  1. I am like most Bills fan, I just dont understand what the owner (RW) and the front office IS/are doing. And unitll they figure it out, I ask you to show RW your displeasure they only way he will understand- DO NOT BUY SEASON TICKETS-(and I know people said this before, but then we still turn around and buy tickets) Look at last year, it was the 4th most season tickets sold in Buffalo history or something. And look at the product- I am not saying give up on the team, just simply wait and see if the FO really has any clue what there doing. Who knows, maybe this year will be different (been saying that 4 ever it seems) I just dont know how committed RW is to this team is he does not even interview MARTY SCHOTTEMHEIMER OR BRIAN BILLICK- TIM GRAHAM SUMS IT UP BEST ABOUT BILLICK: "I just wanted to make sure I was clear that [bills general manager Buddy Nix] had not called," Billick told reporter Aaron Saykin of Buffalo NBC affiliate WGRZ. "Why he had not called a coach with a Super Bowl ring, 10 wins a year for nine years, having orchestrated the highest-scoring offense and defense in the history of the league, is a question worth asking. But I never spoke with Mr. Nix." "Good question, indeed. Gailey isn't an awful choice. He has fine credentials. But why the Bills wouldn't at least interview Schottenheimer or Billick is beyond me". Tim Graham AND PLEASE BE WEARY OF A "TO MOVE". WHICH WAS BRINGING SOMEONE IN TO SELL TICKETS. THATS ALL TO WAS- SO AGAIN, I AM NOT SAYING GIVE UP ON THE BILLS, JUST SIMPLY SEE IF THERE ARE AS COMMITTED TO WINNING, AS YOU HAVE BEEN TO THIS TEAM-

Look at last year, it was the 4th most season tickets sold in Buffalo history or something. And look at the product, it was terrible. 3. If we did hire cowher, he would have named chan gailey his OC and assistant head coach. Still a rterrible hire but better than Jauron
  4. This is just unbelievable. I hate you RW-
  5. well espn is now reporting that Marty Schottemheimer among other's was interested in the job. In fact, ESPN says that MARTY wanted the job "badley" LinK:http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/16841/marty-schottenheimer-wanted-bills-gig This just shows how cheap and what a shi**y owner RW has become. I mean, does nt Marty fit the description we were looking for: A big name coach with head coaching experience And oh ya, rumor also has it the Brian Billick was really interested too. I guess they were not as cheap as chan gailey
  6. YES, HERE IS A THOUGHT. Dr. Mr Wilson- Please get the Buffalo Bills a veteran QB! If the Eagles are listening to offers for D. Mcnabb, you better be giving them a call. Please before I shoot myself Bills fans-
  7. I hear you too, and you make a good point about our lack of offense but Indy has has players like D.Freeney, R. Mathis, and Bob Sanders on its defense. Which makes it a little easier when you have talent like that-
  8. would he get that much if he was a 2nd rd pick? b/c i am not saying take him with the 1st rd pick- but ya, weight issue could be a concern.
  9. Dude, I agree offense needs alot. But if we cant stop the run, we cant beat anyone. We are 32nd vs run, giving up 172 yards a game.
  10. Hey, i never said take him in the 1st rd. He is not slated to be drafted in the 1st. Espn's scouts inc has atleast 4 dt ahead of him (McCoy, Suh, A.Jones, Odrick) Link:http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft So if we could draft need or best available with our first, then maybe go Cody in 2nd or something. Thats what I am saying. I agree, you dont take him in top ten-
  11. Anyone who has watched the Buffalo Bills knows that our Run D (or lack of) may just be the worst in modern day football history. With that being said, its obvious the unit needs some major changes (scheme, personnel, etc). I personally feel the cover 2 is a joke of a defense. I hate the bend but dont break philosphy, and the use of "undersized players with high motors." I want a defense that attacks, has size, and speed (who would'nt). Also with the location of our team being in Buffalo, NY it is ESSENTIAL that we be able to atleast somewhat stop the run. (Obviously our cold weather and wind makes it difficult to throw so visiting teams will run) As we seen in late season games the past couple of years. (i.e 2007 bad weather games vs CLE week 15 and NYG week 16) Here our some current Bills defensive stats (As of Dec 6 from nfl.com): Rush Yards allowed per game: 172 per game (32nd in nfl) Total Yards allowed per game: 360 per game (23rd in nfl) Pts allowed per game: 21 pts per game (17th in nfl) As you can clearly see from that stats above, the lack of a run D is killing us. How do we fix that? There are many ways (like changing scheme) but as far as personnal wise-DRAFT TERRANCE MT. CODY MT CODY BIO 6'5 365 LBS Career Stats 2009 25 tackles 5.0 for loss (-10) 2008 24 tackles 4.5 for loss (-14) • Finalist for the Lombardi Award • Semifinalist for the Bednarik Award • Midseason All-American by both Sporting News and CBSsportsline.com • Selected as the AT&T All-America Player of the Week vs. Tennessee with two blocked field goals • Anchored a defensive line that is allowing just 68.2 rushing yards per game to rank second in the nation • No individual has rushed for 100 yards since Cody arrived at Alabama Cody was a 2 years starter at Alabama. Where he played vs some of the top talent in college football. While at Alabama he played in a 3-4 defense scheme there. So this was give the Bills the versaitily of choosing either a 3-4 or 4-3 scheme to run for that year. Worst case scenerio Cody could learn and eventually replace DT Marcus Stroud, who is aging. Best case scenerio, he steps in, along side Stroud and we run a 3 man rotation of Stroud, Williams, and Cody. And this would give us some depth, as you see how much luck we seem to have with staying heathly.
  12. WHAT ABOUT MT CODY. We cant stop the run, and this kid is 360 lbs and played in the SECC?
  13. i used to think this was a dumb thread. But now it's a pretty good question lol
  14. This is another TO move. Its not to make the football team better, its a marketing ploy-TO SELL TICKETS, just like TO was
  15. funny you should say that because even though retired, Harrison still received 3 votes according to the article ha ha
  16. This was from a SI poll of over 296 players. No Buffalo Bill made the top 20. Here is the link: http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...dirtiest-player And I think it funny that both players were/are Steelers. I hate the steelers lol
  17. I dont mind the Bills bringing in another qb, but there is NO WAY that the browns take a 4th for brady quinn. Especially since they traded up, back into the 1st rd to get him. Sounds like something the Bills would do. Trade up for a 1st rd pick and then move him 2 years later for a 4th. Just does nt make sense, right?
  18. well i was hoping that our Bills team this year was gonna be better (talent wise) than last years Bungels, but I may have been wrong. and who in the hell intentionatly watch last years Bungels games lol.
  19. The quarterback controversey (like there ever was one) is OVER!!! Well after the 1st game Fitzpatrick won, I was unimpressed, but happy we won. Then he won a 2nd. And like many Bills fans, I started to wonder is it was possible for him (Fitz) to maybe be the starter. And then, there was the Texans game. After watching that, it is painfully obvious to me that Fitzpatrick is just a back-up and NOTHING MORE However, I do love his pocket pressence, he seems to be harder to sack than Trent. Fitz also has quick descision making ability, which Trent lacks. Other than that, Fitz showed me why he was/and always will be a BACK UP So, lets get Trent healthy and see if there is any chance is hell that he can still be our future. I doubt it, but would LOVE TO BE WRONG. GO BILLS!!!!!
  20. I disagree....suprisingly. One of the only things Jauron is good at, is coaching and teaching his secondary. Jauron use to be a cornerback/secondary coach back is the day, he needs to go back to it, and stop coaching. Anyway, Byrd is a player!! I would not put him in the same sentence as witner, parrish, and edwards. But I do agree that Jauron has ruined to of those players...edwards, and whitner
  21. David Carr? Why dont you just bring in Jp Loserman too. I rather shoot myself than watch david carr play qb. You bring in a winner, not a guy that knows how to get sacked or lose games. Bringing in Carr is stupid. Now, I agree with bring in a rookie, but you have to use Bill Parcels theory. Bring in a 3 year starter (in college) who knows how to win NOT DAVID CARR (that may be one of the dumbest things I have ever heard) Who does he even play for this year?
  22. Tim- How does Jairus Byrd get on the pro bowl ballet? He is currently not a choice on the ballet and he should be Thanks
  23. I know that is early is the season, but PRO BOWL VOTING has started. Even though is it usually a popularity contest, I wanted to vote for the BUFFALO BILL WHO CLEARLY DESERVES PRO BOWL VOTES thus far in the season. And that would be JAIRUS BYRD. The only problem is he is not an option on the PRO BOWL BALLOT yet? He clearly deserves to be on there, with his 5 INTERECEPTIONS IN THE LAST 3 GAMES, putting him just 1 behind Darren Sharper for the NFL lead So how does he get on the ballot?
