  1. I've finally turned against McDermott and Beane. Other than Josh they don't have a track record
  2. Allen hasn't looked sharp all year, except for the 4th quarter VS Baltimore. That said, the rest of this team is trash, injured trash, or trash that can't tackle
  3. I agree to an extent, but this team has a fatal flaw which has been apparent for some time, and getting worse the past two years.... That is, our defense isn't good. Our secondary is in shambles, and our LBs are always injured or underperforming. Let's hope the reinforcements that come after this game help improve the pass rush, which will help mask our secondary weaknesses. Also, Benford has been playing like crap, but that should normalize at some point - at leased based on what is a pretty large sample size. I'm not too concerned about him.
  4. I prefer Beirut (beer pong but with quarters instead of pingpong balls). I also heard he was good at chopping down trees with an axe with the blade guard still on! Flonkeryton, love it! Or at least of the US. Most of us could do better than the current standard.
  5. Good for you. The world has so much to offer. The US is is becoming a scary place, and I say that as a combat veteran. My dad went through a very serious health scare earlier this year. It was tough and go for a while and even he was out of the danger area, it was a lot of work and stress for my wife and I (both 40s, no kids). I'm sure you're looking forward to a break! We were and our issue was only 4 months- not 3 years! Good luck
  6. I think this will be a difficult game for us. The Bills are winning by low double digits but something overall just seems slightly off. In previous years, this team would have stacked more points and put the game away earlier. I hope I'm wrong, but I think this is our first loss of the year. If so, I expect it galvanizes the team we we end the season with 2 more losses total and secure the #1 seed. The talent is there, I just think we need to stop being sloppy and put it all together for 60 minutes
  7. Honest question: how do you get turf burn on your leg and @$$ if you have pants covering skin?
  8. I suppose because it would be a lot of work to change signals or have multiple groups of signals that can be changed out. I suspect it also increases the risk of error significantly. There are many very intelligent players in the game. But if we're being honest plenty more that tend towards the opposite side of the intelligence spectrum. Having players memorize different signal systems from week to week or month to month would be a lot of work and if players can't seemlessly from one set of signals to another, the reward doesn't outweigh the risk. You can't have most your online men pulling one way and one pulling the other. Just my $.02
  9. Lions are the best team in the NFL. Their week 1 loss was flukey. If they stay healthier than last year they will be a force of nature
  10. Do you think he has a lingering injury or playing it "safer" to possibly avoid another concussion? I'm worried too. Actually now that I think about it, didn't he get kicked in the balls or have his wind knocked out before halftime... Maybe he was a little sore?
  11. 1- Forgot about that! Who does that to AD, seriously. I mean I guess it was the right call because he had his fingers into his facemask, but most other QBs would have wilted under that type of pressure from Donald 2- Time to start the letter writing campaign. Call your congress person Bills Mafia!
  12. Yeah, I see that now and edited my post. I think Google is under counting by one though. Also, in my mind, Josh will always have 1 less INT than the record books show. I can't remember the exact play, but against the Rams in 2020, he threw to one of the WR and it was caught even thought the defender had a hand on it. Tie is supposed to go to the receiver. I remember even the commentators were perplexed by that one. It was a close game and if we had lost, probably would have been a bigger deal than it ended up being. Does anybody remember that INT? Maybe one of you can post the video (I'm lazy). Josh got screwed on that one.
  13. He only has 269 TD total (according to quick google search). Revised the search to include playoffs and it's 299. Have to assume that google is wrong and that NFL's tweet is correct. So thankful we have JA17.
  14. Down, but definitely not out. They will be in the playoffs and their performance will improve at the season wears on and their WR come bac from injury. Definitely a dangerous team.
  15. NY style pizza is pizza! Chicago style is awful. It's basically a lasagna or a casserole with the name pizza slapped on it. So, we hate the Jets as much as we hate Chicago Style Pizza, or anything that Pizza Hut, Papa John's, etc. calls pizza.
  16. Agreed, I don't even know what establishing one's self in the normal sense means? I suppose you have to have 2 feet in bounds and make a play on the ball or tackle the carrier?
  17. Can anybody explain why the Coleman 2-pt didn't count? He clearly stepped out but I think they said on the broadcast that he was forced out and then questioned what he needed to do to make himself eligible again. That was all that was said. Anybody know the answer to this?
  18. Not taking anything away from our team, but sometimes the better team doesn't win. The luckier team does. Both are top team in the NFL, but I think Baltimore was a little better for the most part.... BUT, as others have said, games are lost more than they are won. Baltimore took their foot off the gas, Oliver made a play to spark our offense and Josh & Co. snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. We certainly got lucky with some plays (tip TD to Coleman, the game winning FG wasn't blocked, the touch back, the non INT), but we also got screwed on some PI calls and of course the Josh 1st down slide that wasn't. I think we had better luck in key moments and both our O and D did what they needed to in those key moments. Ravens win this game if they would have stayed concentrated, not take their foot off the gas and should have gone for it on 4th and 3. Those were their mistakes and they cost them the game. We're 1-0 and have a tie breaker. It's a good day.
  19. Did Walker help free up Oliver to let me be more dynamic (which he was of course)?
  20. As you all know, we didn't play most of our starters in pre season. Other than the opening drive which was scripted and the the defensive stop holding them to a FG on the Ravens opening drive- we stunk for the majority of the first half. The drive before halftime was ok, and although we let the Ravens answer our scores in the 3rd quarter, we seemed to play a bit sharper as the game wore on. Now, we all know that the Bills under McBean are a bit Jekyll and Hyde in week one, do any of you think that if we would have played our starters more in preseason, the game wouldn't have gotten this out of hand? The Ravens rested most of theirs and they looked good most of the game- but obviously a different coach and a different team. This is what I was telling myself when we were down late in the third and to start the fourth. Pure cope on my behalf I think. Just wondering what you all think.
  21. Palmer just watching that near int
