  1. If Dawson Knox throws a legal block on—or even gets in the path of—Cunningham on Josh’s sweep in OT then this wouldn’t matter and we’d be on to KC
  2. No offense, but is he so good at KR (a play that may happen 2-3 times per game) and PR that you’d be comfortable devoting a roster spot to him even though he probably can’t help you at any other position even if there’s an injury? Also, it’s not criminal to PS a guy for 2 years. He’s never played football.
  3. Where is the Jaquan love coming from? He played 53 defensive snaps in 2019.
  4. My money is that he’s the 11th on the PS again. Sorry, but there’s just too much to learn going from rugby to NFL RB to get to the point where you can be of great enough value to be on a 53 in a single year. Learning an NFL playbook is hard enough for a seasoned college player, let alone a relative noob. Then there’s the technical fine points of the game. I think he’s a year away still.
  5. Not much aside from that he’s had input into game plans in both Carolina and Buffalo Interesting idea
  6. An educated guess on what could happen if Dabes gets a HC gig: Dorsey promoted to OC with Derek Anderson getting added to the staff.
  7. Cam Lewis has a legitimate shot to make the 53 next fall
  8. Yep. WR1 in FA, RB2 in FA, WR early in the draft, and then the Bandit Special: Lynn Bowden in the draft! Gives you a versatile, Taysom Hill type threat that makes teams stop and think every time he’s on the field.
  9. Oh yeah, they’re brutal. The downside is that Brown is too cantankerous to either trade him or let him walk. He’ll tag him and expect him to play another year. Just start Nsekhe dangit!!!
  10. John Brown missed 29 games in 4 seasons when the Bills tried to sign him prior to the 2018 season. There are always exceptions to the rule.
  11. I think some folks would be surprised to learn how close he came to becoming a Bill in October You guys are nuts. If Allen could actually get the ball to his WRs, then Smoke and Beasley would’ve had their best seasons of their careers in 2019. Wait...
  12. If Adrian Amos is worth $9M AAV then so is Poyer all day long
  13. Not to anyone with a microphone in his face.
  14. Darn right. Not just because of his performance, or because he’s entitled to maximize his value, but also because the dude sacrifices his body to stop the run in a way that few other DBs his size are willing to. He makes about 33% of his open market value and he’s on his 2nd contract. IMO that’s massively underpaid
  15. Of course it will. Not like they’ve been caught doing this among a number of other things year after year.
  16. He’s tied for the 30th paid safety in the NFL in terms of AAV. He’d probably get $9M per on the open market; right now he’s getting $3.25M. No sweat. He’s not unhappy here, but he definitely knows that he’s massively underpaid and wants his once-in-a-lifetime pay day.
  17. Hyde, Tre, and LorAx more or less talked him out of holding out
  18. He considered holding out this offseason FWIW
  19. What. Are. You. Talking. About. People on here have officially lost their minds
  20. So now Allen blew the lead too? I’m gonna take a break for a few days until Allen Derangement Syndrome wears off ?
  21. Not really on either account, but you do you man. Feel free to show me where I said he was really good. I’d say “I’ll wait”, but I’d be here for the rest of my life
  22. Oh good, another person that needs to put words in someone’s mouth in order to discuss Allen. It’s an epidemic around here
  23. Thanks for being the judge of what we need to know. Also you’re nuts.
  24. That last paragraph is worth responding to because it’s an accurate description of the difference between the two guys yesterday. No doubt that he’s got to handle himself better when the ? hits the fan. I’d like to think that another year of experience and a group of pass catchers in which he’s got more trust will help a lot, but we’ll see.
