I agree I agree I agree Great post by somebody that actually knows the game. I think you hit it right on the head and its the main reason I think the bills have been missing the playoffs. 2 games is what the Bills must be expecting also Fred Taylor, Jones, Foster have been brought in. t They are looking for a RB backup to Fred Jackson thats for sure at least for the first couple of games

I agree 100 percent with this , great post Most QBs the come out of college had a problem with anticipation, thats the main reason most college QBs cant handle the pro game Trent had Lee Evans open alot this past year, should have had more catches but Trent has to learn how to trust his main weapon more like Kurt Warner does with Fitzgerald, just throw the rock his way and trust the he can make a play. WRs in this league are not wide open like in college, but I think with more experience he will learn to trust his WRs more. Back to Roscoe....he can be used more effectively if we had a stronger #2 WR (coles) but he is limited to quick slat routes or routes that have more double moves. That being said he is small and tends to get jammed at the line to often, taking him out the play. He is the best punt returner in the league though, that makes him worth keeping because he can take it to the house on any punt return. They can use him more on reverses IMO But if Hardy and Johnson continue to get better, I like Johnson more than I do Hardy at this point, He is trade bait next year.

Considering what we are paying Lee Evans ,I think 3-4 million plus incentivies is a good deal for an older player I like what the Bills are doing so far this offseason getting rid of Dockery and Royal ( no brainer) getting a guard and backup QB that doesnt threaten Trent I would like them to take care of Peters so he can show up for the OTA's Getting Walters for a season or 2 and adding Coles would make a pretty good offseason so far Cant wait for the draft next month

Peters was not playing bad considering he missed all of training camp and all Tackles get beat every now and then. But joey Porter had his lunch last season(4 sacks) even with that he has made 2 pro bowls in a row. If they get him signed to a new deal i bet we get the Peters of 07. Trust If you noticed the line play got alot better once Butler came back. Hes pretty good not Pro bowl material but solid. I thought Big Boy Walker played well last year. He could stand to lose about 20 lbs but he carries his weight ok The guys above made more of any impact then Dockery. He good at pass blocking but is not effective as you might want for a guy his size in the run game on a consistent level. I thought he would be a road grader but to the Bills surprise he was not. So they did the right thing by letting him go. Plus I think they were trying to make Jason Peters the highest paid lineman so they can get him back to playing with a smile on his face.

I agree, plus johnson is a bigger reciever who should benefit from the playing time he got last year Dont forget Coles has had concussion problems in the past and I guess that is the main reason the Bills didnot sign him right after his visit. But he is better than anybody beside Evans that we have now so I would be happy if we did it, but not surprised if we did not

I guess the main reason he came to the B-Low in the first place is because he KNEW the Bills have a need for a strong #2 WR AND to see if the Bills were willing to overpay for his services like they did Dockery. Im sure the Bills made an offer but after Dockery they are not dumb enough to overpay a guy who has concussion problems Having said that he would have made a nice addition for even 1 yr but at the right price id say 3 million per year with incentives for playing time, total TDs stuff like that

Coles would make Lee Evans a better player........ I has always thought Evans was a "speed" WR, not a true number 1 like a T.O. or Randy Moss He needs a WR to take the double teams off him and do you really think Josh Reed does that?? Coles would make Beast/blunt mode better also because teams would not stack the line with 8 man fronts all the damn time. coles plus a TE in the draft would make this offense good...on paper at least Oh i forgot about the line....... damn our luck

I agree and remember just because they offered him the tender he does not have to sign it........ I am sure they will reward Fred for last year, but we have to get though the free agents first, then they will sing him to a performance laden 3 yr deal

Man I would love to see him in Buffalo didn't realize he was a free agent His size and decent speed for a TE. and you know if the Bills get him TE would look pretty decent with him, Derick Fine and Schoman.
