  1. Kalil, always have been and always will be a firm believer in the most important part of the field is the front lines.
  2. I'll just leave this here http://denver.sbnation.com/denver-broncos/2012/3/20/2887058/tim-tebow-trade-rumors-bills-jaguars
  3. I sure as hell do. That speaks volumes to the other guys on the field if your quarterback of all people is fighting through something as painful as a broken rib. You know how much it must have hurt to have 350lb lineman fall on top of you? And every week Fitz fought for every yard, hardly every sliding in open field. He might not throw the ball that well sometimes but he's tough as hell, a great leader, and as we all know very smart. I blame the injury for the sudden decline in his play and give him a flyer. He deserves to be unchallenged as the number one guy next year and I think he will be. This regime believes in Fitz, his team definitely does, and once the rest of the fans buy in I think this team is going places, I really do.
  4. Posting only in regards to the QB comment, I'm gonna give Fitz another shot if this broken rib stuff turns out to be true.
  5. I don't understand why they can't sign him for four years to big money, he might be getting old, but he's coming off his best season in the NFL. It'd be pretty dumb to let a guy like him go, though I've come to expect nothing from our Front Office, except that I will most likely be disappointed with them.
  6. Gained loads more respect for Fitz after hearing this, if its true, cracked ribs hurt like a B word. I think that's a good enough excuse for a poor end to the season.
  7. Love this guy! We need ten more players on the defense just like him.
  8. Fitz is the guy, we're going to keep building around him until there's nothing more we can do. With the right pieces he can take this team places.
  9. I gotta be honest. I, as most of you were, was excited about Spiller's potential, but upset that we drafted a seeming luxury pick instead of something of true need. Bills fans knew Freddy Jackson was the real deal, but Gailey was unsure. This regime wanted to draft a playmaker to build their offense around, and ended up finding that in Jackson. Obviously if they had done their homework I think they would have known Freddy was a real running back and the pick for Spiller may have gone towards something different. I suppose my point is, I trust their judgement at this point, and I think they're taking the Bills in the right direction. Very excited to see what they can do with Spiller being more established and Freddy splitting the carries. I see the Bills leading the league in rushing next year, taking a lot of the pressure off of Fitz, something we saw late in the season he doesn't handle very well. Go Bills!
  10. I think Wannstedt as a D coordinator is going to change things a lot. The Bills had games this year where, based on scheme alone, they took away the other teams ability to move the ball. Then we had blowout games, that's not so much a lack of talent as it is poor coaching, though we do lack talent in certain areas. Lotta rookies this year, no Kyle Williams, our pro bowler, and George Edwards, didn't help things at all. I think we'll be middle of the pack next year in defense rankings, top ten in offense if we stay healthy and keep Stevie. Keep Chan, he's miles ahead of any Jauron, Mularkey, or Williams. At least Chan proves he can out smart another coach, how often did you feel like we did that with any of those other guys? I like his attitude, I think its sustainable for players to stay dedicated to him, of course it all comes down to winning, but Chan is a no BS kind of guy and I think most players will respect that. If we miss the playoffs the next two years, I think you have to can him, but as of now he can stay and I think he will improve.
  11. Fitz isn't taking this team anywhere, he's average at best.
  12. I'd run through the streets if we signed Peyton Manning, I don't care if it was for the rest of our salary cap.
  13. The things Stevie Johnson does, regardless of what the shirt says, what the celebration was, put his TEAM in danger of losing. I don't care how many TDs, receptions, yards, none of that matters. If you put yourself and your own stupid ego in front of the teams better interest, you're a selfish player and his past indicates he will always act this way. You'd think he would learn, after so many mistakes, but he doesn't. He made his bed, now sleep in it. I for one am damn happy we have a coach who isn't intimidated by his players. What Chan did today sent a message to his team that if you come to work everyday, ready to play, do your job in order for the TEAM to have the best chance of winning, you can play for us. Today, that strategy didn't work because of the lack of skill we have on our bench. But I think it set a precedent for the future. Stevie, either sign here or don't, I couldn't care less if you leave, but you can play for us if you want. Anyone who thinks this was a bad decision doesn't truly understand football, and how EVERY yard matters. Selfish players are the most frustrating thing to watch as a football fan and former player. He's got people busting their ass out there, and doing it quietly, because they want to win that bad. They don't care if they're on sportscenter, or if their stupid twitter gets noticed, all they care about is winning and THOSE players are the ones that win championships.
  14. You don't have low sack totals and great rushing production without a solid offensive line. Credit goes to both sides.
  15. You keep Wood if I had to pick. But calling him injury prone? Injury prone is when guys get muscle problems, joint problems, tendon problems, things of that nature. As billsfan put it, he got his leg broken and his knee rolled into, its unfortunate, but doesn't make him prone to injury, just unlucky.
  16. I thought Kelsay had his best season as a Bill this year, save the injuries. I would actually notice when he was on the field, making what some crazy people call, an "impact." Keep him around, he's paid a lot but its not like we need to save money anywhere.
  17. Again, I agree smoking is an awful habit, I agree the smell is pretty horrible, and I've been trying to quit for some time now with some success here and there. Again, those points hold no weight in this discussion.
  18. Oh noes, not a gateway drug!! Didn't realize I was in Dare class, I'm well aware as are all smokers the risks smoking puts on my health. Who are you to tell me what I should and shouldn't put in my body? Second class citizen? I'm not going to even indulge that comment, you're ignorance is implied within. I'd put a good 25% of fans at the Ralph have been drinking "irresponsibly" (consisting of three drinks or more in a short period), point is, drinking excessively is still an awfully bad habit, one that loads of fans at the stadium partake in every home game. If cigarettes were illegal, then treating them differently would be more understandable, even though I would still disagree, but they aren't.
  19. Wow, some people in here are funny. Smoking is awful for you, yes, but people have a right to smoke. They aren't second class citizens, they happen to have a bad habit. I bet all these people shunning smokers are perfect. FYI, if you drink, and shun smokers at the same time, you're a hypocrite.
  20. We didn't have problems selling out when the team was winning. If the Bills are good our fans are as good as any in the league, when they aren't however, the fans aren't. You can't blame folks for not wanting to spend money on a bad product, and I wouldn't call those people their yesterday "the most diehard Bills fans." I go to my grandmothers every Christmas eve and I'm not about to break that tradition to go watch a team (formerly) on a seven game losing streak.
  21. Good for the Lions and their fans I'm happy for them. Hey, the Lions went 0-16, betcha they didn't think they'd be in the playoffs four or five years later, keep looking onwards and upwards Bills fans, Merry Christmas!
  22. Dareus is the best pick we've had in years, Williams will be good as I believe Hairston will, Sheppard could be good if he progresses which I hope he will, same with Searcy and Rogers. Overall this years draft class blows last years out of the water. If we can have another draft like this, some good moves in F/A, and most importantly stay healthy, we'll make a playoff push next year.
