  1. That's what happens when you put Marxist academics and lifetime public sector employees in charge of business and economics. They reject traditional business principles and common sense and believe their superior intellectual brilliance leads to the production of free and unlimited goods and services, all without requiring anyone to perform any real work, that magically fall from the sky like bright rays of sunshine!
  2. Maxine is pulling out all the stops here. Threats to Democracy, Racism, Domestic Terrorists. All the plot lines rolled into one. She sounds really desperate here. And the attacks on Manchin and Sinema reflect that desperation. We all know it's a matter of public record how the opposition always views the filibuster as a useful tool when they are in the minority. The record is full of speeches supporting the filibuster from the likes of Senator's Obama and Schummer and McConnell when it served their purposes. These are the facts. If you believe that anything which gets in the way of the majority from imposing their will on everyone else than I'd suggest you are more interested in a one-party ruling system of government. A system where compromise, debate, collaboration, and some semblance of a negotiated and agreed to "common good" are replaced by threats and force. Absent all the political and social justice bullsheet being dispensed the filibuster is simply an obstacle to their agenda that needs to be removed for them to pass the voting rights bill which the Democrats believe will facilitate their maintaining majority control of Congress. Democracy is just an excuse and an afterthought.
  3. Why it's absolutely... Brilliant! Another job well done by the elected idiots and bumbling bureaucrats.
  4. It's gotten to the point that Union Pacific Railroad has informed the County of Los Angeles that they are contemplating pulling as much of their operation as possible out of the county.
  5. People on the left always believe they're engaged in some crusade against injustice and "the system". Even though they control almost every social and economic institution. That's part of the reason they can't let go of Trump. I saw a quote from a blog writer a couple days ago that described their mental state best. "What I find interesting is that leftists actually believe that THEY are the underdogs and that they are fighting a “revolution” against the establishment. This is a bizarre disconnect from reality. Every major institution of power and influence in the US is on the side of the political left. How can you be rebelling against the establishment if all your values coincide with the establishment’s agenda?" In the case of Trump they believe they're fighting some evil controlling force while in reality he's just a bit player in the game and the big fish are the people they blindly and loyally back. They are useful idiots and drones that will be dispensed with when no longer useful. But they're mentality is so detached from reality they cannot understand.
  6. No worries here. The voting rights bill pushed by the administration should resolve all these issues by legalizing and codifying fraud.
  7. As this isn't a case of a police officer alone on patrol confronting a dangerous suspect the question is why did this particular officer open fire while the others did not? After all, if the threat was extreme why didn't they all open fire?
  8. Dem's use Jim Crow racist tool to block sanctions in support of Putin. https://greenwald.substack.com/p/senate-democrats-use-the-jim-crow
  9. I agree in general with a couple modifications: I think there's a one-party system in place where power behind the screens calls the shots and the differences and conflict between the two major party's is purely for entertainment and dramatic purposes. Give the voters the illusion of choice every 2 or 4 years while establishing differences at the edges but not yielding on any vital interests or policies. Influential billionaires, large powerful corporations, global interests all pull the strings and call the shots. Members of both parties are well compensated for their efforts. As for the CIA I think its goals are the same as all intelligence agencies around the world. Gather information, monitor the political, social, and economic landscape, and carry out specific policy objectives domestically and internationally. All while making themselves as invisible as possible and creating the impression that it all happens by itself without their involvement and keeping their handiwork and involvement hidden from view.
  10. For me the irony of the entire spectacle is the biggest threat to democracy since the Civil War, 9/11, Pearl Harbor, whatever event you want to cite is the 1/6 committee itself. The American version of the Committee for Public Safety. Conspiring to conduct a fictitious investigation with pre-determined outcomes in order to produce conclusions they plan to use to justify the passing legislation and creation of regulations to restrict the freedoms of American citizens and criminalize descent to their political agenda and weaponize Federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies against their domestic enemies. All in plain site aided and abetted by their media stooges and enablers. They should all be arrested and charged with sedition.
  11. No. But when he's not conducting unnecessary research projects that requires torturing and killing small animals, discretely funding illegal gain of function research is foreign labs with lax safety protocols, lying about his complicity in the pandemic, and supporting authoritarian lockdowns and ineffective mandates he seems like a decent guy.
  12. In 1980 Paul Volker was intent on crushing inflation and in 2022 Jerome Powell is just intent on talking about it. In 1980 the US economy could survive higher rates but in 2022 the US so called "service economy" cannot as its totally dependent on low rates and foreign sourced goods. Can you imagine 14% interest rates in today's service economy, financial markets, housing markets, consumer credit markets, government debt markets? If you're not preparing for the biggest financial disaster in history then you're leaving yourself exposed.
  13. If I was casting a movie that had a role for The Devil he'd be the first guy I'd think of calling for the part.
  14. I suspect Ms. Abrams' campaign is concerned with associating her with a President and Vice President with very low approval ratings and will focus their messaging on what's good for the people of Georgia rather than what's good for the progressive agenda in general.
  15. The stranglehold that the pharmaceutical industry holds over the US government is hard to comprehend. I've watched through two administrations policy being steered toward big pharma vaccine-centric solutions while promising treatments from smaller firms have been stonewalled and rejected by the FDA and slammed by the CDC. Used only through compassionate use to treat the sickest and generally too late to do any good. Most of these treatments showing greater efficacy and safety results that far exceed the approved Merck and Pfizer pill at $700 per treatment. I've watched networks that receive the majority of their revenue from drug ads toe the company line. I've watch doctors and medical professionals that express views and opinions counter to the official stance beaten into silence. While their colleagues stay silent with many others complicit in the arrangement. I've watched drugs like Ivermectin and HCL, both of which are safe and highly prescribed in the US already, used in poor countries with limited resources suppress the curve and treat the sick effectively while both these and other cheap and available drugs suffer ridicule and rejection. The entire charade of this vaccine only approach has been laid bare by Omicron. Its time. Time to ignore the politics and reject the money and actually do what they've been claiming for 2 years. And that's actually to "follow the science". But I'm not holding my breath for all that to happen. Most likely the idiots will double or triple down here. Can this failure get any more obvious?
  16. In the AFC East the last few seasons: The Dolphins own the Patriots The Bills own the Dolphins The Patriots own the Jets The Jets own nobody.
  17. Knox makes the catch. Burn the clock to finish Q3 and get the wind in the 4th.
  18. This cute pic is what you post when you have no good response. It's your "tell". So point for me. But curious, was this reaction before or after your idol Hillary read her sad and pathetic acceptance speech a couple weeks ago on national TV? I mean, give it up already.
  19. I remember last November when Trump supporters working polling locations in large urban cities in several swing States stopped vote counting activity at around 11 PM election night, shoed away opposition party observers, and resumed the count augmented by boxes of suddenly discovered mail-in ballots that pushed their candidate to victory in those States. Then locked away the boxes of ballots, refused to allow anyone to inspect them, and fought all court challenges while flooding the media with "there's nothing to see here messaging". We need to make sure those cheating scum don't try to pull this off again.
  20. This is the left's "wet dream" fantasy. Trump perp walked in the middle of the night by a bevy of Pretorian Guards and CNN media celebrities. Tried, convicted, sentenced, and jailed for life. After they wake up from this orgasmic and euphoric experience in the middle of the night they head off to the bathroom to change their shorts one more time. But it's just a dream because the only bigger farce than all these allegations is the committee "investigating" them. Let me know when any of this sees the inside of a courtroom.
  21. Much fewer than a couple thousand knuckleheads entered the building. I'm going to take a wild guess that somebody called off the reinforcements because the House Democratic leadership wanted to let it happen in order to use the event as a premise and justification for weaponizing the forces of the Federal government, law enforcement, the DOJ, and the intelligence services against their political enemies. So far with much fanfare but little to no tangible benefit. But not without a lot of drama like yesterday's hilarious recollection of the lethal threats faced by members of Congress. Some of which were not even present at the time. Of maybe they wanted to create an epic historical story for the ages rivaling the Battle of Thermopylae where 300 Spartans are said to have held off 100,000 Persians for several days. In this case 16 to 20 Capitol Police held off an attacking horde of 100,000 protesters who breached the Capitol, met close to zero resistance from government forces, and with victory clearly in reach collectively decided to leave and just call it even. And I should add, went home and waited to get arrested for the high crimes of trespassing and disorderly conduct. Both of which Democratic DA's in major cities do not even consider indictable offenses. But in the case of 1/6 demands for maximum sentences are loud and persistent from the soft on crime collective.
  22. A big fat check billion dollar check from the CCP for some phony hedge fund investment and a $67K a month spot on the Burisma BOD says you're wrong. And prove anything? Hold yourself to the same standard.
  23. A guy who's family has taken plenty of pay off money from China and skimmed US aid money to Ukraine while secured positions for his unqualified son? We should all agree that the standards for excellence and performance have dramatically fallen if Biden is some sort of benchmark. And the cleanest pig in the mud hole comparisons to Trump are well past their expiration date.
