  1. Must suck being you. Rude, obnoxious, STUPID. You probably ARE better off spending your money on the Bills. You're throwing it away with them, but at least you get a few beers out of it. I'd HATE to see what would happen if an !@#$ like you spent it on an education.
  2. Hard to argue that matchup. Still, the Saints just demolished the one team that I thought would bring them back to earth.
  3. HHhmmm...not a matchup I see for the Super Bowl. NFC Championship Game, maybe.
  4. It's starting to look like this is a possibility, albeit with a lot of football left to play this season. I had the Pats* winning before last night's game, I will admit. Who would win the Saints/Colts matchup were that to be the case?
  5. Fewell, or some other black coach will be interviewed...worry not. The most useless rule in the NFL will not be ignored. And before any of you morons go off calling me racist, what I mean by the above is that the rule does nothing to help black coaches actually get HIRED.
  6. Because you'd be comparing dog **** to horse ****.
  7. I visited with you guys during the Miami game this year at Ozzie's. I was the guy visiting my sick grandmother in St. Louis, but currently live in Florida. Did I encounter you?
  8. No, thanks. The left wouldn't support Bush, either, so don't give me that crapola. Take your Gestappo act elsewhere.
  9. Nor do I. But, some time away, if you're going to punish Bob Griese that way, is appropriate.
  10. 8. Your crackpipe gets a heavy dosage of Bohemian Glory, so you can hallucinate your way to that upset.
  11. I admire your loyalty. Honestly. I wish I could be that loyal. If they were just BAD, I could be. It's being this bad and seemingly getting worse that bothers me, and that the ownership just doesn't seem to CARE. I reserve that sort of loyalty for my wife. The whole "thick and thin" thing. A couple of years ago, I just sort of woke up and said, "why be this loyal to an NFL team when there are 31 other teams I can watch?". And this is just a question for you...not picking on you at all, but just a curious thing for me. If the seemingly inevitable happens and this team moves on to pastures in LA, Toronto, or wherever, will you still continue that loyalty, or will you be angry for it, or what WILL you feel like?
  12. I have done that in the past, but this season has sparked so much hatred in me for how the team has peformed AND hasn't fired anyone AND lets good offensive linemen go so they can afford the TO freakshow (who, btw, has impressed me thus far for his ability to keep his mouth shut) that I went completely 360 on the team. I live in Florida and root for...THE DOLPHINS. Was a LOT of fun a couple Sundays ago when I attended the Bills/Fins game. Inside, I feel like a little bit of a traitor, but hey...if the ownership doesn't care about the fanbase, why should I care about the team? Once Ralph croaks, they're probably gone, anyway.
  13. While I don't necessarily agree with this observation just yet, the sentiment is still understood. It's clear from the way that Freddy has run and what we already know that Lynch brings to the table, and the complete (and baffling) ineptness in the passing game, that pounding the rock is our key to victory. I don't know who should start, and I really don't care. This is our version of thunder and lightning, and we need to give our opponent a steady dose of both.
  14. So you're saying then, that Olberman himself has never gotten his point across to you....'cause that's all that guy ever does.
  15. If by "has more" you mean "massages", I completely agree.
  16. On a side note, It's been years, and I think he worked for WBEN then, but I met Bulldog at the Bills training camp when it was in Fredonia. Jim Kelly's final year, as I recall it. I'm nobody, and he treated me with decency and had a conversation with me. Stand-up dude, I thought. I always enjoyed his show and followed him when he went over to WGR. I hear the show on the 'net, as I live in Orlando, and yeah, they can get rude, condescending, and antagonistic. But, you know what? There are two things that come to mind when I hear this. First off, do you want to hear a bunch of "go team" crapola when your team is obviously sucking or needs some changes, or would you prefer to listen to people who are just as pissed off about the loss as you are? I go for the latter. Secondly, are you kidding me? People in or from Buffalo having the nerve to call another Buffalonian out for being rude and condescending?? It's in your freaking DNA, people! Teapot=Kettle=Black I never read buffalobills.com...I don't want puff. I want the real deal. I want to revel in a win and have company in my pain in a loss. If I have to listen to people be rude to get that, I'm just fine with it.
  17. Nerd? Do people still use that word? Wow. That's so tubular.
  18. Welcome. Pretty good folks here, for the most part. As far as the game is concerned, I don't know if NOLA is quite as good as they have opened up the season so far, but I can tell you that Drew Brees is a flat BEAST...he's had a chip on his shoulder since he left 'Diego, and it's showing in his outstanding play. I don't want to go so far as to say this is going to be a shootout, but it could. Trent has the occassional "turd" game, but he is kinda developing a rep around here as "Captain Checkdown". Last week, he aired out several passes, and I don't know if I saw him do that in 5 or 6 straight games combined last season. If our new OC continues to go for the deep ball and if we can establish our running game to set up the play action to get man coverage on TO and Evans, I'd say the Bills have a shot. If it DOES get into a shootout, you have to like NOLA's chances of winning a bit more with your QB being better than ours. Gregg Williams..what can we say? We don't like him much around these parts. It's a double-edged sword this week. I do think that the no-huddle is going to throw him off because of his substitution packages, but do we really want to hurry things up so much and give Brees that many more opportunities? Bottom line is this...if the Bills don't finish off their drives, they lose...plain and simple. If we DO, I think our defense is going to be a tad better than NOLA's and make the difference in a Bills victory.
  19. A few more games where TO only gets thrown to four times, and you'll soon find that out.
  20. I'm starting to genuinely feel sorry for Buffalo Bills fans. I wanted to punch Brett Favre in the face after he had that long run. He was LAUGHING at your defense. A quarterback shouldn't be able to do that.
  21. Here, here! Now THERE'S a guy that gets it.
  22. Toronto is one nice city, though, isn't it? Good place for the Dolphins to call home, 'cause that's what it looked like.
  23. chuckle, chuckle...heh heh heh. Really? Is this truly what you are reduced to? Pssssst. Lean over here and let me tell you a secret. When they move to Toronto, they will no longer be known as the Buffalo Bills....pass it on. I think you're off the mark, though, when it comes down to "blank checks". There is a salary cap in place. Wilson is just a meiser who won't spend the money because Boofalonians keep filling his seats regardless of how bad the product is. The other part of it is that the real stars won't play there. Why would anyone want to live in Buffalo? I, for one, completely understood what Willis McGahee was talking about when he left that dump, though, I've been to Baltimore, too. Not much of an improvement, let me tell ya. When the Billies move on for greener pastures in Toronto, they WILL be competitive, because presumably, they won't be owned by Ralph Wilson and free agents will want to play in a dome in one hell of a PARTY TOWN! I've never had more fun than I've had in Toronto when I want to enjoy the nightlife. I wonder, though. With Rogers going off to that big igloo in the sky, does the move to Toronto appear as obvious as it did before?
