Totally agree EJ has to run more. If Nate wants this to be a ball control offense, he has to use the read option with EJ taking it around the corner every now and then. He needs opposing defenses to respect that. Just a few for first downs with EJ running will open other things up.

I got to take a big piece, was up in Buffalo for a birthday, got some new Bills hats and clothing and will wear is proudly. Also screw the refs who were trying to screw the Bills.

And my point was, yes every QB we have had since Kelly has been given an opportunity to show what they had, and not much of it was good. Nobody has been run of out town who shouldnt of been run out of town.

Yes nothing generates clicks in the national media like stories about the Bills front office, I suppose he will do a story about dysfunction in the Jags front office next and 20 diehard Jacksonville fans will flock there.

Manning was healthier than EJ last year. I dont know off the top of my head what our record the last 10 years against the Pats is but Im going to go out on a limb and say its not too good and Rogers is great.

It's definetly a big game. Every time I look at our schedule and see 3 of the last 4 against Manning, Brady and Rogers I think about every loss before that. If we lose to the Bears, realistically we would have to go 8-3 the rest of the way before the last 4 games to get to 9-7 and sniff the playoffs

Live in the heart of Stiller country. I dont hate or love them, enjoy the rivalry with the Ravens. I do respect their organization however.....complete 180 of the Bills. Constantly think about the draft they got Big Ben and we ended up with JP. And watching the Ravens(we get the division games) I curse, rue, hate whoever was responsible for taking Whitner when just about every mock draft had Ngata going to the Bills with that pick. I also think about Lebeau being the head coach, but that ship sailed years and years ago.

Never liked this trade. 2 1s is a franchise player for free agency. IMHO I thought we needed a tall Wr like Evans or Benjamin. I just had my fantasy draft as was thinking. most of the WRs going at the top are big physical receivers, not quite sure thats what Sammy is. Whaley better pray to god there isnt a good QB where the Bills pick next year because I dont want to miss out on another Rogers because somebody gave up too much for Losman. And no Im not comparing Watkins to Losman, just that I never like giving up next years no. 1. It just felt like a trade only Buffalo would make.

And Gilmore had gotten beat this preseason too. Shutdown and Gilmore should never be used in the same sentence unless the word NOT is in the sentence. Didnt Benjamin beat him for a TD this preseason?

Let's move off the topic of EJ and the front office. Can our D contain Forte and those 2 huge WRs, Marshall and Jeffrey?

Can we take the kid gloves off EJ? He's a guy only the Bills had rated that high. We took him in the first round when the smart money said he would go much later. We've surrounded him with a great stable of runningbacks, we mortgaged next years no. 1 for the top wr in the draft and traded for caveman Mike, Woods is good. This is most likely the best receiving core we've had in a decade. We added 4 new lineman in free agency and the draft. Now we added Palmer who can be more support for him in addition to the coaches added for him in the off season. Our defense is solid. It's the NFL, time to put your big boy pants on. So either take the next step or your holding back the other players on this team and wasting our time.

Tannehill seems like the next young QB to take the next step ala Dalton, their running game will be improved with Moreno(Lamar Miller stinks) and as for having a suspect OL....join the club.

I think EJs athleticism and running ability is overrated by most on this board. He doesnt make a quick decision like a Wilson or Kap, who see a hole and take off. He doesnt have the strength of a Big Ben. Nick Foles had a better YPC than EJ last year, on similar attempts and I dont think much of his running ability.
