Great thread. Lots of good things already posted, I'll add Justin Jenkins to the list. At least he made a few nice special teams plays to give us something to smile about during some rough games

Yeah you're right... I was thinking how they never have a MNF game Week 17. I always have hoped I never get caught in a situation like yours due to the flex scheduling

Not necessarily... Remember that the tiebreaker goes to easier strength of schedule in the draft. E.g., last year BUF lost to SF and both finished 7-9, but they drafted before us because they had easier strength of schedule in 2008. We will beat KC next week though!

Same here! Hopefully I'll make it home in time for Week 15 so we can beat the Pats* as well My first Bills game was a preseason against the Falcons in mid-90s.... exciting I know. Can't remember which was the first regular season game, but I really want to make it to a home MNF game one of these years.

If I remember correctly, we had a pass over the middle for first down to about the 6 yard line and about 13 seconds left, one timeout left. Now at this point, I would say ideally you use the timeout immediately. Then take one or hopefully two shots (passes) into the endzone before kicking the FG if neither of those work. Instead, their initial reaction is to save that one timeout for before the FG. So they run up and run a play as quickly as they can, running it for no gain and barely getting that timeout call after the play before half ends. Is there a thread about this already? I hate to start new threads on gameday with 50 new ones already... Anyway, I think I'm right on this one?

I don't feel like going through the whole thread, but the timing may have more to do with keeping the fans at ease, as well as getting Fewell a 7-week interview.

Went there for dinner and the Sabres on Saturday. Convenient to get to, took the light rail for $3 from downtown right to the place. This place was a University of Michigan + Bills + Sabres themed bar, so a bunch of disappointed UM fans trickling out as we got there. They had the Sabres game going on almost every TV, with I think three TVs outside as well... Nice setup outside too, and they certainly needed the room... We guessed about 200 Buffalo fans there at one point. I was warned not to get the wings if I liked meaty, but their sauces were actually pretty good, I got the boneless. They had Blue / Blue Light aplenty and the waitress charged us a few less than we actually had. Of course, the place went nuts at the end of the game... I don't get to experience something like that more than a few times a year, so i was loving it. In summary, decent restaurant and bar, but they did a stellar job of accommodating. So I guess we may not play @CAR again til 2017?

We were getting pretty vocal up in Section 509 by the 4th quarter. DEFENSE cheers aplenty. Felt like home! I would say Bills fans made up about 20-30% of the stadium. Great stadium and great city, by the way!
