Both Farrah and Jackson on the same day and same town..... The 70's took a serious hit yesterday. I was driving when I heard the news. I had to stop the car and let it sink in. 50 yrs old is young and the way he acted he was even younger than that. I think the brother could not handle the mega success. He was too shy of a person. I had first though he was weird when he took both Brooke Shields and Emanual Lewis to that awards show back in the 80's. Brooke f**cking Shields, shyt shes a black mans dream and you not even got your arm all over that ice cream?? I thought he was soft after that. But sexual preference aside, he was the best showman on stage in my lifetime. Only the Boss comes close. I had every Jackson album had made. I always hope he didnt do anything to those young boys he had in his bed. But when you pay the kids family millions of dollars in hush money it makes you think he was guilty. But Mike has been judged by the creator and that the only one that counts Farrah gone too, but at least she put a brave fight against cancer but she didnt have to die, She choose to do a different treatment and it cost her. So sad, we now have only 2 angels left. I loved that show back in the day, didn't miss an episode of charlies angels when she was on the show Like somebody said I feel alot older today because of these 2 Deaths

I agree Simms I think is the best play by play guy right now. Aikman is semi ok but he is good with Buck Jr Im going to miss Madden paired with Al Michaels I like listening to Steve Tasker with Johnson but back to the post, I think Announcers are for people who dont really know the game. Sometimes I turn the sound down and just watch the game. If you are watching the game in a bar are you really listening to the broadcast anyway??

I can go to a corner store on Bailey Ave and buy a T.O. jersey name and letters sewn on for 50 bucks with the 50 yr patch on it to boot. or I can buy one of those Asian jerseys for 35 bucks shipping included. why pay more if you don't have to ???? If you can afford it, god bless ya but if you cant you get the best bang for your buck I say

one more thing and question about fergie People forget that Fergie played on the same very bad ankle during the 49er road game that clinched the division title in 1980 I remember that game just as much as the lost in San Diego during the playoff game maybe more so because we won. In what game did Fergie sprain his ankle?

I was born and raised in Buffalo .Went to High School and college here. In my early 20's I started to travel and lived in Miami, San Diego and for a little bit Atlanta. The Navy gave me a chance to see, Hong Kong, Singapore, Perth in Australia, Hawaii (Twice) I really loved San Diego. I wanted to stay after my military time was up but it is a very expensive town to live in. Back in the 90's a condo out there cost 700 bucks a month and it really wasnt a condo the way we know ...it was more a 2 bedroom apartment. So I came back home in 93' and I think it was a wise choice. Snow was never a problem with me, I love the change of seasons and after living threw an Earthquake ( 5.7) I will take 2 feet of snow over an Earthquake anyday folks. If there one thing this town knows how to do it deal with snow . We get 7 inches here and its just another day. 3 inches of snow in other cities they close down for the day. I liked the idea of living down south but the summers are way to hot for me. and it doesn't really cool off at night either. To me we have the most perfect summers ,not to hot, not to cool. I think to people that are turned off by the weather are soft , we cant control the weather so why make it a issue?? I love living here in Buffalo, houses are cheap so to speak, very good schools, parks, festivials are way better than average.And it is a really good place to raise kids. But the only way to get a decent job here ...and this is my opinion...you really have to know somebody important or you have family ties. I have been lucky to have both so I really dont have a problem finding a job, even though its not the best paying job in the world it pays for my house and car so I am content. Im afraid when my parents leave this earth, they are both from down south but came to Buffalo when manufacturing was just giving away high paying jobs...That I will most likely leave for Canada. And have dual-citizenship, hell I spend enough time up there as it is. And thats another reason I love living here.... If I want to go to a big town there is always Toronto to hang out at for the weekend. Its the old school politics that is holding the town from becoming an even better place to live. Taxes drive rich people and companies away. Its a shame too

Fergie with guys like T.O. and Evans with two above average running back would be a top 10 passer even today. He still is one of the best QBs to put on a Bills jersey IMO Utube has that San Diego playoff game is you havent seen it. I think it was posted on here not to long ago. Still believe if Fergie was healthy we would have won that game.

The first game in NE is huge No wait its HUGE. And I agree it is are best chance to beat them and I'm glad Brady is back so we get to see if we can win in NE against the Pats when everybody is healthy. and forget moral victories. I want them to WIN it straight up.

If you do buy a jersey make sure the numbers and name on the back are sewn on. this way they don't fade out over time like the iron on numbers But most of the sewn on ones are sold on ebay and the sites listed in earlier posts. I got a nice Lee Evans for 33 bucks on ebay from Korea ( 15 jersey, 18 shipping) took about a 11 business days to get here ( buffalo) But I was very pleased with the jersey. I tried to post pic but it was too large to post. As soon as I figure out how to post a smaller version I will. Jersey looks sharp and you really cant tell its a fake.

Second there seems to be people with first hand knowledge about the subject Even though I voted no in the poll it would bother me if Marshawn got his 3rd strike just for tokin something. I got a good story about this game. I had just moved to Miami to work with a friend of mine. I had only been there a few weeks and didnt know the town very well. I was all set to watch the game on TV but it was blacked out. So at the last minute I found myself on the bus no less making my way to Joe Robbie stadium. This is a small world I swear. On the bus I meet a older couple who were on there way to the game as well who happen to be retiries from Cheektowaga. They said hello to me just because I had a Bills hat on. I sat next to them on the bus and they said were are you sitting. I said I was taking a chance on getting a ticket. Luck on my side they told me there son had to work and they would sell me the extra ticket. Well we got to the staduim and had a "few" drinks and got to know them a little bit. They ended up giving me the ticket for free. I was surprised how many bills fans were in the section we were in. I clearing remember the last half of the 4th Quarter. Nate made a key INT to set things up. I thought they were going to lose up until that point. When Kelly scored we went crazy. I am glad I saw it because I think that game was the turning point for the franchise. It was my first road Bills game.

Very good lead post Biscutt I tend to agree with you that the Bills lack of turnovers is a concern. Maybe that is one of the reasons why they drafted Byrd to play free safety so he can make some plays and get some interceptions. I will focus on the defensive side of the Ball in my answer. I think the problem is two-fold. If you notice after the Cards game last year the pass rush was almost shut done completely. Other teams figured out what the Bills were doing with the Blitz package. It did not help when Aaron Schobel got hurt but come on. It seems like the coaching staff could not come up with pressure package with the players they had. I find this troublesome. These coaches are being paid way to much not to find a way to get the the QB. Getting to the QB with pressure you can create your own luck But lack of playmakers at LB , DE, and FS is not helping either. So there is a lack of talent issues with both the 07 and 08 teams. Does Ellison make game changing plays? Mitchell? well when motivated maybe. Poz? Whitner? My point being is the Bills dont have many game changers on the defense. In the 90's you had Bruce, Bennett, Talley, Odomes, Hansen, Kelso. These guys made plays when it counted , INT's, causing fumbles, sacks many in a timely manner. Until they get more game changers on Defense this will be a average team oh wait thats 8-8.

Jerseys at the Bills store numbers and letters are not sewn on. They tend to fade out over time. I bought an Moulds Jersey from the store back in 2002 when they changed the uniforms and the numbers are faded out now. and I never used the dryer with it. I always hang it to try, same thing with all my jerseys. I collect jerseys so know. I have Jim Browns 32 Walter Paytons 34 Earl Cambells 34, OJ 32 white pre-murders, just to name a few, all names and letters sewn on, all bought online ,none more than 35 bucks The jersey I bought on Ebay is much better IMO

I paid 35 bucks for a XXXL Lee Evans from Korea on Ebay. 15 for jersey 18 for shipping name and number sewn on and it looks better than anything in the Bills store I would never pay 70 bucks for a jersey when you can get it for half the price if you are willing to wait for shipping
