  1. Hopefully, in 6 short weeks, they'll be on TV on a Monday morning whinging about how he's the worst QB ever to win a Super Bowl.
  2. The NextGenStats for separation and expected completion percentage do not support any of these opinions. How about that Brown in Baltimore with Lamar vs Brown in Buffalo with Allen comparison?
  3. Hmmm...compare Brown's stats with Jackson at QB last year to his stats with Allen at QB this year and get back to us... Also, aren't you the same guy that said that Daboll schemes our WRs open but they drop the ball? Is there any consistency in your takes aside from "BAD JOSH"?
  4. They also drafted Andrews after they took Hurst--who was drafted 8 picks before Lamar. Baltimore spent 1st round picks on pass catchers for Lamar in consecutive drafts, and backed it up by taking Andrews in the 3rd and signing Ingram. ^More for clarification on their investment in the skill positions than anything else.
  5. Wake up man. 2 years into Brady's career you'd have traded him for Favre...and you'd have been proven an idiot for doing so. When you've got a kid that looks like he can win long-term, you don't trade him away, you build around him. That you miss the forest for the trees on every Allen-related discussion is not a surprise. You're waaaaaaaay too invested in being right about him. A bit of friendly advice: let it go. Your evaluation was wrong. You can move on and gain back a lot of credibility if you stop trying so hard to plead your case.
  6. I have said from the beginning that I like both players. So yeah, go ahead and add me...while you're at it, add 99% of this board to the list of people that believe your football opinions are tantamount to lunacy
  7. More insane than sincerely believing that 20 QBs would have more TDs for this team than the guy that has the 6th most among QBs? ?
  8. This is great Nothing like a "we get no respect" pro bowl snub to drive up the motivation for a playoff run
  9. That's a totally reasonable and defensible position
  10. The nuanced view is even more hilarious actually. We've got a guy that's claiming 20 other QBs would be more productive than Allen in this situation. Or in other words: this situation is so good for a QB that you can get better production--better than 6th in the NFL in TDs by a QB--from any of 20 guys...meanwhile he's claiming in another post on this board that the WRs don't catch the ball reliably and the OL doesn't block well. It's actually bordering on insane if you break it down. 22 out of 32 is not good...but it's not horrible. Hyperbole is the enemy of rational thinking. You're simply out to lunch.
  11. He says this on the back of Also claiming that the WRs aren't good and the OL isn't good. He's...unique...to say the least
  12. I promise I'm not going to call you dumb... I am, however, going to point out that you believe that there are 20 QBs that would be more productive than the guy that's 6th among QBs in TDs. And that's an incredibly stupid statement.
  13. Physically he's a Sammy clone
  14. I love Aiyuk for Buffalo. He can fly and he competes on every snap
  15. Oh Allen was brutal. I was speaking more to the lack of designed targets to backs and TEs. I'm saying that the scripted plays should be designed to go to them since we have a matchup advantage there (along with McKenzie in 11 sets).
  16. Indeed. Not sure why it's so difficult to just call it down the middle. Allen has work to do; that's no reason to make outlandish claims about how good or bad he is at the moment
  17. No silly, we need to ignore wins and him ranking 6th among QBs in total TDs and focus on yards and passer rating because reasons.
  18. Ok now you're making things up. Nobody said the opposite in any way, shape, or form. That's an outright lie. You use adjectives like "severely limited" and statements like "last in every metric" when it's utterly untrue. There's no reason to get upset when folks point that out. The fact of the matter is that the defense is great, but it's factually incorrect to credit them with any wins when they've scored zero points. Not a difficult concept. NE's defense has scored 5 touchdowns. They've scored another 3 on blocked punts. THAT'S winning games in spite of the offense.
  19. Huh. So my memory of Seattle having the #1 scoring defense for 4 straight seasons is inaccurate? Defense has scored zero points. They keep the team in games, but they have won zero games without the offense doing their job. 22nd in scoring is below average, not terrible, not bad, and certainly not inept. Stop trying so hard to make it look worse than it is; it further damages your credibility.
  20. So you're saying that Allen is more like Russell Wilson then?
  21. You made a girl cry. Over football. That's called "doing road games right".
  22. Imagine this song with an overlay of Bills' defensive highlights and big hits: Now that's some intimidation
  23. I'll throw at KVN all day. He couldn't cover my 14 month old with a blanket. Collins isn't the player he used to be. He can handle his business against most TEs because he's disciplined and still has decent speed. He's not going to man up against Knox. They'll probably try to play zone underneath and keep Josh from killing them with his legs. If he can stay patient in the pocket and hit some early plays to McKenzie and the backs/TEs, they can jump out to an early lead.
