  1. I predict that you won't last 2 hours on this board, cmdjr
  2. More or less. But the NFL is a weird, and sometimes teams just play well above expectations. Honestly I'm grasping at straws because I really don't understand why I feel so certain of victory. There's no way I'd pick the Bills this week.
  3. The Bills' last 2 victories against Brady included pick-6's. This one will too. And no, I still can't explain this feeling of an impending victory that defies all logic.
  4. Edelman has better speed and COD skills; Beasley has him in terms of short-area quickness. But in the end, they share one common trait that makes a dangerous slot receiver: they understand angles and how to make defenders change their leverage to create space.
  5. Yep, that works. I've most often taken Sowles all the way to 75, which is about 2 miles more out of the way, but the traffic is pretty much non existent.
  6. If you can, park south of the stadium and head west toward route 5. Almost nobody goes that way. If you avoid 219 and McKinley Pkwy you'll generally be alright.
  7. Okay, this means nothing, but... I woke up this morning with the unshakable feeling that we are going to beat them...no clue why, because I really don't see how that happens. For the record, the last time I can remember feeling like this before a NE****** game was back in September of 2011.
  8. Yeah I saw your last post. I wouldn't disrupt my inside 3 if I'm Coach Scarr. McDermott loves to send pressure up the A-gaps and they're going to need to keep the interior clean for at least 2.5 seconds.
  9. No offense here: I am thoroughly confused as to where you think Thuney will play and why. The Thuney discussion started because you said they'd move him to RT if Newhouse can't go at LT. Now you seem to be saying he won't do so. Ok. That makes more sense.
  10. Yeah, in an emergency you could do worse, but in a game where Tommy Boy is going to need time to pick apart a formidable pass defense, he's not a guy I expect to hold up on the EDGE. You...just said that they'd play Thuney at RT??? Also, I think Von Miller and Demarcus Ware would disagree
  11. Thuney to RT won't be good. I say this as a guy that liked Thuney a lot coming out of NC State. And Cannon is not up to the task for handling Hughes. He abused him a few years ago.
  12. They'll be 4-0 at the quarter poll, and know that they can beat anyone... ...how they handle themselves moving forward is an entirely different question.
  13. He had much worse ones than that. MUCH worse.
  14. I liked it when NE "fans" left the game as soon as Brady got hurt in 2008. Like, immediately left in the first half.
  15. Well, the fact that he coughed one up in a similar situation in the preseason sticks in folks' minds. He hadn't had many touches for this team, so 2 fumbles deep in opposing territory are definitely going to get people's attention.
  16. Until you see him improve huh? So the faster release time, improved accuracy, sustained drives, 3rd down conversion rate, and 4th quarter passer rating don't look like an improvement to you? If it's not enough at this point, that's fine, but acting as though he hasn't improved dramatically from a guy that was playing at Wyoming 18 months ago is a laughable position. No offense intended there.
  17. They're going to have to get pass production out of their backs and TEs--NE's LBs aren't great in coverage, and that's really the only place that Buffalo has a noteable advantage. I should note that I include Slick McKenzie as part of this group. I would absolutely be lining him up in the backfield and getting him touches just to ensure that there's a wrinkle that NE has to adjust their game plan against
  18. If you read this board, you'd know that you're out of bounds here. Gunner is an excellent evaluator of prospects--as good as anyone on this board and certainly as good as most of the talking heads on TV. He gets 'em wrong sometimes. We all do. But if you want to pick on him for it, you should also know that he's the guy that called Dak Prescott a borderline first round pick when everyone else had him as a day 3 guy. He's right a lot more often than he's wrong. Gunner and I don't always agree on draft prospects, and that's why I value his opinion. He's going to be right about some guys that I miss on, and vice versa. But when it comes to trashing his take on a player, slow your roll; he's already done a complete 180 and called Allen the most likely franchise QB from the 2018 class.
  19. For me, that thread should teach one very important lesson: No, you don't KNOW any prospect's career arc before he's drafted.
  20. I guess somehow I missed all of those posts. I have literally no recollection of that--and believe me I'd have noticed (for obvious reasons).
  21. My family is Jewish and I thought (and still think) that Rosen's a jerk. Not sure why not liking him has to be politically-motivated or bigoted.
  22. Meh, we've seen it from the Pats. Back in 2014, the Cold Front was wrecking NE's OL in the first half, so they played the entire second half in max protect and we didn't get near Brady.
  23. I count two misses by Josh of wide open receivers that would've been TDs. For the record, the first one was on a drive that ended in a TD. The second ended in a FG. I get what you're saying, but in this case the context sort of belies the case.
  24. No, nobody already has him in the HOF. You don't need to straw man to make a point. I was among the most consistent supporters of Allen pre-draft, and I'm only cautiously optimistic at this point. Are folks excited? Yes, and deservedly so. Has anyone anointed him as the GOAT? Not even close.
  25. Too early for right/wrong threads IMO, so I'll hold on my ITYS for a while longer
