  1. I agree with evrything you said. The most logical and rational thing to do is keep Fitz, draft a QB, let them compete for starter spot.
  2. Grow up man. With your mentality, what's the point of even having a forum about anything? Go cancel your account. And by the way, you have plenty of posts on this thread (more than me probably)...so keep adding to it.
  3. If i was GM, I'd definitely trade him. They were 8th in defense (yds/game) last year without him. Jets need to clear cap space, and add some major talent to that offense. Two more draft picks would give them a ton of options on draft day.
  4. LOL. If i recall correctly, i think he even had another drop in that same game in the end zone (or was that another Jets game?). That other drop i'm talking about was followed by an inaccurate pass by Fitz where Stevie was open again.
  5. I like Stevie a lot (though he's made me want to smash my TV on more than one occassion). Though not elite, it can be argued that he's a top 20 WR in the league. If we go QB in the 1st round we could definitely go WR and/or TE in the 2nd. Lord knows we've ignored the WR and TE positions long enough in the draft. Last WR we took in the first 2 rounds was Hardy ( i think) in 2008 - I guess that has scared us off. There are plenty of good TE's in this draft and if we go with a rookie QB,, what better compliment than two big TE's in chandler and a Zach Ertz or Tyler Eifert. Kelce from Cincy is also a really nice TE that could be there in the 3rd round.
  6. i see Patterson going in the 2nd round and definitely not the top 10. i don't think a WR will go in the top 10 this year. we'll see.
  7. I got something out of it: a woman didn't die. Sometimes the prize is truth itself (as trivial as that truth may be relative to other things).

  9. I'm definitely positive about Marrone. Never really thrilled about DJ or Gailey signings, was more neutral.
  10. I have no problem with what stevie said. There should be competition at every position on this team. WR/QB especially..
  11. NASSIB looks nice on a jersey.
  12. ya, i definitely hear you about the turnovers. i'm not looking for comfort of any kind, btw. just laying out their stats is all.
  13. Man, you guys are really something else. I'm comparing the career in buffalo of one player to that of a current player. Is there really something odd about that in a buffalo bills forum? The season is over. Would you rather talk about cam newton? Maybe Jeff Fisher? When looking back at Bills QBs I always regarded bledsoe to be the last solid/legit starter we had and I was surprised to find that Fitz's stats compared to or exceeded Bledsoe's while he played in buffalo. If people don't like talking about a bills player then there are 1258524 threads about who we're gonna draft in a few months. I suggest you guys go there to post instead.
  14. dude, you're a clown. if you think this thread has anything to do with you, you're pathetically mistaken. you're a winner buddy. a real winner.
  15. i was working on this thread during lunch break (looking at the numbers between Bledsoe/Fitz) and was replying in the other thread (the WR thread). Is that not allowed? I like looking at stats and comparing them to other player and being surprised. I never expected Fitz's numbers to be comparable to Bledsoe's b/c in my memory, Bledsoe was "better" . The post about Fitz and Bledsoe is simple and non-confrontational. You're the one who has been having an aneurysm during this thread. Calm down. If you can't handle talking about Fitz, don't post in my thread. END OF STORY.
  16. how about this. I'll stop talking about him when he's no longer on the team?
  17. thanks man. the lynch mob in here is nuts. understandable i guess since we haven't made the playoffs in like 14 years. just trying to keep things in perspective b/c i know that plenty of people would agree that Bledsoe was our last good QB (though obviously some people disagree w/that notion as well).
  18. i hear ya. But Trent Dilfer also won a super bowl, so there's a lot more to winning a football game than just the QB. the bills team as a WHOLE was much better in 2002-2004 than it ever has been since. it was at least somewhat balanced. Ok, so I just want to get it on record that Bledsoe "sucked". Ok. Fine.
  19. your argument stating that Fitz is horrible and defending it by yelling "fitz is horrible" is laughable. i gave you numbers, and Fitz's numbers > than Bledsoe. FACT.
  20. off the top of my head i know Bledsoe did have one 6-10 season of the 3. i know his last was 9-7. don't remember his first. 7-9? I do remember that the defense was much better than what we have now and the coaching staff > this coaching staff.
  21. You're implying Stevie is great on his own and if he had a "real QB" instead of having 3 1,000 yd seasons, i suppose he'd have 3 2,000yd seasons? Obviously Stevie throws the ball to himself, catches it, and then runs with it. If we only had a real QB Stevie would be > Megatron I suppose.
  22. This is exactly what i'm trying to address, your drastic view. Fitz had "4 good games" yet over 3 years he has thrown for more TDs, yds/attempt, a higher completion % than Bledsoe. So how many good games did Bledsoe have?
  23. Fitz is my "imaginary" friend ala Te'o. In all seriousness, i'm just discussing their tenure in Buffalo and not their entire career. Fitz's tenure in buffalo, statistically speaking, has been better than Bledsoe's.
  24. Ok, SJ is better than Josh Reed, but Josh Reed would probably be the #2 WR on this roster. What did Stevie do before Fitz became starter? Who made who look good?
