  1. Agreed. Expect nothing but crap "injuries" from this guy all season. I hope I'm wrong.
  2. I disagree. Byrd is a two-time pro-bowler and is tied for 3rd in most interceptions in the NFL since 2009. He has already proven himself in the NFL and other teams will jump on the opportunity to sign him. It's in his best interest to not get significantly injured this season so he can cash-in next season. A little "toe" injury is the perfect excuse to not play, get paid this season, and at the same time not have other teams question you next off-season. Again, this POS better play week 1.
  3. What to expect? A loss - that's what I'm expecting. 27 - 10 sounds about right.
  4. I'll call BS on Byrd's foot "injury." That POS better be out there Week 1.
  5. 1. Rookie QB 2. Rookie QB was a first round pick in last draft. 3. Rookie QB is potentially the new face of the franchise. 4. Rookie QB has surgery. 5. Rookie QB misses large amounts of practice/playing time during pre-season from surgery. What's the rush? Honestly folks, what exactly is the rush? What's the point of forcing anything? Let him at least have a full week of practice before making his first NFL start. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Decades of watching horrible football and we as fans can't wait until Week 2?
  6. These boards, as usual, go from one extreme to another. I can't wait for the EJ Manuel insanity this season - he will surely go from Warren Moon to J. Russell from week to week.
  7. ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reported on SportsCenter Wednesday that Jets OC Marty Mornhinweg is "very high" on Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib, and the Bills are worried the Jets will poach him. As Sal Pal alluded to, the Jets "control the first round" to some extent with the Nos. 9 and 13 selections, either or even both of which could be used as trade bait for a coveted player such as Tavon Austin or if a top-five player surprisingly falls. Both the Jets and Bills have QB needs and are very high on Nassib. "I know one thing for sure in talking to people around the league," Paolantonio reported. "The Buffalo Bills want Ryan Nassib. But they're very concerned the Jets will take him later in the first round. So the Bills may be forced to take him at No. 8." What an epic disaster that would be. The love affair with this average (at best) QB is mind boggling
  8. Why don't we just draft Otto the Orange while we're at it. Otto and Billy can fight it out at half time to determine whether we're really an NFL team or a Div. I college team.
  9. What about QBR? Fitz QBR 2010: 48.4 2011: 50.5 2012: 45.8 Kolb QBR 2010: 36.0 2011: 34.4 2012: 38.0 For as bad as Fitz has been, Kolb has been far worse with far better WR's to throw to in Philly and Arizona. Kolb has 14 fumbles in the last 22 games. Fitz has 14 fumbles in the last 45 games. What are you looking at?
  10. The irony of it all is that I can see the following begin to happen this season: After several years of having a statistically HORRIBLE defense and a statistically AVERAGE offense, the coin is going to flip and our defense will start becoming average while our offense becomes horrible. Hence, we're eternally stuck at 5-11 through 7-9.
  11. Kolb's last 22 games (3 seasons): 59.3 comp. %; 4,321yds (6.81avg); 24TD; 18INT; 14 fumbles; QBR: 36.0 (AVG) Fitz last season (16 games): 60.6 comp. %; 3,400yds (6.73avg); 24TD; 16INT; 8 fumbles QBR: 45.8 (his lowest for us out of the 3 years as f/t starter) Kolb put up pretty pedestrian #'s considering he was throwing to some of the better WR's in the game in Philly and Arizona. But ya, we got TJ Graham now who was obviously handicapped by Fitz ! LMFAO. Take your blinders off man. It's clearly Fitz's fault he wasn't sacked enough - the bastard got rid of the ball too soon. Poor Kolb however, his O-lines always blew nuts. His ****ty receivers - Fitzgerald, Maclin, DJax, Cooper, etc just couldn't get open quickly enough for Kolb. Kolb should be worlds better now that he has TJ Graham to throw to.
  12. Yup. I just don't understand the point of letting go of Fitz but yet bringing in Kolb. Why waste any more money on a player like Kolb when he's no better than Tjax. What a joke. I could understand it if we didn't have Tjax and wanted to havve Kolb/rookie compete...but I see absolutely no point in having Kolb/tjax/rookie compete. Waste of money considering we have about 0 depth at numerous positions on this roster and haven't signed **** this offseason. Unless of course the coaching staff has absolutely no intention of drafting a QB this year, which would be another disaster. That's a pretty big assumption, considering that if you COMBINE all of Kolb's numbers over the past 3 seasons (22 games), you get what Fitz gave us in one season (16 games).
  13. I can see the player being Aaron Maybin...i always wondered about that guy.
  14. they never should have lost the helmet. if i was a dolphins fan, i wouldn't mind the logo being altered, but don't lose the damn helmet!..lol. that logo could just as easily be the logo to an aquarium. bad move imo.
  15. lol..in what possible way? Am I to think he's less of a man? Less of a football player? Less of a human? NO.
  16. I fully agree.
  17. Was it KKK Draft Inc? You have to be kidding me.
  18. Hanging, electrifying, and beating dogs is on par with anything.
  19. See Michael Vick.
  20. Perfectly said.
  21. i'd rather just trade our 3rd round pick to the Titans for Fitzy.
  22. there are a plethora of words that can be used to describe SJ; "mature" probably isn't at the top..
