but he has actually been a pleasant surprise this year.
  17. ya your right man just because the product isn't good I'm supposed to abandon my support of a team I love. I root for the bills cause it's fun it's hard at times especially when your a bills fan but it's fun to follow an nfl franchise especially one where i live in the community where the team plays. All you people who say your done with the bills stop posting on this forum every week and be done. I come to this forum to talk football and get things off my chest. It's utterly ridiculous to say it's our fault as fans to root for the bills and want to go to the games and wear bills gear.
