Not disagreeing but his size has nothing to do with it. With the video shown one can forget a man can be physically harassed and a victim of domestic violence too. One of the reasons being they know they shouldn't hit women then the situation can get out of hand. The best way for him to have controlled the situation was to push a button and get off the elevator and walk away.

I saw that but it seems almost like you are repaying with money you would not really be getting anyway. I thought there is a new provision that allows a team to pay back the loan with revenue from TV also. I didn't really understand it but it seems like a loan paid back with community funds.

I think the NFL has a stadium fund that will kick in up to 200m also. That would mean only 200m in public funds if it is a modest stadium.

I don't know about Thad, but Tuel got high praise from the coaches at the beginning of the off season. He put on weight and was said to be devouring the play book to the point where he would know it as well as Hackett. Those are some of the reasons he became the number 2, Marrone said he deserved it. It has been said by me and others that IF Marrone is coddling EJ's confidence the Bills already have a problem. Your QB needs to be able to handle competition and if they know EJ can't that is even worse.

If you don't think the HC of a professional football team is major management I would like to see what you consider one? He is akin to a Director in the cooperate world. He is charge of the all the coaches and players. There is hierarchy underneath him. I am not saying he is the boss but to dismiss him as the Xs and Os guy is naive. I would suspect only two people are higher than him in Bills organization. Russ and Whaley. That said, it doesn't mean he can dictate what he wants outside of his domain of influence. As with any director position he obviously has peers on a similar level as him.

I think competitive cheer leading is pretty impressive, but I am sure they would not be allowed to show off their cool moves do to liability issues.

He probably thought it was best to say this sort of thing to appease the other NFL owners and not have to deal with ramifications of saying "Sure I will take less to keep it in Buffalo". It seems pretty obvious now that he told certain people in confidence that the team wouldn't be moving. People like Kelly and Thomas have been adamant that there is a plan in place. Most chose(and perhaps still choose) to ignore them.

Funny I was pretty sure that is not what he said right after the draft. I thought it was more like "Dallas is not big enough" for Jonny and Jerrah? I cannot find any articles going back to the draft but I am sure they are out there. I love how the media forgets this stuff. lol

Probably not to the players who get punished all the time. It is symbolic, yes, but its better than not doing anything. I am not sure if a fine would play into it or not, it would have to be pretty steep to be meaningful.
