  1. Totally agree. I think Frank Reich should start to. It seems that people always forget each year that this is the pre-season. It doesn't mean ANYTHING. A month ago, people were saying Fitzpatrick sucks and now he should be starting? By the time week 2 rolls around, the pre-season will be a distant memory and like every year, we will recall how irrelevant it is.
  2. Why have an avatar of underage girls showing their asses?
  3. I just meditated and came up with a magical imaginary collection of football players from the 1980's. What do you guys think? QB- Steve DeBerg (on the Bucs); Tommy Kramer RB- John L. Williams; Mike Rozier; Eddie Lee Ivory; Freeman McNeil WR- Hassan Jones; Preston Dennard; Kevin House; Phil McConkey TE- Cap Boso; Orson Mobley K- Ali Haji Sheikh; Nick-Mike Mayer Oilers Defense
  4. All 10,000 plus people in here are in a fantasy football leagues (the real twinks are in 3+). What makes you think anybody cares about your team?
  5. Steely, I'll give you 2 to 1 odds and bet you whatever amount of money you'd like that Chris Ellis makes the 53-man roster. Let me know.
  6. I met Chris Brown at a sports bar the night before a Bills game and talked to him for about 45 mts. He definitely had somewhat of a holier than thou attitude. Dude was kind of a twink to be honest.
  7. You're right, I don't think Schobel's gonna get cut, I'm just saying 1 in 100- it's possible, whereas Lee Evans getting cut is impossible. I agree with most people on here though- Maybin, Ellis, Bryan, Schobel, Kelsay and Denney equals one too many. If I had to bet money I would say the leading candidate to get cut is Chris Kelsay followed by Bryan. Don't forget the contract factor- it wouldn't make any sense to cut Denney, who makes less than Kelsay but appears to be more valuable (run defense, pass blocking, etc.) Let's not sugar coat it, Kelsay blows.
  8. POSSIBLE noteworthy cuts will include Rhodes McIntyre McKinney Kelsay Florence Simpson That's about it, who else that would shock you even has a chance of getting cut- I was thinking Schouman, but I'm thinkin they're gonna keep 4 TE's and cut McIntyre. I'll just throw it out there, but Schobel wouldn't absolutely shock me- if and only if Maybin signs and looks decent. Ellis is making this team, it's not even a question. You don't give up on a hyped, talented 3rd round draft pick who looks to be progressing after one season.
  9. Agree completely. Orakpo is proven in this league and a better player. What were the Bills thinking? Can we end this thread and re-assess it in two years please? Half your posts are gonna sound ridiculous by the end of this season- how soon a player signs and how they look in one pre-season game has absolutely nothing to do with how their careers are gonna pan out! Come on guys.
  10. Too early to label Losman a bust IMO. Let him get back on track in the UFL and come back to the League before you make such a harsh assessment of him.
  11. Ya know, I've been thinking about it crayonz and if you do the math, the Bills will actually be better off losing against the Saints and the Bucs because it will improve their in-conference record at the end of the year. Thoughts?
  12. I don't want to sound condescending, but I almost think it's to the point that if you don't like Collinsworth, then you're simply not a serious football fan. Is he kind of dorky? Of course. Can he be a little bit arrogant sometimes? I suppose. Now I've never heard that quote about the Olympics, but clearly we're missing some context with that one or else there would have been more of an uproar about that. But anyway, nobody in the business breaks down football plays and players as efficiently as Collinsworth and nobody else tells it like it is like Collinsworth. Madden is a legend but his insight was Football 101, whereas Collinsworth is for grad school students of the game- which clearly there are very few of on here. Deion Sanders? Makes me wonder about this board. Collinsworth is the best in the business. Period.
  13. I watched the game at a bar with friends, so I couldn't go into detail like some people on here (how you can tell which offensive linemen performed well and which didn't is beyond me), but I will mention one thing- anyone who doesn't think that Roscoe Parrish has ridiculous talent, needs more touches, could be a very useful player in a functioning offense, etc..., isn't paying attention. That play he made on that quick-almost-lateral pass (screen, hitch, whatever) where he made an ever so slight juke and the guys jock fell out of his pants and the next thing you know he's 10-15 yards downfield- that's all Jauron should need to see before realizing he's got to get this guy involved this year.
  14. Van Miller deserves to see his name up there and enjoy it while he's still around, no question. C. Bennett (Tecmo reference) is borderline, but there's already so many guys up from that era. The other ones, absolutely no way. Ruben Brown and Eric Moulds have gotta go up eventually based on numbers and accolades, but man, that's such a forgotten, meaningless era of Bills football, it's hard to imagine people really caring about those two. Steve Freeman? I'll tell you what though, Moorman WILL be up there someday, no question.
  15. His neck looks so ridiculously massive that the picture looks fake. He's clearly put on some muscle and frankly I don't give a sh-- if he was mixing cocktails of HGH, andro, creatine and protein, we're overdue for a big stud MLB.
  16. Bledsoe of 2004 even with Edwards this year? That's optimistic. McGahee was absolutely insane in 2004 WR's probably better this year Offense potential to be better than 7th in the NFL in scoring?
  17. Dude. That was me. Unbelievable story. At Yankee Stadium in 2007 in June vs. Mets and 4 dudes roll up in our section wearing the following jerseys: Chris Cooley Redskins, Lavarenues Coles Jets, Brad Johnson Vikings and Jeff Saturday Colts. It was truly bizarre, obviously many questions arise from this. So there ends up being a long rain delay, we leave early, end up catching the last couple innings on TV and sure enough, these four guys had moved up and are sitting right behind home plate. I'll never forget those four jerseys, to this day I am at a complete loss.
  18. I think it's a sweet shirt, I ordered one myself. I agree though- and by the way, if you think that's over the top, DO NOT see Bruno.
  19. The crazy part here is that literally all six of these guys may not play the position they played in college in the pros.
  20. Hey guys, my friend runs an online t-shirt store and I promised him I'd post a link on here. Evidently, he made a TO shirt that TO himself caught wind of, his assistant contacted my buddy and he purchased a bunch and will be seen wearing it on the reality show. I think it's pretty clever- although TO himself must be pretty cocky to actually wear it (you'll see). Check it out, here's the main page of the website, you'll see it right away... http://dirtyragz.com/
  21. Either you need an English lesson yourself or "your" playing along here, in which case, good one!
