  1. I say keep him forever, lets just ditch the hopeful feelings we get, the only fun in being a Bills fan anymore is hoping we'll win, and just get some continuity and see what he does if we just leave him as HC.
  2. Anyone who thinks we shouldn't resign Freddy is just a hilarious human being.
  3. Are you saying he's ignorant for not being Christian? Cause if so then lol.
  4. Needed 20 from him :/ On topic, Lynch was never a bad player or a bust like CJ, he was a pro bowler in his first year and topped 1,000 yards his first two years. Why did we hate him? Oh yeah cause he smoked weed and occasionally hits people with his car. He was a good football player and we didn't need to chase him out of town, I'd take him in every situation over Spiller. Yeahhh, posts like this would be fine if our front office was capable, but they aren't. They make mistake after mistake and Marshawn having another 1,000 yard season while we have to watch arm tackle Spiller is frustrating as hell.
  5. I'm willing to bet the players lift moderately during the season to keep their strength up. Cause if they don't, the entire NFL is doin it wrong.
  6. How can you run when CJ Spiller is your only option, I can't stand to continue to watch him not make decisions and end up getting tackled for a gain of two. Find the hole, and hit it fast and hard (that's what she said).
  7. Gonna completely disagree with you there, no way he's lost so much strength that he can't even throw the ball anymore, he's never been accurate. I think he's become far too conservative and its hurting him. He's still a gamer and I love that, but he's lacking those throws like the one to David Nelson against Oakland, I think our offensive line's recent ineptitude has him throwing with less of a step than he used to.
  8. The last time we drafted a QB with our first overall pick was Kelly right? Just saying...
  9. If he can hit an open receiver he can play for my team, damn I wish Fitz was a better passer.
  10. And perhaps a testament to Dareus? I think so.
  11. I think Bell will be leaving, Hairston hasn't been a stud but neither has Bell and we'll be able to keep Hairston for much less than Bell would get on the open market. Merriman will be back next year I think, no reason to cut him, he made an impact on our D when he was out there. McGee I think needs to go with his age and history of injuries, keep Lindell cause I can't stand this Rayner kid, Wood's our second best player on offense so we'd better keep him. Donald Jones and Marcus Easley have not earned their stay so I hope to see them leave, Roscoe can't stay healthy but I like him when he is healthy. Troup's got one more year and if he doesn't show up by then I think he's done as well. We do have a good nucleus like you said, its just a matter of getting more average to above average players and less garbage players.
  12. Haha I lumped em together cause they were drafted so close to each other in the same year.
  13. Its about schemes, watch teams throw on us. We run this like, extremely soft zone coverage, which is fine for a 3-4 when you can get pressure to the QB, but given 3-4 comfortable seconds in the pocket all you need to do is get your receiver to the soft spot and lay it in there. How many times have you seen a receiver catch a ball in between 3 Bills defenders, but none of them are there to make the play? Edwards is a god awful excuse for a defensive coordinator and this defense is quite possibly as others have said the worst I've ever seen a Bills defense play. We've definitely had years with less talent, Perry Fewell was working with garbage and he made our defense at least watchable. I honestly cringe when our D comes on the field.
  14. Just something I wanted to address, one of the extremely few highlights of our "defense," if it can even be called that at this point, has been Dareus. Now he hasn't been this huge disruptive force every week, but he has had his games. He's also stayed healthy, played most downs in a position he's probably not all that comfortable in, and is taking a leadership role in the locker room. Not to mention he leads our team in sacks, not a huge accomplishment on this defense but with that said, he does play on the Bills defense. He's had excellent games these past two weeks and I think those games will begin to become more of a trend over time. Without a doubt he is my second favorite draft pick in a long looooong time, right behind the picks of Eric Wood and Andy Levitre, but that's just cause I'm an o-lineman at heart. If this team can get a true QB, stay healthy, and get some depth, we're going to be good whether its with this coaching staff or another one. We have some true talent on our team its just a matter of surrounding them with capable players, not Leodis McKelvin, Kelvin Sheppard, Chris Kelsay, Spencer Johnson, Dwan Edwards, and most recently to be added to my **** list, Bryant Scott. We're all pissed and angry now, but I'll take a bet against overwhelming odds you'll all be back, just like me, patiently waiting for the playoffs...
  15. Choice is a better pass blocker than CJ. That said, if we don't start using him correctly we're going to cast him off and he'll make plays for another team. Newsflash Chan, he can't run between the tackles, he looks great on the pitchouts, but god forbid we run more than one of those a game. He's a special talent but that will never be seen because he plays for the saddest franchise in the NFL.
  16. I pray we draft a QB, there's some good ones coming out this year and I'm fine to let Fitz start next season, screw up, and then put the new kid in right around the end of November when hope is lost. Not like it matters where we draft though, we haven't hit on pick in my lifetime.
  17. You're right, lets excuse how poorly he's playing cause the defense sucks. Come on man!
  18. I can't believe we paid Fitz 60mil, he gets worse and worse the more he plays.
  19. With the right supporting cast I think Fitz can beat any team. If he has enough talent he'll get the ball in the hands of those guys while making a play here and there. He's more than a game manager, he's not elite and its stupid to even talk like that, but I like him as our QB for the foreseeable future.
  20. Rivers is currently having an awful year WEO and the Texans are still scoring cause they have Arian Foster.
  21. Let me put it to you this way. When the Jets play the Saints, or the Packers, and they play defense the way they played defense against us the first game, you're really going to tell me the Saints or Packers receivers aren't going to be getting open? Teams shut us down without a problem, granted Fitz isn't Brees or Rogers, but he's not working with anything close to what they have. Haha thanks for giving me a good laugh.
  22. Fitz 20TDs and 14INTs Rivers 19TDs and 17INTs Ryan 19TDs and 12INTs Fitz is fifth in the league in accuracy, 7th in overall TDs, he's also the least sacked quarterback in the league. That's right folks, right behind someone you might know uhhh Michael Vick? Who's been injured the past three weeks. Read into stats as little or as much as you'd like but Fitz is here to stay.
  23. All's I'm saying is look how long it took us to find a guy like Fitz, easily the best QB to come to Buffalo since Kelly, I'm not ready to jump ship just because he's had a bad stretch of games, which he's come out of in the past two weeks, or because he has a couple errant passes a game. Bottom line is we lost 4 games this season by a combined 16 points. We are very very close to being a solid team and abandoning the QB you just signed on as your guy for the next six years is what I would call going backwards. We need to continue to build, which will give us depth and talent along the way.
