If the Bills Fire Jauron mid season?
Bufcomments replied to billsfan89's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Jauron gets fired mid-season Bobby April would be the head coach, he is assistant HC right now. If the team plays well under April Id say give him 3 years, I think he has earned the chance. But this is WAY TO EARLY to even think about this right now. Maybe we can redo this thread during the bye week. I have a wait and see attitude about this year, lets see if Jauron has learned from his mistakes in the past but his history says he not change his style. -
my college playbook was thin compared to this but..... You only have to learn your position is most cases Like someone said, the hard part is the audibles I imagine its a bit more complicated these days with all the subs but if you get paid like these guys do and really only work 3 hours a day after a period of time you should be able to get it. If you don't you are not serious about the game

another post today made me think of this poll I know it would cost the team but I like the thought of keeping the throwbacks and making them the every week jerseys Hey the dark blues came out during the Donahoe reign nuff said Seems like going back in Bills history is better than upgrading the jerseys The team just looks sharp in those throwbacks to me side note The Charging buffalo on the white helmets....sweet never liked the red helmets IMO

I have a wait and see attitude about this season. Last year I was expecting us to get into the post season This Year....so many ifs To be honest I would settle for 9-7 The most important thing in this season is can Trent Edwards perform at a higher level than last year. He has the weapons. Can he lead to the playoffs? Right now I am not so sure. hope they prove me wrong

RIP Jack Kemp Only QB to led us to a League Championship did the retire his number??? If not they should do so

Owens, O-line on the agenda at Booster Club meeting
Bufcomments replied to Lori's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank You Lori I am certain now that Jason Peters did not want to play here anymore after reading they offered him more money than Lee Evans. WOW that had to be more than 10 million. and I am surprised they want Walker to play LT. Hope he loses some weight to play the left side -
I have been to San Diego they need a new stadium badly, bad sight lines in both end zones The old dog pound in Cleveland was worse than the Rockpile I like the Rich Stadium....err the Ralph because if you think about it there is not a bad seat in the house.

I have a wait and see attitude for this year Last year started so well and with Brady going down last year was our shot but we sucked in Nov and Dec. So ill just reserve my comments until we get out of the preseason, there are so many ifs right now to answer this post. -
I would like to add something to this post Andy Ried is a nice guy too but unlike Jauron his training camps are one of the tougest in the league and its makes his team much tougher. Plus he has some damn good assitant coaches that have experience in the game. Mike Tomlin seems like a players coach as well. But he also has tough practices and has a good staff helping him. my point being its ok to be a nice guy or a players coach. But sooner rather than later we have to see results Everybody knows Jauron is not gonna change the way he sees the game If Russ and company can move Dockery, Peters, Royal out the door for sub-par results he can do the same with Jauron Bet by the bye week he will be gone if the team is not turning the corner because you cant say now that the team doesnt have talent.

I have no problem with Jauron the person. The team likes him and so does the organization I do have a big ass problem with Jauron ... on game day The last 3 yrs we have all seen that Jauron plays not to lose Hoping that the other teams messes up before we do. In this league you have to play to win and that is NOT how Jauron coaches on game day. I hope he and Schonert become more aggressive this year, not balls out be take a few more chances offensively. otherwise he is toast.

Id say give him 1yr and 1/2 and we might have Jason Taylor Jr on our hands But it might take some time just like it took Bruce Smith time to learn the in and outs of playing DE But we need some sacks from him this year and anything more than 5 or 6 would be a bonus

Grade the Bills first day in the draft
Bufcomments replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan 2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I gave it a B Love the two lineman picks......way overdue to address the O-line high in the draft instead of waiting for the second day If at the end of the year Byrd starts at safety and if Maybin is productive it could be a franchise saving day for OBD At least I am hoping -
Round 2, Pick 51: Andy Levitre, OG, Oregon State
Bufcomments replied to McClane's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Took them long enough...what 9 years lol I like the fact they are beefing up the lines..... maybe he might give Bulter some push in training camp. -
Byrd confirms he is a Safety on WGR interview
Bufcomments replied to Fingon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He better be a safety AND Start for a high second We need some ballhawks in the secondary So Byrd at FS and Donte at SS I could live with this Guess we will have to see how it plays out -
Round 2, Pick 42: JAIRUS BYRD, CB, Oregon
Bufcomments replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan 2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this is what they are thinking I bet but they could have had a TE I dont know about this pick -
Walker is better suited for RT , leave him paired with Bulter the right side was better than the left side last year IMO they are Building the lines AND ITS ABOUT TIME
-
Double thumps up, has leadership, toughness, I love it

Round 1, Pick 28: ERIC WOOD, C, Louisville
Bufcomments replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan 2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Finally they go OL in the first I like this pick and he will play guard or center and will start LT Chambers LG Hangartner or Wood C Wood or Hangarter RG Bulter RT Walker Just a guess but the Bills just got stronger in the middle -
Well after digesting the pick and reading some posts..... They Bills can move him around like Shawn Merriman and give some OC's something to think about Being so young he will grow some more . Played at Penn St so he is a northeast player His motor is not questioned so he will give full effort and is a character guy They way the draft is going anything can happen so even though im not jumping up and down I understand why the Bills liked this guy
-
Man I hope you are right, like I said earlier he might play LB and let Kelsey play the run on 1st and second downs
-
I think they take Pettigrew if he is there at 28 if not then OL Britton maybe? In the 2nd round a name I like at DE is Johnson from GaTech
