  1. Oh don't get me wrong: I'd be elated to find out that they got Star for that amount
  2. I don't think Shaq is a great fit for Pittsburgh, otherwise I'd say yes
  3. That would be, IMO, absolute highway robbery. Justin Ellis, who is nowhere near the player that Star has been, just re-signed for $5M AAV with Oakland. I'm thinking that getting Star--a highly-regarded player that was a top-15 pick and was on the open market--for less than 2x that amount would be a fair deal.
  4. Indeed...if he comes in at my number I'll be okay. Anything over $10M AAV and I'll wonder what Beane was thinking.
  5. I'm going to say $47.5M total with $25M gtd
  6. I'd offer Pick 96 for him--bonus: he doesn't count against the comp pick formula
  7. I'll pass on Preston too--I'm not paying $9M for any off-ball 'backer with the draft class that's coming. I can get two off-ball LBs that can rotate to fill positions alongside Milano and LorAx with Round 3-5 picks.
  8. If $9M is the number, then I was out anyway
  9. Looks like NFL GMs have been paying attention Mahomes to Sammy? Please tell me that we don't play them in 2018
  10. Bandit made the call that the Vikings should make the call
  11. I'm not quite as bad when it comes to trades, but I've banged the table in favor of flipping a 5th rounder for Travis Benjamin, and I would be more than happy to send LAC a higher pick for Corey Luiget if they're selling.
  12. I don't know if I'd go that high in terms of pick compensation, but yes, I'd take the player all day.
  13. That's part of the reason that Jax held up against them for 3-1/2 quarters in the AFCCG; Telvin and Jack can basically cover like nickel corners
  14. Slot guy and former LB I'd prefer to keep Leonard Johnson though; lower cost for a lower-value position.
  15. They currently have close to $36M in cap dollars dedicated to the WR position.
  16. I still think that they're going to move from 4 to 2 after the first wave of FA to ensure that they get both their QB and Barkley
  17. I'm talking about the Browns trading a pick for Tyrod. By getting a guy that's a short-term solution at QB, they're more or less saying that the QB that they draft at No. 1 overall won't be ready to start day 1.
  18. Sign a 1-year deal for prove-it money, put up numbers with Rodgers, sign massive FA deal in 2019
  19. @Kirby Jackson and I have been talking about this; there's no way that they want to keep all 3 of Cobb/Nelson/Adams at a combined cap hit of $47M
  20. Trading a pick for Tyrod tells me that they're drafting someone that they don't think will be ready to play day 1. That's either Darnold or Allen.
  21. That would be incredibly odd if the guy wouldn't be willing to play RT for LT money
  22. JMO, but having 2 good OTs is more valuable than 1 OT plus a draft pick and $3M in cap space.
  23. Yeah, if I had to guess, I'd say Cousins to Minnesota, Keenum to Denver, and Foles to Arizona are the big QB dominoes.
  24. For the purpose of what, a mid-round pick or two and $3M in cap space? What's so wrong with having 2 good OTs?
