Bills at Browns Pre-Game thread
thebandit27 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sure that McDermott has no idea that Hunt could be in the lineup today. There's no chance that they will be prepared for him to have a package of plays. -
I've had a sneaking suspicion that he's going to score a TD this game. Pick-6, scoop 'n' score, something. I also think that Allen will have a huge game--only because I'm facing him in fantasy, and every QB that I face has a HUGE game. Like 4+ TDs huge.

Absolutely. As I said earlier this week: I'll be ecstatic if they go down in history as the worst team ever to win a Super Bowl
-
I agree that Cleveland is more talented than the others. I simply think that there's no point in looking for validation in any win that doesn't come against what mainstream folks would consider a premier squad
-
I hardly see how beating a 2-6, downtrodden team that got blown out by that same Titans team you're knocking will somehow legitimize the Bills. Of course, anyone knocking Buffalo for their weakness of schedule may also choose to acknowledge that they'd very likely be 7-1 had Josh not gotten hurt against NE. Almost no chance he doesn't punch it in from inside the 5 where Barkley couldn't.

Play 'em both. Put Nsekhe out there as your 6th OLman instead of playing Lee Smith.
-
Anyone else watch that game and think that the Bills would very likely beat either of those teams even on the road?

Joe "The Show" Schoebert does NOT suck, and I'll have words with anyone that says otherwise.

I think Cleveland is a team that is capable of having a very good day and coming out with a much-needed win. The key for me is going to be pass protection. Keep Garrett and Vernon (if he plays) off of Allen and take advantage of their shaky coverage unit outside of Ward. Defensively, get hats into the backfield against the run and force Baker to make big plays.

You know how I know when someone is out of arguments? They make things up. In this instance, you've pulled from thin air an idea that somehow I don't like Lamar or am angry about...something? Not sure. As is typical for totally-made-up arguments, this one wasn't very well developed. And it couldn't be further from the truth, as I've been quite consistent that I like and believe in all 5 of the 2018 QBs. I think Lamar is good. Maybe very good. We'll see. And I'm thrilled that they decimated the Patsies. Why wouldn't I be? I just happen to be able to watch them objectively and put their performances into context. Try it sometime.

Oh, HE curb stomped them? Maybe my memory is going, but I thought it was the 200+ rushing yards lead by Mark Ingram's astounding 7.7 yards per carry average and a defense that held Brady to 285 yards on 40+ attempts that blasted the Patsies. But if it suits your agenda to credit the win solely to Lamar's 160 passing yards and 3.8 yards-per-carry rushing performance, then you do you man. Some of us actually watch the games.

You find that depressing? I find it hilarious

I don't know; Brown had 2 pretty brutal drops today. I guess since I watch every game each week I feel like I see a lot of other WRs make much better plays on the football than ours. Just look at that KC-Minnesota game today; Tyreek Hill singlehandedly made Matt Moore's passing day with 3 separate solo efforts in contested catch situations. Not saying that I expect anyone on this team to be Hill; only that there's a significant difference when Hill goes for the ball and when John Brown lets today's deep ball slip through his hands despite having position on the defender.
