  1. Pearl Jam Neil Young AC/DC was a good suggestion.
  2. This "football guy" line is repeated by everyone there and makes me skeptical as it is in direct response to fans' criticism of the front office and Russ Brandon running the show. Ralph Wilson said that about 50 times in the Nix promotion press conference, and I have heard it reapeated by everyone since.
  3. I would be happy. i think it may be a little far-fetched...
  4. This is the truth. Maybe he would be a minor upgrade from what we have, but there are many minor upgrades out there... without the distractions and BS. I dont want this guy here influencing any players. signing vick IMO would be a completely wrong direction for the team at the QB position.
  5. it will all come down to how serious the NFL is (if at all) about keeping a franchise in Buffalo. They would have to make an exception to the rules and someone with money and power would have to put the effort into organizing this. The NFL rule now is something like a team has to have no more than 30 or 35 owners and 1 of the owners has to own a majority... something like that.
  6. Cmon Beerball. The Bills still have a whole lot of misery in store for us.
  7. St Louis to Los Angeles New England to Toronto Miami to San Antonio problem solved
  8. not to mention ticket revenue is split 60/40 with the away team
  9. yeah, hopefully Vick can rub off on a young promising quarterback. That would be positive.
  10. This would be horrible. It would be counter productive to the rebuilding of this team it would confirm that the front office is only F'ing with us and is F.O.S. Barnum and Bailey Circus I dont think Vick is very good at all, and he is a subhuman
  11. I think I have that at home... The headline reads "end of the road" or somehing like that.
  12. Bradford must be the pick
  13. a couple more days and maybe they will be asking Fitzpatrick to play
  14. I definitely would love to see the other team get a chance to match... or beat the receiving team. It would bring up some interesting strategy when the first team has the ball... do they try for a long field goal, go for it on 4th and 1 from the 3... do they trust their defense to not let up a TD.... etc....
  15. what a garbage ending
  16. The Sabres looked pretty decent last night. Nabokov got the 1st Star even though he let in 2 goals. Basically this road trip isnt a failure unless the wheels fall off... and they havent. They have lost a few games, but have not looked bad and have fought hard. they still have a decent lead in the division, which is the important thing. Grabbing the #3 spot is huge.
  17. I hate the Jets. I work with some Jets fans though and they have actually been really genuinely excited without being obnoxious. They are just waiting for the heartbreak and really didnt think they had much of a chance against San Diego and arent too confident for the Indy game.
  18. they looked very good that 1st period. Train wreck power play though. They will have to keep it up to stay on top of the Sharks though. Hopefully they can keep that top line bottled up. Seeing Heatley again gives me diarreah
  19. this dude is only going to follow/execute Gailey's orders
  20. wow. thats pretty informative
  21. I dont know why the NFL just cant expand
  22. The Bills may need a few things to fall into place. Before Ralph passes: 1. Jacksonville moves to LA 2. The NFL is seriously ready for a round of expansion. and then 3. Jacobs, Rich Jr., Golisano, Billionaire X or any combination have serious interest in buying the Bills.
  23. maybe Im just used to Gary Bettman and the nHL's way of doing things. They seem to defend their existing franchises no matter what when somebody targets them or bad news comes out on financials. if it were the NHL, and the report came out that the behemoth was specifically targeting, say the Tampa Bay Lightning... The NHL would come forward within a day or 2 with a statement to put people in Tampa Bay at ease.
  24. I had the same thoughts, but maybe he is. He doesnt seem to display the same ego as a lot of successful head coaches portray. He might be content in working in football and not in a role where he receives the pressure a head coach gets
  25. We gotta keep filling that stadium. The NFL's silence on this matter is deafening though.
