  1. but he won, thats the point! who really cares about stats, just win. As herm said-"you play to win the game"
  2. i agree. O-line was better on pass protection but still not good. Tackles were always getting beat
  3. everyone I know blames Mckelvin for the pats lose. and parrish did lose the browns game, but trent did not win it for us-so the browns game was both parrish and trents fault
  4. if the law of averages worked in football, dont you think we would have made the playoffs by now?
  5. you obviously did not see the "whole" browns game that Trent played. I think if Fitzs plays that game, we win. Just my opinion-
  6. now this is a stat. 35 to 26 seems pretty significant to me
  7. way too far ahead of yourself-
  8. Duh....Fitz has played two games, and hit his WR 15 times!!! How many games did trent play? And only hit his wr 39 times? and fitz actually takes shot down field. I like trent and want him to succeed but I dont think he has it. I hope I am wrong but he will not trust his WR's to make plays
  9. what a qb should do! Not all qb's checkdown everytime, some will actually throw to a WR a let him make a play
  10. ya, and look who he played for? A terrible Bungels team, with no run game, and only one good receiver (TJ). Not many qb's could have won with that team. And besides, The only record that matters is that he is 1-0 with US!!!!
  11. he practiced today according to buffalobills.com so not sure this is right
  12. Buffalo News reports: '"He's got a big arm," said Bills offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt, asked to list Fitzpatrick's strengths. "That's one of the things in stretching the field that is more comfortable to him. Protection issues are something that he's really strong in, as far as determining who's coming and getting protections suggested to get that taken care of. I think those are some of his strong points. His ability to run is something that we like."
  13. I think we: 1. Do we win or Lose? Win 2. Fitz over or under 225 yards? Under, juster over 200 3. Will Fitz have 2 or more TD's? Yes (2) 4. Will we have a 100 yard rusher? NO, Lynch will have 80+ 5. Do either of WR's have a 100 yard game (or both)? Yes, Lee will 6. Bills 20+ points scored? Yes 7. Bills 20+ points allowed? No 8. Will we give up more than 3 sacks: No 9. Will we have less than 4 penalites: No 10. Miscellaneious prediction: we give up 150 yards rushing
  14. This is why. LINK: http://www.projo.com/patriots/content/proj...v2.37ced21.html Pats Belichick unhappy with LB Adalius Thomas? Patriots coach Bill Belichick apparently is unhappy with Adalius Thomas' production, though his slow start could have been because he missed the final seven games of last season due to a broken arm. For much of this season, and with Jerod Mayo out for three games, he and Gary Guyton were the only two true linebackers on the field as New England played more of a 4-2-5 alignment; according to the defensive statistics tabulated by the Pats' coaches, he has 12 tackles, one sack, two quarterback hits and a pass defensed. -- Providence Journal
  15. I agree with most. However, on both of those long runs, whitner gets DESTROYED. Someone put both runs on youtube, and he overpursues really really bad on one, and is out of position on the other. I like Byrd too, kid is a ball hawk, just needs to tacklet better and get in better position vs run. That will come with experience I loved how Fitz used Lee and tried to get the ball to our playmakers. If Trent would do that, our offense would be alot better, but he just does nt Did anyone pay attention to the RT Meridith? How did he do? Like if you just watched him on every play? GO BILLS!!!
  16. These are just rumors from fox sports posted today, but a couple are somewhat interesting. Rumor 1: Chiefs DT Glenn Dorsey to Lions? LINK:http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2009/10/lions_martin_mayhew_on_the_clo.html One of the most interesting prospects is Glenn Dorsey of the Kansas City Chiefs, a defensive end who has been in and out of the doghouse, a player who still is adapting to a position switch and a guy who isn't a mystery to the Lions. Detroit defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham was with the Chiefs when they made Dorsey the fifth overall pick of the 2008 draft. Cunningham knows a great deal about Dorsey, especially his ability to play the position for which the Lions would want him, defensive tackle. -- Booth Newspapers Rumor 2: Chiefs LB Johnson to Lions? LINK:http://kan.scout.com/a.z?s=115&p=2&c=910652&ssf=1&RequestedURL=http%3a%2f%2fkan.scout.com%2f2%2f910652.html If the rumors about Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson being dealt to the Detroit Lions before Tuesday's trade deadline are accurate, Demorrio Williams' play might be part of the reason. He still has a hold on the starting job ahead of Johnson and isn't about to give it up. -- Scout.com You would think the Bills would be slightly interested in Johnson, UNLESS the asking price is too high, or maybe because they plan on targeting Johnson next year in free agency (the theory would be why trade for him, when we can sign him next year as a free agent Rumor 3:Ravens eye Chiefs Bowe, Pats, Galloway? LINK:http://www.carrollcountytimes.com/articles/2009/10/19/sports/3_ravens_notebook.txt Despite team officials' denials, the Ravens continue to be the subject of several trade rumors around the league. According to various reports, they're supposedly interested in Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, New England Patriots wide receiver Joey Galloway and allegedly made an inquiry about Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens that was rebuffed. -- Carroll County Times I thought D.Bowe was good, why would the Chiefs want to trade their number 1 WR? And TO's name is mentioned and then rebuffed in this
  17. Story is below, but here is the link: http://www.carolinagrowl.com/index.php?opt...atid=1:articles Muhammad believes opponents know when Panthers plan to throw the ball Wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad realizes that. After the game he tried to shed some light on the problem, saying opponents seem to be getting tipped off to the Panthers passing plays. And, obviously when a defense knows a pass is coming, it's easier to defend. "From what I've been seeing defenses are dropping a lot more guys into coverage and, I don't know if it's based on our formations, or the quarterback's drop or what kind of keys they're getting, but the safeties have typically been reading and then trying to drop back into coverage and reading pass," Muhammad said. "Something is giving them a pass key and they are just double-teaming the pass. It doesn't always start off like Cover 2, but it winds up in Cover 2 or some sort of man with Cover 2, that kind of thing." -- Gaston Gazette ..... Maybe he should try watching the Bills offense-
  18. well if every team we played only completed 2 passes, there is a good chance.......oh wait that did happen, and with Trent at the helm we still did not win. Fitz used the WR more than any other previous game that Trent played in thats 4 sure
  19. ya, i just saw that. My bad, but they still stink and we should beat them, if they dont run for 300 yards on us
  20. NO OFFENSE, BUT the trent concussion was the REFS FAULT. Yes, thats right, the refs fault!! The whistle should have blown and protected Trent when he was pinned under 2 jets!! IF THAT WAS HOMO TOM BRADY, WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD HAVE HAPPENED? EXACTLY, THEY WOULD HAVE PROTECTED HIM THAT PLAY NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT BY THE LEAGUE, THEY PURPOSELY TWISTED TRENTS HEAD ON THAT PLAY
  21. i live in myrtle beach, sc and Merdith played at South Carolina. Many of my friends are die hard gamecock fans, and they had nothing but good things to say about him But i do believe he played guard during college. Anyway I did nt hear his named called alot yeasterday-which is a good thing!!!
  22. do you think that had anything to do with the suspension and lack of 1st team reps? Or you just wanna play dumb?
  23. NO, Lynch should get the carries. Lynch is 23, and fred jackson is 29. Lynch is the future, so give him the bulk of the carries. I watched the game, and thought jackson was ineffective when he got carries. Just my opinion, but give the ball to Lynch
  24. yup, another bills blunder that has led to our demise. Way to go Ralph, start rob johnson becasue he has a good game the last game of the season vs a crappy indy team at the time. Then, we all know what happened in tenn, thanks again Ralph (you dumbass!!)
