maybe somebody asked him what about your playoff prediction

Parrish made 4 million in 08
Bufcomments replied to Bufcomments's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
first Hardy may not be ready for the season opener so it Evans, TO, Reed. Johnson ,Parrish top 4 right now What if somebody gets hurt? What bothers me is for the first time since Parrish has been here we have 2 top flight WRs I think that would leave him one on one in the slot on 3rd downs He is well worth the roster spot if he is used correctly -
First of all I would hate to lose Roscoe Parrish Best PR in the league (sorry Devin Hester) Give you a player that can take it to the house on any play teams kick away from him adding to possible field position. Coached by the Best Special Teams coach in the game thanks Bobby April, you will be coach by mid season hopefully But is he worth 4 million a year?? I wish i knew what the cap hit would be if we traded him ( somebody who knows please post it) But maybe this is to free up some money for Jason Peters If we have to lose Parrish in order to keep Jason Peters....well thats a tough one to swallow the thing that bothers me is if Jason gets his money will he continue to play at a high level You know what your getting in Roscoe your thoughts ??

God Bless ya Joe....KEEP FIGHTING If Fergie would have been healthy in that playoff game back in 80...we would have won they were playing against Dan Fouts and Air Correll, game was good until the 4th quarter I'm am still mad that he was hurt but he showed lots of guts just by playing -
Per PFT: Bills Shopping Parrish
Bufcomments replied to TheBuffaloBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
one question..... How does getting rid of the best punt man in the game make you team better?? Trading Jason Peters will make your team better in the long run. Trading Parrish for a draft pick does not. If they trade Parrish for KCs Walter im fine with that. but anything else fugg it -
Report: Lynch suspended three games

I agree Dean I think it will be reduced to 2 games 3 seems kinda harsh and is almost 1/4 of the season -
Ok let's roll, I want to talk some football.
Bufcomments replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I used to think trading Parrish was an option but now I don,t. Reason being he IS the best punt returner in the league and can take it to the house on any punt Plus Bobby April would lose his natural mind and has to much say at OBD IF they dont sign Peters before the draft chances are he will be traded. Has to be for a 1st and 3rd round picks even though I would like to get a player in return becuase like it or not Peters is a good player. with Peters gone maybe you have a chance at addressing the OL with those picks. you can get an DE, LT, OG and a TE with the first 4 picks You can improve the Team if you trade Peters, you cannot if you trade Parrish so why even consider it. -
trading peters/shoring the trenches

I think Unger might be there in the second. I think the idea of Ayers over Maybin because he is a true DE If this would happen I for one would be happy -
Bills were in serious discussions with Philly about Peters
Bufcomments replied to Fingon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with this post. They have to get a first round pick and a player that can help them win THIS year otherwise they get to take it in the rear. Plus Philly then has to sign Peters and make him one of the highest paid LTs, Easier said than done -
The more I think about it I would not draft Maybin in the 11 spot I like Tyson Jackson at this point At #11 than I do Maybin even though he is not as quick as Maybin he would be an upgrade over Kelsey Maybin might be this years Vernon Goldston I am starting to think that the Bills will trade down and add a pick Maybe they will take Pettigrew if this happens But If Brown slips to the Bills (if they get lucky) they have to take him I would not be mad if they pick an OLineman with the first pick All depends how the Jason Peters saga pans out
-
Well said I would take him if he was there at 11 If you go to any college campus in this country you will find somebody that has tried some weed all part of experimentation in the college dorm life Heck if you busted everybody who smoked some weed in the NFL these days there would be some big names on the list I say take him and make him understand he is on a watch list and 1 more mess up he will be out. Look at what happened to Marshawn...the cops were not really to concerned about the weed in the car.....just the gun

no way if you want a DE get Peppers dont know what the salary cap hit would be on releasing Kelsey but I would cut Kelsey or redo his contract to backup status and sign Peppers to a long term deal if we do not get the pass rusher in the draft my 8 cents
-
Good for him Besides its only workouts right now and he knows this offense Jackson knows that Marshawn will miss a game or 2 and he has leverage He unlike Peters has earned a nice pay raise The Bills would be stupid not to pay him say like 1.3 million a year

Bills should take Tyson Jackson in first round
Bufcomments replied to Bufcomments's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sanchez might be taken by the 49ers...big if because they need a OT just a bit more I did my research on them needs Buffalo might luck up on a trade if some team has a need and is willing to trade up forcing the Bills down the board -
My Entertaining Mock Draft =)
Bufcomments replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well at least u agree with me on Tyson Jackson/Maybin as i said in an earlier post today I think it comes down to those 2 in the first round If Jason Peters gets traded its a whole new ball game though I dont know about a LB in the second If we dont get Schefter from Denver I think we go TE in the second round -
Bills should take Tyson Jackson in first round
Bufcomments replied to Bufcomments's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
my whole reason for the post was that Everett Brown might be gone by the time the Bills pick (Green Bay maybe) If Brown is there he should be the pick Maybin who knows either he is another Dwight Freeney or he is a bust. or he is maybe a year away. I would like to see the Bills draft somebody to replace Kelsey period I think Jackson or maybe Robert Ayers A real DE with size is what im saying -
Bills should take Tyson Jackson in first round
Bufcomments replied to Bufcomments's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lol my other option was to trade down to get Pettigrew or did you read that far? -
Bills should take Tyson Jackson in first round

Well Kelsey is fast and has a high motor...I ask you is he working out...NOT -
my mock draft first 11 picks.... Lions....Matt Stafford QB Rams... Jason Smith OT KC.......Aaron Curry OLB Seahawks...Eugene Moore OT Browns..Brain Orakpo OLB Bengals...B.J. Ragi DT Raiders...Jeremy Maclin WR Jags...Micheal Crabtee WR Packers..Everette Brown DE/LB 49ers...Michael Oher OT Bills Tyson Jackson or Maybin ( maybe) I think it comes down between these two I am leaning towards Tyson Jackson at DE 6'4 296 Maybe not as fast as Maybin but would not be bulled over in stopping the run as I think Maybin would be. I think Maybin needs a yr in the weight room and we dont have that luxury to wait on him. Heck even if Jackson gets just 7 sacks this year he would be an upgrade over the non-productive Kelsey or I would trade down to get Pettigrew somewhere around the 20th pick were he would be more a value pick Either way the Bills get a starter than can help us out this year.

Im positive the Bills want to sign Peters and I think 10 million will do it But you have to ask yourself and I'm sure the Bills had to ask themselfs ...does this guy really want to play in Buffalo?? His actions over the last year and 1/2 it seems like he is a greedy me first type of player You have to earn your money in this league and I dont think that missing OTAs and training camp has helped him one bit. If he had came to all the team functions last year he would have been in a better position to ask for 11 millionbecause he would have been in game shape and would be an legit all-pro. But by not coming to camp and having a sub-par year has hurt Peters and I dont think he realizes that. But your right to say by him leaving it would create another hole but the NFL is a cold business Chambers, draft pick or Bell, Hangartner, Bulter and Walker would be our line. Could it be any worse than it was last year?? when are line was just average even with Peters??? I say if a deal isnt done before the draft I think the Bills will trade him because we all can see he is going to hold out again and that would hurt the team just as bad say if he wasnt here at all. my 6 cents because i posted to another thread and started one on peters
-
Denver has to be the laughingstock of the NFL right now... 1. Letting Mike Shanahan go 2. In the process of letting Jay Culter go a young gunslinger with experience 3. Just plain pissing off some of the most loyal fans in the NFL, maybe even more loyal than Bills fans and thats saying alot. If there was an award for being the dumbest owner in the NFL Bowen wins hands down. wonder if the Broncos are ready for the number 1 pick in next years draft ???

Peters to Eagles Potential Trade Discussion
Bufcomments replied to BillsNYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
my 2 cents.... The Bills hold the cards in this drama...Peters is under CONTRACT The Bills did not fold last year under Peters demands and they wont....I repeat wont fold again this year But they do realize that he is under paid for the LT position and at least they did offer him a nice pay raise But Peters did not do himself any favors by holding out last year. Look at Lee Evans , came to the OTAs and camp, work his ass off, showed commitment to the organization, got paid big time and maybe will have a breakout year with TO in the house. Thats how it should be done Peters is getting terrible advice from his agent. If I was Peters agent I tell his overweight ass to go to work and earn some respect back from the people at OBD and show that you are really trying to help this team make the playoffs. But I think they have to get this thing done before the draft or that may force the Bills to do something they do not really want to do and trade him I would take nothing less than a 1st and 3rd for Peters. Anything less and the Bills will have gotten played. -
I have seen alot of mock drafts and i dont see Pettigrew falling to the Bills in the second round Besides the need for a DE or LB outweighs the TE position There is talent this year @TE and the Bills would be better served waiting to get a TE in the second But my 2 cents on Pettigrews speed How fast to you need to be to run a seem patten from the 10 yd line in the red zone? Pettigrew best use in this offense is in the red zone We need an extra tall target for Trent in the RED ZONE and whoever they draft at the TE position this will be the main focus, a player that can help them in the red zone. TO and Lee will draw coverage on every play The TE will be one on one for the most part on every play. They need a TE that can just catch move the chain type of passes Pettigrew, Coffman, Cook...man they have alot of options for players that can do just that
