That's fair. I think that there's Fletcher Cox upside there if he unlocks it, which is why I think he's not a bad fit at 9. If they don't feel that way then yeah, there's no way they should pick him there

I think Wilkins is a better bet than Shaq--he's got the violent hands and initial quickness that you can't teach...he's the kind of guy whose deficiencies--like functional strength and contact balance--can be improved in an NFL strength program.

It's not so much weaknesses in his game at OT as it is where I think he's best suited to play. He looks much more comfortable moving down the LOS than away from it, his reaction time is terrific, and he can work his way through traffic and hit targets. To me, those traits, combined with his excellent play recognition, scream center. People will tell you that he's not OT material because he lacks length and contact balance on the EDGE, but I think that's overstated. It's just that OT isnt his best position. He can likely be a fine RT, but I'm not looking for "fine" or a RT in the first round.

I'm not a big OT-at-9 guy, but if that's the direction they go, I really hope it's Taylor or Dilliard. I like Jonah, but to me he's a center that can probably be a fine guard and an emergency option at OT. I feel the same way about Risner FWIW

Good question. They really don't have too many players to re-sign in 2020. They could extend Tre White, though he'd have 1 year on his contract AND a team-option year for 2021. Milano, Poyer, and Dawkins will head into 2020 on the final years of their deals, so they could be candidates as well. I suppose you could look at Jerry Hughes and Jordan Phillips too if you really wanted to...so I guess I say all of that to say that I expect a few big signings in 2020. Obviously things will change, but all of the tagged pass rushers like Lawrence/Clowney/Clark could be available. There's also guys like AJ Green and Bobby Wagner.

No need...they can use up all of their cap space for 2019 and still enter 2020 in a similar position as they entered 2019. As of today, they have the 13th-most players signed for 2020 and have the 11th-most cap space. Assuming they keep all 10 draft picks, and 7 of them make the team, they'll probably end up in the top-10 for both metrics.

Yeah, I'm assuming that they have between 30 and 35 in space now, and are going to want to keep 15-20 in reserve for draft picks and in-season moves. So they have ~15 left in AAV to toss out, which means either one splash move or a few tier-2 moves.
