Example: No one was happy when we traded up for McCargo; people really questioned taking Hardy so high; and everyone was left scratching their heads when we selected Graham in the 3rd round when 1. no one knew who he was and 2. many "experts" had him going in the 7th/undrafted. Plenty of other examples. But when we took Lynch, Poz, and Edwards at the time I thought that was the best draft we'd had in years.

Exactly. The 49ers thought that Kaep was such a no-brainer that they waited until the 2nd round to draft him. Much the same way the seawawks were so high on Wilson that they waited until the 3rd round to get him as well. Sometimes a little luck is required as well.

this is one of the deepest drafts for TE's in a while. i really like Travis Kelce from cincy and he could be there in the 3rd round. good at both receiving and blocking.

The premise was simple (at least for me): I always regarded Bledsoe to be the last legit QB we've had, and I was surprised to find taht Fitz's numbers compared to or were even better than Bledsoe's in certain respects. All the other nonsense that developed in this thread is a result of people having the mentality of a 10yr old. If you think that talking about Bills players on a Bills forum is so ridiculous, go back to posting about Teo's imaginary G/F or Revis being traded. I don't judge.

I undesrtand missing on timing routes, but they've missed wide open WR, or have thrown into triple coverage, or have thrown it directly to a DB. Manuel had the same amt of practice as the others yet he looked worlds better.
