Climate Change
All_Pro_Bills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I drive down the street and see signs that say "Climate Action Now!" on front lawns. Of 4,000 sq ft natural gas heated homes with 2 zone AC, a built in pool with nat gas heat, and 3 big SUV's in the driveway. But you driving by reading my sign, you do something, now! It was hotter in the 1930's than it is today. And then it wasn't. How do these "experts" know the cycle won't flip into a cooling trend regardless of CO2 levels? They don't. But if you want them to say its going to get cooler just pay them enough and they'll say it. Just like they say its going to get hotter. I'm sick and tired of "experts" telling me what I should and shouldn't do. How about I tell them what to do? F Off! -
The real reason for the gaslighting

You should take a look at Medicaid expenses. For most States its the highest budget line spending item. Part of it is because of rising medical costs. Other sources of increased cost are reliance on the program by more and more people with States easing eligibility requirements and fewer low income people covered by commercial plans. Some of it due to the nature of part-time work. The problem is commercial plans cover fewer and fewer people. For the major insurers more of their business is Medicare and Medicaid than it is commercial insurance coverage through private employers. Medicare pays 80% of covered expenses. This can leave a big chuck owed by a retiree. Medicare Advantage plans at extra premium cost can cover most of the 20%. As an example of commercial coverage a few years back my wife had a serious illness that required hospitalization for about 25 days, 12 of those in ICU. The total bill was about $650,000. (I should add the hospital made the "mistake" of submitted another $110K of what I considered fraudulent charges under "outpatient" services which the insurance rejected. I guess 650 wasn't enough for them!) I think I ended up paying about $14K out of pocket. If that was basic Medicare I would have owed the hospital $130K. Not many retiree's can afford that. Most doctors and big hospital systems make lots of money. They're not driving 15 year old cars or clipping coupons, their kids are going to expensive private schools and golf lessons at the country club. Neither party wants to tackle that Hornets nest of the AMA lobby. -
What the commies want is citizens to lash out at the immigrants. Which will provide the justification to clamp down on "extremists". Create a crisis or an event is always in their plans. They're sneaky Mofo's. But rather it would be more effective to by one means or another eliminate the commie politicians and the elites funding their mayhem. Confiscate their money. Use their rules with means no rules. Voting them out would be a start. Already the left in Germany is attempting to "ban" the country's most popular political party, AfD. The populist Alternative for Germany for being an extremist group. Like a buddy of mine once said about the system, "if you can't beat 'em, cheat 'em".

It would seem logical but the establishment employs thousands of credentialed experts that are willing to give anything their stamp of scientific approval and legitimacy as long as the compensation covers their expenses and the cost of their surrender of ethics and honesty. -
TURNING AROUND THE DHS/FBI/DOJ POLICE STATE
All_Pro_Bills replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think we sometimes look at the relationship all wrong. It's the weaponized government intel agencies that are running the show. Not the elected Biden administration. Or any administration since Kennedy for that matter. The President and his fellow elected and appointed Democrats are the puppets. Most Republicans too. The intel community and the Democrats share a common enemy, Trump and the populist movement. The last thing either of these groups wants is a civilian government that will prioritize the interests of American citizens and our country over those of the global empire supported a network of civilian and military installations and facilities across the planet. So who cares about our unprotected border or drugs or the derelict state of our electrical grid, crumbling roads and bridges, failing education system, and unserviceable national debt when there's priorities like stealing resources by installing compliant leader in South American and African countries, protecting the oil fields in the Middle East, protecting private interests in Asia exploiting cheap and slave labor, and isolating Russian with a goal of controlling their resources too. There are two Americas, America the country and America the Empire. When we go to the polls to vote we think we're voting for people to represent our country but the people we elect are really there to represent the interests of the Empire. Almost nobody understands this distinction and you're certainly not going to get an education on the subject in the schools or from the media. -
That could very well be the situation. But most organizations also have code of conduct requirements that throw around terms like integrity and honesty. So aren't administrators and surgeons that lie just as accountable for their violations as a nurse? But none of that explains why the FBI would insert themselves into a quarrel between an employer and employee. Their involvement provides the impression that if the issue was, say, unnecessary appendectomy operations they wouldn't have inserted themselves into the conversation. Given the topic is something contentious like gender affirming surgeries the takeaway is the action signals the government is making it clear they're taking sides. Perhaps the hospital is doing these surgeries but hiding it by coding a different procedure and diagnosis code for submission to insurance? Which is medical insurance fraud. But that's pure speculation. In my line of work I have access to around 140,000,000 de-identified patients, electronic health records, medical and pharmacy claims, etc., and I could very easily check into it by running queries against those files and search for the specific procedure and diagnosis codes along with the provider ID for that hospital for a selected date of service time period. But I'm not that curious and I don't want the FBI visiting me anytime soon. 😏

Shouldn't a trained nurse observing, and perhaps participating in, surgical procedures at a hospital which has publicly expressed a claim they're not performing those surgeries be allowed to express a professional and informed conclusion without retribution that somebody is taking liberties with the truth?

The Biden administration continues to insist the problem isn't the economy, which is great, rather the problem is the perception of the economy by citizens of our country. You see, the problem is you. So goes the governments war against reality.

A wall kept the Greeks out of Troy until they let the Trojan Horse in through the main gate. An when the pro-Palestine demonstrators showed up at the White House what happened? Why they built a wall. You should have let them know it wouldn't work before they went through all that trouble. LOL..

If its not Hillary then Obama, Pelosi, and Schumer might be found some morning with their hands tied behind their backs with 10 gunshots which the medical examiner will rule were suicides. -
Global warming err Climate change HOAX
All_Pro_Bills replied to Very wide right's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The Weather Channel likes to hype up and do climate change public service announcements as much as possible. The recent heat wave provides ample opportunity. They've shown charts about how in many cities the "average" temperature has risen several degrees since 1970. Just what the definition and formula for average temperature is left unexplained. This is supposed to elicit alarm among their viewers. But why site 1970 as the base year? If you go back to the 1930's the slope of the chart looks much different. During that period of "global warming" temperatures soared into the 100's with regularity across the country. And then it ended. -
Clooney's views on Trump are provided to George by his wife Amal Alamuddin. "Happy wife, happy life!" Either that or he's doing a polite version of his best DiNero imitation.

What you say is true, there are many benefits we've enjoyed. But there are also costs as well as benefits. One consequence is de-industrialization of America and lost skills that leaves us unable to ramp-up industrial capacity or re-deploy assets when the need arises. Such as the way civilian production facilities were transitioned during WW2 to win the war effort. A major reason we beat Germany and Japan was we simply outproduced them. As an example the actions to supply Ukraine's war effort. The Russians are out-producing America with artillery shells at a pace of 10 to 1. Another consequence, which is perhaps the greatest blunder of all time, is it facilitated the creation of the largest competitor to America's dominance of the world in the likes of China. But who could have seen that coming? Maybe anyone paying attention and extrapolating events into the future a few decades? But this isn't the kind of globalization I'm highlighting. I'm talking about the tug-of-war between those pushing to centralize and concentrate power and control in the hands of fewer and fewer institutions and individuals on a global scale vs. populist political and social movements and forces working to keep or move back control to the nation state and its citizens.

So the choice would be to concede your national sovereignty and strategic interests to some international cabal of what we might call "elites" in the hopes of avoiding some hypothetical conflict? Ignoring that they're already responsible for most of the conflict the world is experiencing already. Its a choice between freedom and slavery. Be smart, choose freedom and local governance.

I understand Protected Health Information rules and regulations pretty well. While there are rules around disclosing somebody else's information there's nothing stopping you for disclosing your own. In the case of candidates, voluntarily disclosing their medical history or just their current condition. The thing I struggle with is social responsibility. Let's say you get on a plane and unknown to you the pilot sufferers from some debilitating condition where he could black out at any moment, including when he's on the job flying the aircraft. What obligation does his physician, supervisor, or the company or others in authority have to the passengers and their safety vs. the confidentiality of the pilots health records? I'm not sure where that line is. How would that apply to the President and perhaps other officials? Also, some jobs have a requirement for competency. I don't see why the requirement for holding the highest office in the land should be exempt from such a requirement. But absent some 25th amendment action by the cabinet, it seems it is. -
You've got it all wrong. MAGA and other populist movements across the western world are looking to retake power and autonomy over their nation's affairs from global corporations and organizations that have no allegiance to any nation and return it to the elected representative government of their country. Its happening here and all across Europe. The world's headed for a downsizing where bigger is better and centralization of power and control have run their course and our cultural, social, economic, and political arrangements are going to be organized closer to home whether anyone likes it or not.

Israel and Iran
All_Pro_Bills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Not that anyone is paying attention or perhaps is surprised but it looks like the US is abandoning the $250 million Gaza relief aid pier which apparently has some operational issues. "Expensive incompetence" is one description I heard of the situation. Rather than what might have merely been an election year stunt, why not have insisted to the Israeli's that given our generous American taxpayer provided billions in aide they cooperate with bringing in relief aid to civilians in need through land crossing into Gaza or we cut them off? While our leaders are clearly imbeciles they also lack the intestinal fortitude to impose any terms and conditions. Or they're just faking concern for those people in an election year? Also, word is Israel is planning to widen the conflict by taking on Hezbollah to the north. So be prepared to empty your pockets again. -

There's a difference between a decline in mental and physical capacity due to aging and decline due to some degenerative condition such as Alzheimer's or dementia. Observations point to Joe Biden suffering from the latter. And decline can vary from person to person based on environmental factors and genetics. Elderly people have issues in their 60's while others have clarity of mind into their 90's (apologies for calling anybody 60 elderly). What we lack is clear medical evidence which would be provided by a medical evaluation performed by a geriatric doctor and a neurologist specializing in elderly patients. This would settle the issue and end all speculation but its a certainty the administration would never submit to that type of evaluation. Which generates more speculation and suspicions that they're hiding something here. Its the old if you've got nothing to hide here then why are you hiding it argument. -
So Azov militia members, and other Nazi characters, sporting Nazi symbols and insignia are just making a fashion statement? And documented historical collaboration with the SS and Hitler is a type of disinformation? You're way too investing in a positive outcome here that looks less and less likely to be objective.

First “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” — George Orwell, 1984 And next “Forced obedience to obvious lies is the essence of totalitarianism. It’s the ultimate flex for psychopaths.” — Dr. Toby Rogers Pick any of the insane leftist objectives and initiatives and then think about if we're at step one or step two.
